    Hey, i didnt notice much difference when i did this, am i supposed to go through the 2 laters of metal or just the first one that is visible under the covers?

    This seems so much easier and cheaper then hunting down an aftermarket exhaust for the inazuma. I know what I'll be doing in the next few days.

      Andrew Strathie That's cool. Mine are equivalent to about 8mm. I wonder if 10mm makes it sound any better? I suppose it's hard to say just judging by camera recording audio and youtube audio.

    aynısını yaptım,ses değişti ve performans da sağladı, özellikle yokuş aşağı inerken kompresörde çok tatlı ses veriyor. tavsiye ederim.

    I did this to my bike and you can really hear it engine break, But I ended up taking the left can off completely LOL.

    • @ApeFahrenheit
      @ApeFahrenheit  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Fudge You Definitely can hear the engine braking. That's when it sounds best actually! When I installed my center stand, I had to remove the right can temporarily. I fired it up with it off, just for the hell of it, and it sounded kinda cool, but the sound didn't really "match" the bike. Looked kinda weird too! lol

      Zen Valo Yeah it really doesn't, it sounds like a thumper lol. Everyone expects to see a dirt bike when I turn the corner, and all they see is a sport bike lol.

    Just bought a Inazuma 250 and did this mod and I'm a little concern because now that I did it I'm checking that the bike might get a negative impact in performance like losing torque or less miles per gallon, I did it like a month ago and so far I haven't seen any changes besides the noise but can someone tell me if suffered any long term issue ?

    I did this mod. I drilled 10mm holes, bike sounds a lot better now. Thanks for sharing. 👍

      No prob! I've since sold the bike and have a Stryker 1300cc now, but that exhaust mod definitely helped the sound. Thanks for watching!

    I used two different size hole saws and got a better sound I'll up load a video to my channel soon so you can see and hear

      Cool. Make sure to post another comment here so I know when you get it uploaded. Do you also have a GW250 Inazuma?

    Where are you guys drilling the holes into

    • @ApeFahrenheit
      @ApeFahrenheit  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Once you pull the cone covers off, there is just flat metal behind. I just drilled a few holes into that and then put the covers back on. Quick easy mod.

    I performed this Mod as well, Love the new sound.

      Tim Irvin Did you do the same as me or a different number and/or size of holes? I've thought about adding a few more to each, but one of the bolts for the outer cone was factory cross-threaded, so I ended up using blue loctite on it when I reinstalled. Not sure if I want to take it apart again...

    • @TimIrvin3
      @TimIrvin3 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Zen Valo I started out doing 5/16" holes, Rode it for a day, then went back and enlarged three holes on each side to 7/16" and got a different, almost two-tone sound. I had two cross-threaded bolts that I was able to rethread. Since doing this mod, my bike appears to get up to speed faster and it now tops out at 83MPH.

    hi
    does it affect fuel efficiency or engine performance?

  • @carnivore-andy68
    @carnivore-andy68 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    Cheers zen...dont think the hole size matters much...mine sounds like yours and the other guy who drilled and cut...i asked the mechanic at the bike shop where i bought it before doing it and he said it would be fine ..no problems. As there are tolerances in place to overcome any small changes in back pressure...loud and proud bro...hey zen i think iv seen you on the forums.
    Are you on facebook bro.
    All the best mate.
    Andrew strathie...ride safe.

    • @ApeFahrenheit
      @ApeFahrenheit  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Andrew Strathie Yeah, I'm on the Inazuma forum and the GW250 forum, but I prefer the Inazuma one more. I'm in the U.S. and not many people have the bike here. I get more more conversation on the Inazuma250.com forum. What's your name there? Mine's obviously the same. lol

    • @ApeFahrenheit
      @ApeFahrenheit  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'll check it out a bit later. I plan to plastidip the side muffler shield things soon. Not sure what else yet.

    Wow. Sound great. Doing this will have any effect on the bikes engine in any way?

    • @ApeFahrenheit
      @ApeFahrenheit  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Arif Demir From the bit of research I did ahead of time, the back pressure needed for the engine is taken care of by the catalytic converter. I've put on more than 500 miles since I posted this video a couple weeks ago and there hasn't been any ill effects. It might be possible to drill more, but this turned out good enough for my liking.
