I would love to fish together sometime. Just started a new job, so may have to wait until next month. I recently fished Desota, but I've never fished Zorinsky. Lets keep in touch.
I heard about theses and found one on the bank. I used old fashioned oatmeal and suger with a worm at the end. Caught 6 carp, 1 25lbs pb, and 6 catfish with 1 pole. I ordered 20 of those feeders next day. I love them!! Now i have a reason to buy a landing net. Lol
I thought you are supposed to use a bobber with that cage feeder so the pack bait gets dispersed in the water, makes a big cloud in the water and the fish find the corn on the hook below. I'm not sure about that because I have never tried the method cage feeder.
In my opinion the hair rig for me is a must now. I say this because if I put corn on the hook the bluegills strip me bare, and I sit with no bait on hook. bluegills can not (or have not) taken my boiled field corn off a hair rig. I believe with the method cage you have a nice pile of chum around your bait and it makes it more easy to attract carp. So they will find a pile of chum easier than 2-3 pieces of corn. I also try to cast to the same area, so each time I cast I am chumming that general area.. 99% of the time when I reel in my bait it is still on the hair, with corn on the hook I get stripped all the time. Yes the feeder does increase the chance of snagging. where I tend to fish is very sandy so I don't lose a lot, I lose them when there is a tree or something. When I reel in I always reel in with my rod tip high to prevent snagging on bottom. I don't lose many, but I would be lying if I said I don't lose any. I order them in bulk, it can range from $1.50 to $2.00 a piece, much cheaper than the method leads that can cost $4 to 5.
Great job explaining method feeder. Local guy from North O who loves to fish. Been a fan for a while. Keep up the good work.
I am from North O, raised and born. We should meet one day. I fish Zorinsky and Desoto Bend Alot... the river also

Very cool! I have about 1000 of them, but I do sell them.. LOL
The end with the heavier end goes towards the hook. It does make a difference.
All of mine are the same, I will check this. I will surely check this! Thanks!
I will be buying some of those, great video man, new subscriber from Northern IL🇺🇸

Thats a nice method feeder. You say it slides up & down the line.

@Big Muddy Fishing great thanks! Been looking to get one. You like that one? New subscriber here from KY
Good looking rod stand you got there where can I buy one ?
I got mine from big carp tackle (bigcarptackle.com)
What gets more fish?
Method cage plus hair rig.
Or hair rig on its own.
Does a Method feeder increase snag risk ?

About time buddy
I always appreciate your comments. We have a lot in common.. time to get rid of that green sweater brother..
Michael are we at the end of the age .?
For that green sweater he has yes!! Time to retire that thing.. LOL
Nice video, used it a lot, but now use boillies
I use this will boilies also, but I prefer corn. I am experimenting with PVA bags now, and a no roll sinker, but this is my 95% rig!
Good job 👍
Thanks I appreciate it!!!!!!!
Can you put the mixture in the comments please
