I have a 19 bighorn sport package and I think you’re rite. I also think you should get the black off of your rims or buy chrome wheels. It would bring your truck to that look where the chromed amount collaborates with the painted amount imo. Glad you kept the truck and appreciate your info
You know my truck came with the polished aluminum wheels, and I think they matched really well to the rest of the truck, however, my wife loved the black wheels, and her dad just picked up someone’s take offs for cheap and was willing to swap me. So I’m stuck with black for now. I don’t mind the black though. My steps help tie the black in to the other black accents on the truck like the mirror bases, and the black parts of the bumper, so they don’t look too out of place.
I was struggling to buy a truck during Covid, everything was extremely over priced or gone off the lot. I found my truck and at the time I thought I was settling with the chrome also and even thought of doing a chrome delete. well fast forward a couple years and the chrome grew on me as well.
my truck has painted grill and bumbers. the paint is to thin. if you ever get water spots on your crome try windex. used to work great on my old 2012 chevy
Hi Gavin, I love chrome on a vehicle, it makes the vehicle come alive and stand out! 😉 😙 Remember back in the 50's and 60's all the kids would hang out at a soda shop drive in and show off their cars and their dates, every car had beautiful gorgeous chrome on it, WOW, how I miss that, that was some good clean fun! 🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘 Having a hamburger🍔, fries 🍟and sharing a milkshake with your boyfriend / girlfriend was really the cats meow🐱! The times, the cars, just everything was just a better time to be living. The only thing that was bad was smoking cigarettes and wearing a black leather jacket and having a duck tail haircut, yes, those were the days!
