I just want to say thank for posting this video I been using pva bags for about 2 months now and switched over to this recipe.I just landed my new pb 25-08 lb .The mix stays solid when casting and doesn't break down.I made a ball and left it by the shore to watch it break down its it doesn't break down fast like other pack baits I have seen made. Thanks again for sharing this.Tight lines
I like this very much. I normally toss in some hominy and all the Jello. I have found the more corn and hominy, the more action but I tend to fish them in lakes not rivers. I will try adding the grits too. Good info, can't wait to catch some. Fish on!
I've made mine like that exactly and mine seems to come out too wet almost like it doesn't want to break real well when I put it in water got any suggestions? I've tried the old fashioned oats and I've tried the 5-minute and they both seem to come out too wet. Love all the videos great job.
What exactly does the Crips do does it help keep it tighter or what is the purpose of the grips and could you use soybean meal instead thanks love all your videos
I'll be stealing this.. Hey question about those tiger nuts.. after opening do they need to be kept in the refrigerator or is a cool room in the house ok?
Really appreciate your channel I find it very informative. My question evolves around the Quick 1 minute Oates. Seem everyone else say don't use and use Old fashion Oats. Could you please explain why you use the Quick 1 minute Oates instead? Thanks and I will keep watching. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for your support. Personally, I don’t think there is much of a difference. I’ve used old fashioned oats plenty of times and have caught great carp. I only use the 1 minute because it’s smaller - really just a preference for me

I was carp fishing today and had two pack baits with me, this one was one of them, and it did catch fish!
Awesome

good luck out there man!
Great info from the Carp Whisperer. Stripers are trickling in the river. If wind ever stops it should be good fishing for a few weeks. 👍🏻
thanks my friend

Add more oats, panko, or grits
Cool idea. Simple.
Watching from Australia.
Thanks for watching
I know this is an older video but I’m using tomorrow since I’m gonna try for winter carp.
Hope you get into some. Good luck

It creates a good texture and sticks well to the feeder and has a good break down time
If you put too much grits would it keep it from breaking down? Love all the videos. Thank you.

The creme style corn what is the creme and what is it made of and what's in the creme bec I don't think they do creme style corn in shops in england
The cream style corn is pretty much corn that is blended or broken down. It’s good to use in method mix or pack bait
Thanks for the helpful info
Thanks for watching!
Does the 5-minute grits make it hold together longer or break apart faster? Love all the videos keep up the good work
Haven’t noticed a difference between the 5 minute and 1 minute. Both work great. Thanks for watching

I have hemp that I wanna use is it alright in the oat mix or would you not recommend it?
Yes hemp is also good 👍
Will this work in cooler weather
Yes
Can i use cherry flavour jello?
Absolutely
What type of spincast reel do you use, looks like a dawia regal bite n run?????
daiwa black widow. very similar to the regal bite
What can you use instead of grits?
Grits not needed. Can just use oats and corn. Can also add bird seed which is effective
Can it be any porridge oats?
Yes
You sound identical to Chatt Catts fishing
He’s my bro
This
But not jello flavoring. Not sure why. But always catch more without it.
It’s not required. I’ve also caught fish without it as well
