Well I've had a tab open with my pound fabrics basket for ages and you've definitely persuaded me to pull the trigger on the feathers jersey lol!
One thing I like about their website is that the things in your cart don't disappear if you don't leave it for a couple of months.
I also am a sucker for linen but I'd definitely toile such a special dress if you haven't made it before. The skirt looks standard enough but definitely the bodice, can't wait to see your finished pieces!

I try really hard to buy from other places but I always go back to Pune fabrics. Their website is user friendly and people post what they make. Can’t beat a simple non pushy website.
Top half is toiled. Just have to practise invisible zippers now and then get cutting!

Your new fabrics are beautiful! Thanks for sharing the excitement of unboxing them. I dearly wish we had a Pound Fabrics state-side.

Pros and cons to being both sides of the Atlantic. I’d love to do a fabric trip to the US 🥰

The Noelle dress is just gorgeous - I love green and it should really suit your colouring. Good luck 👍

Better slow and steady than rushing and not getting it right. I’ve been slowing down my sewing this year and I’m definitely getting better results.

That’s good to hear. It’s hard to slow down but when the fabric is expensive I definitely don’t want to ruin it

I have a few of the ones you ordered 😁💕. I have the black colour way of the tropical fabric and I made it into a full length wrap skirt with ruffle. It has lovely drape but is a bit synthetic. But I don't notice when I wear it, only when I hold it. I also have the blue, cream and gold. Pound fabrics are very good. I have only had one disappointing fabric from them all the rest have been amazing.

The tropical fabric feels so much nicer now it’s been through the washer and dryer. I’m so excited to flounce around in a summer dress. It’s gets too bloody hot now during summer.

Love the linen. Is this for the dress with the invisible zip? Can’t wait to see it made up. I have started a faux wrap dress in a green and white seersucker. I’m going to look like a mould Xmas candy can!😂

Oh my gosh no that’s funny 🤣 you will look like spring! Like snowdrops maybe 🤔
Yeah it’s for the invisible zipper dress. I suspect it won’t be done for Thursday as we are currently Ill again but possibly for the end of the month for my son’s birthday party. Less pressure then. Ironing 4m of linen blend is a pain!
I like the faux wrap look. Think it’s really flattering.
