How do you load your packages on your truck and know which one is the correct package for the stop ? Other than searching through hundreds of packages at each stop
I think there is another way is fedex could buy the house in central each city for make the warehouse for customers pickup by themselves or returning stuffs with heavy stuffs FedEx servers customers home with more charge on fees . Save car, gas other things .just need one or two stay there just take right order numbers from customers. You don’t worry of loss stuffs in the front home ‘s porch . Customers just come there put right numbers of order on screen or talk automatically stuffs come out from inside . I think less people don’t like come poste to pick up stuffs because get lined and processing long time.

@@Wjoethomas Boy, aint no way thats a bulk route.
@@Axiarus Bulk Route my A$$ he could've delivered that out of his Car..
That's not a bulk route wtf you talking about
I worked for Amazon and hated it with a passion, I was treated like crap and over worked now I work for fed ex and love it, people are so nice and I do half the work I did at Amazon
Umm your truck leaving the building looks like mine at about 6 pm wow so light
All y'all commenting about getting ready to start working at ground gonna quit within 3 months once you see the bullshit you'll be delivering 😂. Shit ain't right with the stuff we have to deliver by ourselves. This dudes truck is nothing compared to what its really like. Light day my dude? Tell them like it really is 😂😂😂. My best advice to the noobs is to run and never look back. Go apply at a furniture store and have another hand on what your delivering cause thats what you'll be packing around by yourself and busting your body up.
Not wrong. I'm quitting after almost 4 months...job is definitely not worth it.
Especially when they slam u and pay u by the day
Facts lmaoo my truck be stuffed and they make us take everything too🤦🏾♂️ but long as you use good form when lifting this job easy. I be getting like 150ish stops everyday and I be done around 1:30🏃🏾♂️💨
@@babyyamesso only have 150 packages??? I’m a dot driver for Amazon. I have 160 to 188 stops but I’ll have 329 to 340packages……
Sounds like you couldn't cut it, spent my first week doing all the leg work during peek while somebody drives, you make it sound way worse than it is. I've had a great time so far.
Hey man, is the job one of the reasons that you powerlift?
You know it
Great vid!!
Thanks!
How's the pay and benefits?
I'm a FedEx Express courier - I have tons of respect for you Ground guys, those ICs are miserable.
I’m getting ready to go to work for a contractor. But I can’t run, I’m 55 years old. I have to walk at a decent pace.😢
You don’t necessarily have to run. It just get your day over quicker.
Facts
2:12 average dog encounter for us😂😂
When did the gps guided map come ? Cuz when
I started I had to memorize my route like damn near 180 stops
Recently, it’s all Groundcloud and it makes the job so much easier
Does that mean the gos is accurate and dependable like you don't need to memorize streets very impressive 😅
hey can you ask your boss if he needs any scanners?
I was wondering do you guys typically do the same route every day?
Typically
I’m starting tomorrow as a FedEx delivery driver! I’m excited
I wish you well. Best advice is to keep to yourself and do your work. A lot of backstabbers exist in that place.
@@user-zr6pl6nb6z thank you! :)
How many packages you deliver… I deliver 200 to 300 and 150 stops
Depends on the day! Between 150-200
I learned if u carry an industrial tarp u can move anything. I moved a washer and dryer with it
2:51 didnt he just say he doesnt scan in the van? lol
Yes 😂
I love working for UPS. I ain’t running like yall. No use in running if I get paid by the hour
But it’s such a great workout
@@Wjoethomas I use the gym for that
0:20 wish my routes gave me two empty shelves to play with. Most of my loads won't even give me enough room to walk into my bulkhead until I'm like 15 stops in.
And 15 stops looks like it'd be half of your route.
That truckload and route be cake! Sign me up for wherever that one’s at

Fed Ex is the only shipping company you can count on to be late 95% of the time…. I will ask in the future if merchants use them and will not buy from any companies that use them as shippers!
As a FedEx Express courier I feel bad for this dude. Normally my packages are light weight ( well at least on my route ) I've only had one package that was 140 pounds and it was a struggle getting it up to their porch because of their uneven walkway to the house and the I couldn't get the dolly up it. Never had to carry a package o. My shoulder thankfully. This guy is hot and strong 😂 Thank you for helping us out.
Thanks 😂
Great video, did they pay you anything for this?
I wish!
I’m doing a ua and physical tomorrow. I have two years driving for Amazon and one year doing it myself.😊
How many stops do you usually get per day and how much time do you finish each route per day depending on the stops?
Gave me a good idea of what to expect, thank you👍
No problem 👍
Just curious. What vedr cameras you have on your truck?
Groundcloud
I have anything to take from FedEx but I have any doubts
Damn dude left with so much self space 😂. How many stops u had? Like 30?
