YOUR CHANNEL IS SO UNDERRATED!!!! WHY DO YOU ONLY HAVE 14K SUBSCRIBERS YOU DESERVE WAY MOOOORE!!!!!!some people charge hundreds of dollars for masterclasses and analyzes like this, but you do it for free. You are a lifesaver!!! Good luck in everything and thank you for everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Chopin. I am a beginner at piano but that piece is one of my faves. Thank you for this video. I now understand the structure of the song and you explain the best way how to play it with elegance.
“I go with the shorter pedal option in the Last Phrase to create a subtle fading effect and to avoid a heavy adieu.” I love the point very much, thank you.❤❤
I am glad I found this channel as a beginner. Not only you provide easy to follow instructions, but you go over all the tiny details of the composition, helping us understand how to play the piece properly. Appreciations from Spain!
I want to tell you that thanks to your video, my 10-year-old student and stepson won a Mexican national contest in second place. I really appreciate your content.
You are one of the most amazing teachers! I will revisit this piece with your tutorial. I note there are no Mozart tutorials. I would love to have a tutorial from you on Mozart Fantasia in D Minor. 🙏
Thanks for your kind words! You are right, Mozart is missing on this channel, and I will make videos on some of his music, including the Fantasia in D minor, hopefully soon! All the best
Honestly, going into my 7th year of lessons, your teaching stuff my teacher wouldn’t never dream of and it’s very refreshing! You‘ve helped solve a lot of small hiccups with your tips! Amazing stuff really!
I tend to use both the una corda and sustain pedal at the same time in similar melodic passages. Sometimes with half pedal. I think it gives it a sort of anchor on the bass while leaving the melody exposed. Good lesson, thanks.
Excellent and easy to follow … most helpful… excellent instruction . Thank you I appreciate the music score in your video as your explain the piece . Excellent
I actuly learn that Waltz.Thank you for this tutorial, espacially on the use of the pedal. My piano teacher told me to use the pedal just on the first beat! It change all the dynamic!
Mindblowing! What an amazing teacher you are. I love the way you are explaining things and how these are projected in the way you play. I am on Etude No4 at the moment (great work there too btw) and looking to approach this one next, so your lesson will be a valuable resource! Thanks!
I have been assigned this by teacher, this video is exceptionally helpful! Honestly man, your videos have managed to get me off the worlds longest learning plateau lol In fact now I ask my teacher to pick pieces based on Antunes channel. I have not seen another channel whereby one goes into very specific details on pieces. Everyone else is just talking in generalities,
I like this piece very much that since I don't play piano well I played the right hand part in the violin.... this piece and Mazurka Op. 67, No. 2 are my favorite Chopin pieces.
Thank you very much, I was going to piano course but I had to go abroad. I had a piano there too. You became my piano teacher for a short time and I was very pleased :) I learned this piece with you. I hope my piano teacher likes it when he sees me, thank you very much again💗🎶🎼🎹I can play this song now! Can you please do a Mazurka in G minor?
Wuaaaw .. I'm currently learning this piece and it's very helpful for me (because I'm just adult beginner).. good tips for fingering and other usefull techniques .. Thank you for sharing .. 🙏❤️
At first, I thought I came across a tutorial video for a famous piano brand, but the voice, video quality and guidance were even more amazing than the music. I followed you on IG, and you should definitely post there much more often too!
Thank you so much for this waltz. I loved it. Answering your question - one of my favourite is waltz a minor Op.34 No. 2. I would appreciate your interpretation and a tutorial. Regards ❤
You are a good explainer! Makes me want to revisit this piece! It would be interesting if you could visit a mazurka. There aren't a lot of analytical videos on them, and I would love to learn from you
Just found your channel and the way you teach is amazing, I’m just starting to learn piano and im trying to learn Chopin’s Waltz in C sharp minor do you think you could possibly do a tutorial on it at some point?
Bar 21 is killing me! 😀Thanks for the awesome video! I notice your fingering for bar 21 is 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3. I probably just have shorter fingers, but I find it very difficult to reach the E with the 1. finger coming from the B with the 3. finger. When doing 1-3-1-2-3-1-2-3-4 it is a little bit easier for me to reach, especially with speed.
Hey there! You don't need to connect B and E with the finger legato. Just try to keep the B longer to create an illusion of legato. I am afraid your fingering doesn't seem to be the most practical option because of the frequent use of the 1st finger at the start of the passage. I would stick to 1-2-3... or 1-2-4... etc. Good luck!
Hi, well done. Love it! You deserve praise :) It would be nice, if you give us masterclass about chopins composition - Waltz in C sharp minor(Op. 64 No. 2)🎹
I tried to ask for the sheet music > There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later. Tried a couple of emails, both failed, so I assume something is wrong your side. Thanks
