Oh, I love the midnight blooms fabric. I wouldn't be able to leave that one behind without taking some. It's going to be gorgeous for your dress. The others are lovely, as well, but that one really grabs me. Looking forward to your makes, and I hope you have a fabulous visit with your family. It's so hard to make time for things like that, and it's wonderful that you're all going to be together.

Good luck with the holiday sewing plans. I recently took my machine on my seaside holiday with lots of plans of what to sew but in the end I only managed one afternoon as the distractions were just too much 😂. Have a lovely time.

That stella hoody is going to look amazing 🤩 ooo yes I think the stella would look great with ribbing on the cuffs and bottom. I have made the stella once and am definitely considering doing that with the next 2 I have planned 🤩

Hi there's loads to do here, depending on the age of nephews there's the oceanarium on the sea front, and crazy golf or towards Southampton there is paultons park. Moors valley is lovely for walking but has play areas, and kingston lacey, has a house and gardens. Or just go into the new forest to burle y or lyndhurst. There is also a small but nice airplane museum next to hurn airport, swanage is also nice and if you go across the link ferry at poole makes it fun.

Stella hoodie is a nice make, sleeves a bit slim. Ok if you have fabric with a stretch but mine didn’t 🙄Have a lovely break in Bournemouth with your family❤

I enjoy taking my sewing machine with me on holidays. I used to travel for work and would often have my machine to work on things in the evenings at the hotel. Iduring the day I would usually leave the work-in-progress out (often quilts) because it was a nuisance to put it all away just to take it out again. I often received sweet notes from teh chambermaids saying how pretty the fabric was, etc. Made me smile. Have a wonderful time on your family get-away.
That just made me cry, my husband is nearly 89, Ime 73, so thought of your mum. Have a lovely time, and make some lovely memories.💕xx
