That ammount of Naval vessels and many other military equipment was the result of FDR rebuilding and preparing the United States for war which was inevitable and also to supplie the British in their fight against Germany that would benifit the US financially and economically. FDR got JFK’d in Man in the high castle which he was followed by two other presidents who were just 2 extra Hoovers and mostly dint do anything aside from making their own “New deal” policy which both ended up as failures and kept the United States at midst of the depression to which there still wouldn’t be a Lend lease act that would help the Soviets and the UK to fight on, yes they will last a very long time but they will eventually drain their supplies and reasources fighting the Nazis.
Hitler in Man in the High castle seemed to have more intelligence than our Hitler, to which he might never thought nuclear power as “jewish science” and could’ve called up Einstien for his nuclear program (to which our Hitler would obviously never do) to secure chances of victory.

Even if the US lost 3 entire Pacific fleets, their combined industrial and economic might was such comparatively speaking, that they could have been easily rebuilt before Japan even touched the mainland. We've never even approached a scenario where the USA entered "total mobilisation". The Man in the High Castle is a nice fictional series but very improbable. The North African theater was unsalvageable even with Rommel leading it, that should tell you something. Admiral Yamamoto said it best: "We have 6 months." He was probably the only man who truly knew what he was talking about in regards to the Axis view of America. Your video was interesting to watch though, thumbs up for the great work.

@@brettvogel8418 You seem to think that the lack of a fleet would make this a road trip for Japan. Think again. There would have been many important strategic bases to take along the way, most notably Guam and Midway. Japan was over extended already and suffering from a desperate lack of crude oil from prolonged US embargo. That was the whole reason for the Pearl Harbor "gamble" in the first place. Taking into account it's own losses, the need for repairs... taking these, taking Hawaii etc. would not have been that easy. The main point to remember is that the US could replace their losses fairly easy and somewhat quickly. Japan could not. It lacked oil, it lacked steel and coal, etc. all which America had in abundance. It's industry could simply not compete. I can't link sources here, youtube doesn't like links sadly, but the by the end of the war, the US could produce a carrier every month or so. It owned 70% of the world tonnage in fleet capacity and about 50% (yes, 50) of the industrial capacity of the entire planet at the time. Each defeat would have ramped up war support considerably among the American public. It would no longer be perceived as a "foreign" conflict but a fight for survival at that point. Japan simply never had any hope to invade the continental United States. Even their most optimistic previsions simply seeked to inflict enough casualties to discourage the american public from supporting further interventions abroad and seek a negotiated settlement. @@brettvogel8418 Don't get me wrong, it would be. Just not a crippling one. I think you are undervaluating one factor: I didn't specify what state the Japanese fleet would be in after those 3 battles. Even with some kind of miracle scenario, I don't see it as being combat worthy after those engagements. Those deficiencies I mentionned would affect repair capacity as well. More repairs mean more time for the US to recover. Besides even if all the stars aligned and a litteral divine wind took down those fleets for them, no Japanese admiral would just rush to the mainland trying to invade a country of a 130 million people with at least 6 times it's own industrial capacity while leaving pockets of resistance behind that could threaten it's own supply lines. It would be suicide. It was never their objective in the first place anyway. I mean even with the situation reversed, complete mastery of the sea and air dominance, 2 nuclear bombs were dropped instead of attempting to invade. That should tell you something about the difficulty and complexity of launching such an operation sucessfully.

The basic fallacy about this series is that it's based on a false premise: that the Nazis and Japanese desired and had the means to conquer the world. The Nazis did not think in Geo-political terms but Eurocentrically. Hitler thought in World War One terms, seeing the conquest of France and Russia as his ultimate war aims. The Nazis had no workable plan for even invading England and put no real energy into it. Nor did they have a navy capable of crossing the Atlantic against an America with three times their industrial plant. Hitler feared America. Similarly the Japanese limited their war aims to co-opting southeast Asia and China into their Greater Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere. They had no wish to go after America and could not support a cross-Pacific invasion of America with their minuscule industrial plant, barely 10% of America's. World conquest by the Nazis and Japan was simply not possible given the political-economy of their nations. But it's a nice and entertaining fantasy, which is what Hollywood is all about.

