    Cool little "hack/trick" I saw on another video. Before you put the bleed hose on, take the enclosed side of the wrench and put it on the nut before putting on the hose. Much easier that way, if you have room.

    Hey man, I’m having trouble with this new rear break caliper assembly on my pit bike and no matter how many times I bleed it the piston is not touching the break pad to grab the disk. If you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated...

      What I’ve done in the past was remove the brake pedal and pump by pushing with my hand so that it pumps harder vs being limited by how far the brake pedal goes down. If nothing then try bleeding it starting from the hose vs the nipple. Then once you get brake fluid goes through there then move it down to the nipple
      Hope that helps

    I bought a new rear brake kit for my pit bike but we had to let some of the liquid out to release some pressure to get the master to fit because the master rod was too long and now it won’t build pressure again.

      Have you bled your oil all the way through? The oil should be clean. When it gets that dirty it acts up. That could be the issue. I would bleed your brake until it’s all clear. Then if that doesn’t do it, take the brake caliper off (don’t unscrew the brake line or you’ll have to redo bleeding for getting air in system) then try to get it cleaned out real nice. Maybe get some wd-40 around everything so it is lubed up and any rust broken free. Could just be real dirty and maybe some rust causing it to get stuck. If you do this don’t get Wd-40 on the brake pads themselves.

      Have you checked your pads and try adjust the bleed nipple literally the second you feel it come loose and the tiniest bit of fluid comes out then top it all the way up and pump few times and every time you let the brake off , close the valve . Do this multiple times and should work ( only open the bleed valve the tiniest bit mate)

    • @slavsquad
      @slavsquad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. You might have to bleed from the master cylinder first and then move back towards the caliper
      I’ve noticed in the past that the rod to the master cylinder doesn’t push in all the way. So make sure it’s actually pumping all the way. But you don’t need to push super hard.

    Hey i have problem with my brakes i have fluid in cylinder but the fluid is not coming in the rear brake

    • @slavsquad
      @slavsquad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Take it step by step. Since it’s not coming out the break start bleeding from the beginning of the brake line that screws into the cylinder where the fluid is in. If you can’t get fluid to come out from there then chances are your cylinder isn’t pumping. Also it could be an air leak in the brake system. If you get brake fluid to come out of there the. Move down to the bottom of the brake line where it’s screws into the brake caliper. And keeping working your way tell you have fluid coming out the bleed bolt that I use to bleed the air out in this video
