I wish Chopin made more pieces like this. Not extremely hard to play yet beautiful sounding.
At least many modern composers make stuff like that
But this waltz was published posthumously, I think Chopin was not satisfied with it at least. Can you imagine a mature version of this waltz?
He has other pieces like that
Try Chopin’s Cantabile
Its actually hard to play this nicely.
I've never seen a channel getting destroyed by TH-cam like yours did. Thank you for not getting discouraged.
Wonderful playing as always.
Imagine Mumkey Jones and more controversial ones... but yeah mine was dying too. I have a feeling the algorithm got fucked up when adpocalypse happened. Thanks for the support! I won't give up, but I might slow down. Running out of ideas anyway, but I'm working on a few harder pieces. It will help if you share!
What happened? Im a new guy
@@LuffyL-ch1ku My channel suddenly died for a while but it's now recovering I think. Thanks for the sub!
@@TheFlamingPiano I wish you the best in making it a great channel man

Beautifully played composition bro enjoyed it ✌️❤️ it
Beautifully played.
Que coisa linda
Amazing piano-playing. Chopin was an outstanding composer. The ad shown before this video was pretty cool too. I know you can't control what ads show, but it was entertaining. Great video--please keep up the amazing work!
Thanks a lot! Looks like Google knows how to place its ads
Oh, I absolutely adore this piece, such a simple and yet so gorgeous and elegant. You played it beautifully, portraying the tenderness and longing in the piece so perfectly. A remarkable performance!!! By the way, "A poor man's Rousseau" made me laugh from your About page. :-)))
He shouldn't call himself a poor man's Rousseau. He is very good, although not as good as him.
Thanks a lot! And yeah a channel pretty much designed after him but using flames, and with lesser skill. I do branch out more at least
ooh i love this song, thanks for playing it. great job
Beautifully played
Nicely matched color for your signature flames. Melancholy music warms the soul.

If one questions me how is a warm and beautiful and mellow piece of music, I'll take him to here. That is the UNSAYABLE, just listen and realize.
Very well done! Perfectly played. I'm actually about to record this one too, it's almost finished. I absolutely love to play this one. Again, good job!

Well done flaming, you play beautifully :)
Thanks! I'd like to see this in your channel too!
i will wait for you to play ballade no1 no matter how long it takes because your interpretation the tempo is so clean and crisp i heard this piece played by lot of pianist they rush the mid portion but the gently played with tempo well done
Thanks. Might have to wait. The middle section and coda alone make it surprisingly harder for me to play than Mephisto Waltz
Although there's melancholy (as usual in a Chopin's piece), there's a feeling of hope, don't you think so? I almost see birds with this piece, what would had happened to Chopin for inspiring such a beautiful melody?.
Thank you for bringing this
Yes it starts with a minor and becomes major in some parts. There's also a video of this piece with a cartoon of a girl dancing, with a bird in it.
@@TheFlamingPiano The first time I watched that cartoon I cried (2 times) hdhshls
You’re editing is so nice sorry I have bad grammar
I like this song
this should have more views tbh

