awesome video! I use to carp fish a lot but past few years been focusing more on catfish and other species. Carp are the most fun catching though not going to lie lol 5lb carp fights like a 20 lb catfish. Im hoping to get out and do some carp fishing soon before ol man winter hits us hard lol
I’ve been fishing with a hair rig/method feeder setup for years. I have always thought that it was the “superior method” and that it just couldn’t get better. Recently got into pay lake fishing and now I prefer an average pay lake rig to a hair rig. I feel hair rigs rely too much on the hook bait itself, rather than the pack bait. I’ve been learning baits that work really well, and this has rendered using a hair useless. Anyway, great video as always, can’t wait to see more!
Hey buddy, I’m having a hard time casting pack baits far. Can you give me any advice please. Trying to cast farther at paylakes. @@carpandcatfishbaitstipstri7309
Do you have to put the bead over the top of the eye of the hook or can you put the Hook end around the bead with line on hook? What size hooks do you use? Love all the videos.
You can put a bead but you don’t have to I use like a size 6 bait holder hook sometimes I use the bead it protects the knot from being undone/damaged by the weight sliding back and forth on the line
I like packing around the hook for a few reasons. If you fish a weedy lake then your hook is protected and can gently land on top a weed bed. Less likely to get the hook tie tangled up around the line with the lead and all. No need for PVA nuggets or anti-tangle sleeves here.
How do you think this would work in a pond with lots of turtles? I put some corn on a hook and threw it in. Found out pretty quick why that's a bad idea lol

I may have to try packing the bait around the hook like that. Always assumed it would fly off easily, but I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

I pack around the hook because I think it's hidden more stealth. And bait and pick up is right in the middle of the pile
Can you fish the pink star bead with a hair rig or it is too big
Love the music. Who is it?
Its 2pac

Turtles eat anything unfortunately
I have been using the strawberry panco pack bait but it seems to be taking a little to long to break down any suggestions
Are you using the recipe I posted with soybean meal in it. That bait breaks rather quickly
Thanks I will have to try this out and great videos
nice one
