Ppl can have different experiences regarding video games, for me, i turned the addiction into opportunity. I had to get into med school so i decided since that specific video game was the only thing i cared about, i wont play it unless i do good on the exam. And that gave me the motivation and drive to push through tough times just so i could play it stress-free after the exam. And i did exactly that. And i did get into med school. And not only that, the game helped me learn a lot of things that have shaped me into the person i am today. It might seem ridiculous to you, but it (the video game addiction) was one of the best things that had happened to me.
I used to be addicted to League of Legends, but luckily I got out of it before I saw significant progress in my skill level. My exit was forced because I no longer had my computer. After spending a lot of time watching professional players to make up for the time lost due to my computer breakdown, I started to feel that games were pointless, and I eventually quit them. However, it took a long time because I couldn’t find something to fill my life with that quickly. It was really hard, and it definitely required effort, but now I live a much better life, Alhamdulliah
I used to being addicted to vid games as well but Idk exactly what happened but when I got 14 y/o I just stopped enjoying them as much as I used to so I stopped. Planned out my life (with 14 haha yes) and learned that my plan wasn’t going to work because I chose a different educational path. So, work for nothing haha but in those moments I grinded for things I felt that it was helping me and was fun as well Problem, I nowadays struggle with watching addiction like YT and so on Not cool but maybe a bit better than being addicted to two or more detrimental things at the same time 😂
Yo dude I remember watching your videos when you first started. Idk if Jesus has been knocking at your heart but you should accept God’s calling on your life. He loves you and is calling you
