This is how a shop should operate. The organization, cleanliness and professionalism. In addition, any shop that builds engines should bench run them as a minimum, checking for leaks and other issues, before leaving the shop.

I remember that in the 1970s when I drove a 61 bug, Empi came out with a 2-barrel carb they called 'The Bug Spray'. I never bought one but looking back, I wish I had. I did get an exhaust system for it, though, which did make it run better.

great video! but the music is maybe a little too loud.
I just got a set of empi ratio rockers and the adjuster hole threads are so oversized that a nogo gauge will thread the whole way in and still has room to wobble around, the same thing on the sidecover holes on a new empi trans case I bought a few months back, even with blue loctite on the studs the nylock nuts will still thread the studs back out when you go to take them off. And if anyone buys one of the mini sumps and it leaks around the nuts it's most likely caused by the countersunk area around the stud holes that are so lopsided they had to be done with a hand drill. Good luck if you buy their stuff, for me I'll be avoiding them like the plague from now on.

200 H.P. is pretty respectable! one of my favorite parts of Aircooled VWs the young people don’t get it it’s basically a engine. designed by some of the Worlds greatest Engineers. to be a 36 Horse Power. motor and get along in a Vehicle very well inthe rest of a car built for that it’s really Remarkeable IMO i have a freind in Maryland that has been a ASE Certified Mechanic for 35 years. his brother owns the shop he works at and makes fun of the other one because he always wants to build Drag Racing Vehicles out of AirCooled VWs and the other brother. picks old Camaros and 57 Chevy Cars !
