Personal Deity Experiences || Working with Brighid

- I was inspired to talk about working with Brighid by two people on TH-cam (links below) and their discussion about their deities and their experiences. They mentioned something that really inspired me - and that's the fact that many pagans and witches don't discuss their personal experiences with their Gods, Goddesses, and other beings. This could be from fear, hesitation, or just because they don't want to.
I believe that sharing our personal experiences with our spiritual path - including the gods we work with - can be a learning experience for both ourselves and others. It is important for me to share my experiences because I'm all about the education and spread of knowledge.
Today, I want to share my thoughts on this as well as my experience working with and worshiping the Irish Goddess Brighid.

I worked with Brighid to conceive a child after struggling with fertility issues. I gave my daughter the middle name Bridget in her honour :) She can be extremely powerful and loving/compassionate. I promised her to name my child in her honour and she let me know that I would concive a daughter. I was even told during my pregnancy that my baby was a boy but I knew she was a girl. The next scan I had they told me that they got it wrong and she was actually a girl.

As a man brigid is as of now the only goddess I serve.
I love her so much.
Her energy is so protective she is like a divine mother and I feel like her son.
She has taught me many important things :)
She even cured my depression

I loved this. Brigid has been extremely important to me in my path and I believe her to be my matron Goddess aswell. I connect to her mostly threw iron work. She is the reason I took up Blacksmithing and I have dedicated that hobby as a devotional practice to honor Brigid.
I love that you honor her by working with your hands to make things for her to. I have found that to be a powerful way to connect with this amazing Goddess. Best of luck to you in your path. Manny blessings.

I LOVE talking about the deity I have worked with and work with now. I have no problem talking about them with friends in a private setting. I was so leary of talking about it on my channel. I realised Brigid has been reaching out to me - bird feathers in my path 24/7, drawing the CANDLE Magic (aka fire) oracle card four times in two weeks - like five literal minutes ago and I'm so glad to now find this video, oof
For over 25 years Brigid has been around and calling but only now as an adult I’m now responding
I am in the phase of learning and researching about Brighid and youtube happened to recommend your video to me which I find very useful! :) I'm new to Deity work as well as to developing a relationship/connection with Brighid but I just kind of feel like now it's thanks to her I find all the good sources that I need because up until this point I really wanted to connect and work with her but I just couldn't find very informative resources,perhaps I wasn't ready or the timing wasn't just right. I've started giving her offerings and while it's still a new thing for me , I am really enthusiastic about worshipping and honoring her. For the past year, I've felt like Brighid is almost a celebrity I am trying to meet/get close to. I am not sure what I should do to be worthy of Her presence or guidance. I wear a jade pendant in her honor daily, but in my gut I still hear this "no/not yet" to Her working with me. I am a healer and a crafter. While reading about the Gods and Goddesses of Irish paganism, She jumped out at me. I still have a LOT to learn about Her and the Tuatha De Danann but I am unsure where to even start.
Sometimes I do feel like She is picky and if you aren't doing your shadow work and acknowledging the aspects of yourself that need work, in my experience, She has told me "no, you're not ready yet". Just keep doing what you're doing, learning, reflecting and honoring Her in whatever way you do.

I couldn't help but share my experience with Brigid, Round the Cauldron! I was a member of a Wiccan group. It's necessary to say that I had been in this group for some time, and I had no connection with any other deity. And until then, I had never learned of Brigid. One night, I dreamed of a young woman red braids that held out her arms to me as I stood Ina round pit made of rocks. She smiled gently and lifted me out of the pit. The next morning I went to the Wiccan group meeting and there I found exactly a metal medal it was written: Brigid. And so there was a very strong connection between me and Brigid, like there never was with any other deity!
I found your video about Brighid - yay! I moved from Oregon to Connecticut. Quite the life changing experience. I hope you like Florida. I yearn to visit Oregon again one day when the states open up again. I relate to your feeling of knowing your goddess is near when you crochet and cook. Her tough love is important also. I feel the same way about my goddess. "A" guides me in a similar way. You are on the right path, keep going. Thank you for sharing this.
I'm really hoping I like Florida, too. We leave in 4 days and my anxiety just keeps creeping up about it. Brighid is my rock in this transition and it is fitting, I think, that we will be leaving for Florida on the Summer Solstice, a time that is literally a catalyst in the natural world, too. I hope you can make it out to Oregon to visit soon

Love the Irish Pagan School, growing up in America I was so hungry for any scrap of Irish/Celtic culture I could find.
I think Brighid might have communicated with me. I did a guided meditation video on meeting a goddess, and I got this vision.

I saw a woman who looked older, but it was kind of hard her tell her age. She had dark curly red hair and wore a very thick cloak of several different colors, though predominately green and earth tones with different colored threads. and was very tall, taller than most men. She was warm and motherly. She told me that she was a being who witnessed the cycle of life over and over again and was drawn to anything with a spark in it, and she saw potential in me to grow my fire. She felt so warm and motherly, but also wise. I felt a warmth tingling throughout my body.

It could very well be Her. She presents Herself to us in different ways. If you're interested, explore it further and see what happens!
Hi, I recently found your channel and love it. I was struck by the similarity between your experiences and my own. I also had several years in Wicca and then last year was pulled away to a branch of Celtic Polytheism (Brythonic/Welsh rather than Irish) last year, by Gwyn ap Nudd who is now my Patron God. I dedicated myself to Him last October, so it's always nice to hear from other Pagans who have or are considering dedication. I know it's definitely a big step and I wish you luck on your journey!

Do you mind me asking, are you Welsh? I feel a strong pull toward the Brythonic Welsh language and lore; my family were all Welsh and I spent a lot of time in North Wales when I was younger. Does this Welsh deity 'show' themselves to you in any way?
