From the little we have finally gotten to see of Nick it doesn’t seem like he’s fully evil, just kinda obsessed with his shows and maybe a bit confused. But by the time of the original game that may had changed since it had been years, but we also never saw him in the original besides the shadow so who knows.
I was thinking that too. Like, he clearly has moodswings and is referring to the player as "father." Maybe Nick does kind of like Own (or, at the very least, doesn't want to kill him), but can't control himself.

I definitely think that Nick could have been a victim of one of her experiments, but if he wasn’t I could see him being against Riley and possibly Mortimer but I think it’s more likely he specifically hates Riley’s experiments instead of being fully against Mortimer since he never got along with Riley specifically according to the posters.
Nik Nak sounds just as I imagined he would. The level of creepiness just skyrocketed with this game. The fact that hiding alone is not enough to save your skin, that really does raise the stakes.

“Riley?! What did you do?!” I think he’s rose to one of my favorite characters from this game The gameplay needs some tweaking since there seems to be some glitching with the jumpscares, which can be pretty weak. The ambiance is great and it’s got good atmosphere and I hope they keep that aspect from the first game here
Agree with you there. Especially the "Nick got you" lines at the end of the jumpscares. They look unbelievable tacky and cheap. But his voice and animations are spot-on.

It's interesting that Nick Nack seems reluctant to actually kill you. This might explain why he only attacks you in the locker if you fail the quick time events and he's unable to deny that he saw you hiding .
Anyone else curious as to why Knick Knack is humming "The Hall of the Mountain King"? While it's public domain, it feels like a deliberate choice somehow. The melody could've been anything, even the Mortimer's Handymen theme song. So why this song?
I mean, the big band section of the tune is representing the Trolls chasing down the Protagonist, and with Nick Knacks Puppeteer being big hulkish man, seems fitting
The death scenes are giving me Batman: Arkham vibes, and I love it! (Fitting since Mortimer is voiced by Batman: Telltale's John Doe/Joker!) Nick Nack certainly seems like a terrifying and menacing boss puppet; it's getting me excited to see what's going to happen with the other puppets' sections! Maybe Daisy Danger will have you collect ingredients for her pies and chase you down if you grab them in the wrong order. Maybe Riley will have Owen run around and do tests while Rosco is an ever-present threat and will attack if you fail so many times. And who knows what Mortimer will do? I'm so excited to see how this all will play out!
One of my favorite things about hello puppets is the voice acting, mortimer's gentleman attitude and riley's pure psychopathic personality are really expressed well through their voice acting, also the rhyming, writing characters who only speak in rhymes is harder than you think

@@freakystories141 I decided to look into it more and turns out Daisy isn't actually in game. Mortimer refers to the purple thing as Kathy. Nick Nack and Daisy were both cut off due to not having enough time to add them both.

i think the character were playing might be Owen, you know the creator of all the puppets, since nick nack always calls him farther. and as i mentioned before, when the puppets came to life they acted like how they would on the show, but overtime their personality became more twisted, most likely nick nack being hated due to his flamboyant personality and always artistic behavior might drive the other characters up the wall
I’m so excited this series is back! Also, I think I know what was going on with the “duplicates” you were getting. From what I’ve seen from watching other’s runs of the demo, Nick Nack can request different types of audiences at the beginning of the demo. In yours he was specifying fancy dress with top hats. The cut-outs you have to collect for the end puzzle can have various different outfits. Not all of them have the top hat you needed, so when you grabbed those ones they didn’t count towards the 6 you needed to collect. Basically it seems like you just need to find the ones with the appropriate outfit and ignore the others. Hope that helps!

The final puzzle with the puppets requires no similar facial features. Say one row has a smiling face, there cannot be another smile. Say it has large front teeth, there cannot be another card with large front teeth and so on. Read the top right as well to stop yourself from doing unnecessary puzzles. He asked for only top hats so examine the felts and make sure they're wearing a top hat. If they arent wearing one then don't bother doing the puzzle. Also gotta mention that swapping out audience members is a bug. You shouldn't be able to replace the audience. That's it, hope this helps.

I kinda think that's how it will stay by nick nacks behavior he reminds me of the youngest or middle kid, mainly the youngest. They could behave like how they were made so Mortimer is the oldest design i think and such the oldest child and leader when their "parent" isn't around, since at very least Nicknack sees Owen as his father. The hunting down after missing a show is like a tantrum which again is more a youngest child thing.

@@Code_Null ya I meant more in behavioral patterns of the puppets after the voodoo spell, since they aren't how Owen designed how they should be played, plus nicknack and ryile being at odds with each other after the spell or even the sibling blames cards but at the same time those are things they could have picked up before their hostile take over with how nicknack is I feel he would have picked up more of those traits plus they might have seen kids tantruming since kids were allowed on set and that could have led to him basically doing tantrums to get his way with Owen since he seemed to stay mainly the same way he was designed. Do what I want or else type behavior to make Owen stop focusing on how wrong the spell went and more on him. I know my little cousins throw tantrums to get attention and nicknack's behavior in the game reminds me of that. Either he picked it up from surroundings or that's how the spell twisted him like how riyle like mad science and that stuff when she was a friendly normal nerdy scientist

Awesome! That is terrifying! I am so glad that they made it PC! I can play this one. Nick Nack doesn't seem very evil. He's confused and warped, because the spell wasn't done right. But he also wants Owen to watch him, etc. And calls him Father. He's playing a extreme game. It's so sad. Poor Puppets, Puppeteers, poor everyone. The spell must have gone really wrong. If it went right the result would be good.

Heres a huge helping tip: Leave lockers near by unfinished puzzles open until you need to hide in them. 2nd: Make sure nothing is near or make sure to trick nick nack into thinking your not there via hiding in a locker as he chases you. Thats all i have for now.

Theory: Owen and Nick work together to take down Riley and Mortimer but end up getting defeated that’s why Nick never shows up and Owen is found severed in half

this isn’t really important but theres a tip for when you’re collecting then audience it says he only wants ones with top hats so when you find puzzles look inside the box to see if they’re wearing one if not then just skip it

Oh crap dude I really wanted to see Nick Nack as my Personal Favorite Hello Puppets character in the series plus I am also a Artist as well but this is too much excitement for me to know plus when I first watched it it from this channel because of better stories and theories about anything horror related like this so this is too cool
Is it just me or just that the death scenes were remind me of the Arkham series death scenes and if nick nack is acting a villain from the Arkham series he would have been the joker in those death scenes and when Scott had said that don't fall into his Artiste thing fool anyone that he's a Cold Blooded Maniac
Heres a huge helping tip: Leave lockers near by unfinished puzzles open until you need to hide in them.
2nd: Make sure nothing is near or make sure to trick nick nack into thinking your not there via hiding in a locker as he chases you. Thats all i have for now.

I'm sorry but NickNack going "Uh oh I think I broke him..um....err....Railey what have you done!" made me laugh like it is such a sibling thing to do. Like one sib breaks something and just blames the other sib even if they were caught breaking it's so realistic.
Theory: Owen and Nick work together to take down Riley and Mortimer but end up getting defeated that’s why Nick never shows up and Owen is found severed in half