Bravo my friend. Your are a very talented TH-camr. Your video is just amazing my friend. Thank you for taking the time to come by our channel and giving it some love. I am so glad we have become friends. oxoxox CM
You are the best
I wanna learn it❤
It is actually hard but sounds easy. A minor sounds like sad but also nice
Please upload the"waltz in b minor op.69 no.2".
already did th-cam.com/video/_JX-EIVTB2Y/w-d-xo.html
Lmao xd
on may the 4th, you should play a star wars song like dual of fates, main theme, canrina band, or imperial march, etc
If I feel like it, or find a good arrangement I guess
Beautiful playing? and so cool how you do the clip. Are you playing on a digital piano? very nice
Thanks a lot! Yes it's digital
All those trills are supposed to come before the beat not on them (that's why they sound stuttered here), otherwise though a great performance!
Beautiful playing and sound!! What piano / mics do you use, if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks a lot! I use Roland RD-2000, and Pianoteq for the sounds, so no mic. I'm impressed with how you incorporate the shadows in your LEDs btw, that's all I lack
Cool, I'm checking out PianoTeq now.... can I also ask - which instrument do you use in PianoTeq, and are you using the standalone version or the plugin to Logic / ProTools? And on my helpful end - for the LED work, for better or for worse, my work on that is publicly available in my SeeMusic app... if you want to use it lol
All that's missing is the shadows, dunno how to code hehe. Sadly I don't have Apple products either. Anyway, I use Standalone to directly record MIDI. I used Bluthner for this but sometimes I also use Steinway and Steingreaber
@@TheFlamingPiano Yes hopefully one day a version of SeeMusic for windows! Thanks very much for the Pianoteq info, very much appreciated!!
@@SeeMusicPiano I'll check it out when it does come out. Really nice of you to post it for free, so thanks!
Cuáles son las 3 personas ignorantes que le dieron no me gusta a esta hermosa obra de arte?? 🙄
Great video! Would it be possible to do Beethoven piano sonata 23 "Appassionata" Op. 57? I know you've played before on this channel, but would love it if you could do it in this format. Thanks! I'll be watching :)
I did the 3rd movement live before with mistakes. Will take really long to refresh and master
@@TheFlamingPiano I see, I totally understand. I have another request then, if I'm allowed, Tango Jalousie by Jacob Gade. What do you think?
@@tdog7326 Damn, doesn't look easy either. Anyway here's my live video th-cam.com/video/0wv39qajbps/w-d-xo.html
Alright! let’s check out the only Chopin piece that doesn’t destroy pianists will to live, it’s Waltz in A minor.
Hello, Flaming Piano. You probably won’t read much less reply to this but here we go. You and other TH-camrs like Toms Mucenieks and Rousseau have inspired me to take up piano again, and have further inspired me to make my own videos. I barely know anything about getting your playing into a program like synthesia or something. Do you need a midi controller, or can you just use a regular digital keyboard? What software do you use? How do you activate LEDs in the keyboard? How do you position the camera above the keyboard and what camera do you use? Sorry for so many questions but what you and others do is so interesting to me and I just wanted to know how you do it. And by the way, the waltz was beautiful :)
Thanks a lot and good luck with that. You'll need a keyboard that can record MIDI (I think a regular digital piano will do but might as well check), then a USB to MIDI cable, or printer cable, whatever's in the instructions, and some software like FL studio maybe. I use Pianoteq (standalone) for the sound and also to record MIDI. For the LED, they're fake, made in After Effects. I used a smartphone to record (so not so good quality, it will suck at 1080p and so will the bars). I used a mic stand on a side table as a DIY overhead setup.
Wow, thank you so much!!!
I listened to it and wanted to learn it myself. You motivated me to teach myself piano quite a lot. I'm still a beginner, although I must say, that I didn't expect myself to be able to play the entertainer (without the right hand octave) so soon. And now I wanted to start this, because it seemed quite easy, but I have some problems with the speed of my fingers for playing the "Appogiatura" (correct?). Which makes me fail already in the first part, where it is played. Any tipps for gaining/training said speed, and how to get the timing right? How you played it sounds so good. When I do, it sounds a bit like out of place...
Try playing it very slow first at a steady tempo, use a metronome if possible. Also play firmly at first
@@TheFlamingPiano Yeah, that's what I planned to do. The "Appogiatura". Is it played bevor the tick of the metronome, or are the three notes starting on it? As I informed myself it is played like squeezing it just before the big written note. Is that correct?
@@Apahdos I think so. I don't know, didn't pay too much attention to it
@@TheFlamingPiano ok, well, thank you very much :) I hope the best for your channel!
It’s beautiful how could anyone dislike this... miserable devils x
There's always that douchebag... more if your channel gets bigger. Thanks for watching
Lol I get at least two every time, they wouldn’t tell me I was crap to my face I’d drop them 🥋🥋🥋🥋👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 x
Could u play Turkish March by Beethoven, please?
Love this piece, by the way. Congratulations.
Thanks! Doesn't look too easy though. Might take a while since I'm also doing other pieces (including stuff assigned for lessons)
@@TheFlamingPiano Of course, take your time! It's true that piece it's not easy.
Thank you, mate, you're great!
Love this waltz... Just one suggestion... Just reduce the flames or make it semiviewable as it disturbs learners...
Thanks. I don't know how to make it more stable and it gets too weak in some parts for me but yeah this is not meant to be a tutorial, just more for the visuals

No, but I didn't get a copyright claim for this
@@TheFlamingPiano I used public domain music from Musopen on a video and it was silenced. Pinterest said that it contained audio from Waltz in A minor, op. posth., B150, The Flaming Piano property of AudioSalad".😕
