Aahh love your patinas - I really need to make one. Love the fabric of your second one and the peek a boo label ❤ Your final version is gorgeous - I often have to do that with tops, smaller across the shoulders and out to normal size from bust down ❤
Thank you Angela. Yes the felicity fabric cotton was delightful to use and is very pretty. I need to get into the habit of grading in at the top. I just get overexcited to start sewing 🤦🏼♀️❤️
Oh that’s an idea, I love the Donny sleeves. I may do one without the collar when I try grading between sizes for a better shoulder fit . Thanks for watching 🤩
Your vlog was timed just right for me. I have the pattern and yesterd❤ay I bought some lovely Brodiere Anglais in my local Boyes to make it. Thank you for all your tips.
Thank you for doing collab with me, Sam. I absolutely love your blouse. BTW, the fabric grew for sure 😂 I had a good few adventures with "growing pains" while making it.
Hi Sam, I love the blouses. They look great. I have a little trick that I use for lower necklines to make them more wearable. I take an oblong scrap of material and hem one of the long edges. I then pin it to my bra before putting on the blouse I want to wear, and it looks like I have a cami underneath, but without the heat 😊 you can style up these small bits of fabric with lace hems and allsorts and they are a good scrap buster 😊
We used to call these modesty panels, and you can still BUY them! Using the scrap fabric is a great idea. I have a new bra that lifts everything much higher, and I suddenly need these to wear existing garments.
Thank you, Sam. Great video explaining the ups and downs of the Patina. I want to make one so this was very helpful. I love all three of yours. Did you make the adorable astronaut doll on your peg board?
Hi there, Thank you, glad it was helpful. Alas no, the astronaut doll was done for me by a friend x She loves to be amongst all the fun of my sewing room x
Hi Sam it must be pretty hot there! The blouses look beautiful. I have not made it yet but I'm sure I will make some of the same mistakes everyone else is making😅.
What a gorgeous make Sam! I love the fabric and the colours look good on you, perfect for the Autumn.❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Lovely blouse.🎉

I absolutely adore that fabric and it is perfect with the Patina blouse. Good job, Sam.
@@carolwampler1764 Thank you 🤩
Love it. I would have chosen those buttons 😍
So many beautiful buttons, sew little time x
I used the Donny Shirt sleeves in one of mine and also did one without the collar. It's my go to shirt pattern x

Another lovely make Sam and that colour mix in the fabric really does suit your complexion 😊

That’s a lovely Patina, do you know how much fabric you used for this? Thank you for sharing. ❤❤

Hi Zelda
It’s much cooler now, we just had a few freaky hot days.
It’s a lovely blouse pattern to try 🤩❤️
Beautiful- on my list. Does it fit over your head? I hate doing buttons so would do faux ones if I could.
Yes you could definitely get away with sewing up the button placket xx
