Loved my Sur Ron X for the last year or two, but I ordered, from LUNA, a Talaria 3 days ago, and a few hours ago put the Sur Ron up for sale. You are spot on with your comments on range! It's even worse when riding an electric snowbike, worse as in estimating it I mean, as besides riding style the snow conditions change everything. When asked by non riders of e bikes, or snowbikes, I use time..... "longer than I want to ride."
I don’t think surron will do too much with the light bee as far as power upgrades. Hopefully they improve things. But because they have the ultra bee, I don’t think they need to make the light be better to compete with the talaria. Light bee is great because it weighs less then talaria and the ultra bee is better because the platform is better overall for off road. The talaria falls in the middle of the light bee and ultra bee, almost like they each have their own class. Each bike rides and feel different, but you can use them all for the same thing
@@shockadellick talaria has mtn bike forks, shock, and brakes. Talaria will never compare to an ultra bee. Even if they put out similar power, the platform for off road is much better on the ultra bee.

The surron is easier to manhandle over fences, fit through gaps etc as it's physically smaller and lighter which is why I would choose this - myself being 5'6, the surron is almost perfect size & weight whereas the talaria is too big/too heavy in direct comparison, if you were going for more motorcross style then your in ultra bee territory which unfortunately the talaria can not compete nor be comoared to.
