About synthetic oil you can put both convetional and synthetic oil. It only depends if the new oil contains the wet clutch aditive and has the correct viscosity rating. The clutch slip accures in a miss adjusted clutch lever or worn clutchpads. + these engines have oil filters but they are behind the clutch cover and it looks like a fine strainer

I got a ssr 189 and a lot of the stuff is the same in terms of maintaining it. Not sure if u did but I always check the gap before putting in a spark plug and every time I take mine out to check it. Very important to have the gap where it should be. I kind of baby my bike and I don’t really ride it hard unless I’m doing tough trails or some jumps, but usually I take it easy. That being said I’m actually able to stretch out my maintenance on the air filter, oil, chain tension etc. Also I usually just eyeball the oil and once it’s more black than clear yellow I change it. One thing I absolutely hate about the ssr is that there are no oil filters. Like seriously wtf, if any metal particles are in that oil it will seriously wear out your clutch and piston, and I don’t plan on ever replacing either of those things on my bike. But honestly the bike has already lasted me 4 years and I still feel like the engine is brand new. The way I see it is treat your bike like u want it for a long time, not a fun time. And of course pin it occasionally!

I used car oil (standard oil) in a few of my motorcycle engines. And you could not tell a single difference between motorcycle oil. I looked at the label of motorcycle oil and it says that it has wet clutch protection but yet regular oil worked fine, no clutch slip or chatter so I don't know how it would get burnt out. And also clutch plates for these Chinese vehicles are only like $8 but I do know that there is a difference between engine oil and gear oil so maybe motorcycle oil is some kind of a mix to protect the transmission

I have a 2008 SSR 110. I bought two 2017 SSR 125'S but they sucked compared to the 08' 110. The fork angle on the newer SSR made me feel like a monkey riding a tricycle and they just couldn't compete with the 110 power wise. The 110 has to have a few thousand hours on it and the engine is still sealed original never been open for any reason. I have run full synthetic oil 10w40 from Amsoil in my bike since it was new but the bottle says it has friction modifiers in it. It had probably 100 oil changes since I got it and it runs flawless after 13 years of constant use.
Also your comment and many others about it being a Chinese bike so therefore it must not be good or you should maintenance it more makes me laugh. Its almost like people think the OG Honda pit bikes were made in America or something im 99% sure they were made in Japan and the engines came from China (japans neighbor) since the 60s especially being that Honda is now public about their bikes being assembled and partially manufactured in china since 2001. Its such a simple design I dont understand how it would be possible to screw it up even if the original honda motors were made in japan the design is to simple to not perfect it especially when japan is right next door... If you ask me ill take a SSR any day over a Honda when we are talking pit bikes.