I’m about to start at fedEx can the scanners get online? I don’t think they have iPads.
Yes the scanners get online!
@@Wjoethomas can you show a video of how to get to functions like that? Or just the scanner in general? I had my first day yesterday and wasn’t able to play around with it much to see everything it can do to make the job/life easier
@@kylieduet941 sure can
@@Wjoethomas thanks ur the best! I’ll subscribe so i dont miss it (if I didn’t already)
Can a 18 year old drive for fed ex?
No 21
4:23 did you just lean that heavy ass box 📦 against the door trapping them inside?💀
To anyone seriously thinking about applying to fed ex to drive the big trucks DO NOT DO IT.
I slaved away for 5 months 6 days a week. I was lifting up something super heavy and thought I really hurt myself. Told the bosses I needed a few days off to heal. I was fired the very next day.
They also take money from your checks due to their mess ups. Awful company to work for. If someone gets fired the whole crew has to stay late and get their truck delivered. There were numerous days I got home at 11:30pm from a 9am shift
1:41 What was that? 2:41 got ya! Naughty naughty 2:51 😂 it’s hard not to scan in the truck.
😂 touché
I just took my physical exam/dot today I believe I’ll be having my in person interview next week some time. I’m only 22 im young so I have time to see what I really want to do in life so I’ll give this job a try. But one thing I don’t want to do is destroy my back, so I’ll see how the first week goes then I’ll determine if this job is worth it.
It’s manual labor but it’s an easy job
This was my 1st driving job 17 years ago & I tell you this was a light route for the camera. Also I don’t know how long he’s been running for FedEx but grabbing boxes with no gloves all day will have your hands drier than a cold Popeyes biscuit & heavier ones will slip out of your hands😮💨
5:16 I like getting dollies with that set of top wheels. you can roll it on four wheels while stacking up a ton of boxes on it. At the same time I hate those dollies that have a small platform or whatever its called - on the bottom - like the one you have. It also looks bent. BS.
True
So I got a question, is Ground the part of fed ex that delivers the bigger and heavier packages? Like TV screens and refrigerators???
Yes
@@Wjoethomasok thanks
What’s your average package delivery for the day? How many packages?
This was a bulk route and had about 280 packages , 12 stops
im just here to see why it takes a package like 7 hours to arrive when it claims "out for delivery"
No AC in the truck? WTF
How do you load your packages on your truck and know which one is the correct package for the stop ? Other than searching through hundreds of packages at each stop
All’ of the packages are organized by shelf labels
Not a lot of packages. Good thing you have an easy route
Boy had a super light ass day looks like he did 40 stops 😂
Never run dude, and use the hand truck, or you're gonna burn out (or hurt yourself) before long.
yea you tell him mister man
Always run.
I won't drag my feet but I'm also not running.
I am interested on what you bring for lunch/ how much and how you store it
Do the workers actually get off at the time they’re suppose to?
I think there is another way is fedex could buy the house in central each city for make the warehouse for customers pickup by themselves or returning stuffs with heavy stuffs FedEx servers customers home with more charge on fees . Save car, gas other things .just need one or two stay there just take right order numbers from customers. You don’t worry of loss stuffs in the front home ‘s porch . Customers just come there put right numbers of order on screen or talk automatically stuffs come out from inside . I think less people don’t like come poste to pick up stuffs because get lined and processing long time.
My recruiter sent me thiw video saying i should watch this as a get to know how ots like to work as a fedex driver lol
That’s a good recruiter ;)
@@Wjoethomashello, I have a question. So I've been waiting on a package since the 28th and yesterday I made a claim against my nearest FedEx because of how long it's taking to deliver my package. So I was wondering since I made a claim can they keep my item I purchased or do they still have to deliver it? Thanks
Awesome no benefits , bad pay, no insurance. UPS drivers get paid how much?
How much?
Bro just missed a picture so he decided to take a pic from the truck.
My experience working for FEDEX in Colorado was not good at all. They only trained me for two days and then left me by myself. There were days I would get stuck in the mud or in the snow. It would take them anywhere from 2-4 hours to send someone to pull me out. I would arrive at the facility around 7:15 Am and wouldn’t get off until 8pm-9pm. Not a job for the weak to say the least and they pay is definitely not worth it.
How much were they paying you ??
@@Giantjolly they were paying me 200 a day so it was like 160 after taxes.
I prefer to scan in the truck in case theres multiple packages
I have a package that hasn't been updated in 2 days, si I came to see why lmao
Been there done that...too much like hard work for me...moved onto linehaul
Actually that dolly had two small wheels to function as a hand truck. He didn't have fumble. He didn't know how to use his dolly.