It's pretty well done, but I think there's something to keep in mind: the vast majority of experts say that if the Germans had reached the Suez Canal, closing it to the Allies, that was the moment when Spain would have entered the Axis, because otherwise That way the Mediterranean was closed for the Allies, leaving it like a lake for the Axis.
In fact, the then Chief of Operations of the General Staff of the Spanish Navy, Luis Carrero Blanco (who would later be known as Franco's right hand man, being the first president appointed by Franco after establishing the separation of the posts of Head of State and President of the Government), wrote in 1940 the report that convinced Franco to leave Spain out of WW2. However, in that same report he recommended Spain's entry into the war as soon as the Germans reached Suez, since then Spanish neutrality would be viewed with suspicion, both by the Axis and by the Allies, and both sides had already shown they had no scruples in violating the neutrality of third countries (We all know how the Axis acted throughout WW2, but the Allies aren't innocent either: the German invasion of Norway was brought forward in response to the leaks of Allied plans to invade Norway to prevent the obtaining of Swedish iron ore, and in 1941 the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran happened)
Therefore, the entry of Spain would not have had to wait so many months (from the German arrival at Suez in October 1942 until the Spanish entry into the war, according to the video, in May 1943), which would have caused a British reaction, at least with a landing attempt on the Canaries, the Azores, Cape Verde, Madeira and the Gulf of Guinea islands (the Spanish Fernando Poo and Annobon, and the Portuguese Sao Tome and Principe) to ensure the maritime route on the African coast of the Atlantic. Probably the small and weak response of the Portuguese government to the British invasion of its Atlantic archipelagos would cause the perfect excuse for Spain to invade mainland Portugal.
On the other hand, it is most likely that Franco and many Falangist elements in his government and army took advantage of the situation to annex Portugal, and not just its African colonies. They would have also taken the opportunity to annex the Oran region of French Algeria, since 75% of the European population of that territory was of Spanish origin; and all the territories claimed at that time by the Sultanate of Morocco: the whole of Mauritania, part of French Algeria (Tindouf and Bechar) and northern Mali (including Timbuktu).
I am also surprised that the African colonies of Cameroon and Congo are not joining, with the possibility of adding what we now know as the Central African Republic.

Great analysis! I think Franco tried his best to avoid participating in a war with a weaken and devastated post-civil war population with all its fresh instability and factions. Like I get it if places like Thailand or Russia or Amazonia are neutral zones states as Thailand is just an amazing neutral zone in general, but Pakistan and parts of America? That makes no sense as there are people there and it just looks like the perfect place for a resistance group to set up shop there. Sure the author who made the book probably made them so rebel groups can have a fighting chance (because everyone should hate the Nazis and fascists) but if this actually happened then I doubt that Neutral zones like that would be made, there would probably just be puppet states and demilitarized zones

My serious Two-Cents- while this TH-cam vid is mostly realistic on how an Axis victory could/would happen; there were still some parts that I didn't think were realistic and would've gone like that, even in that alternate timeline...
For one, Portugal had a Pro-Axis AND Pro-Franco government in power when WW2 broke out and in the early years of the war it tried to sit on the sidelines and play nice with both sides, until one side started winning -and it went with the winning side in our timeline. The same scenario would likely play out in the show/book's timeline too; it would've been a Pro-Axis ally that would have backed up Spain and eventually join the war with the Axis -once the Axis was winning the overall war.
The author should've addressed the Battle of Dunkirk too; that early battle was actually a MAJOR bellwether on which way the war was going to go, and Britain winning it and being able to evacuate her troops in time -was a serious turning point in the war and insured that Britain was going to stay in the fight and gradually win; because before Dunkirk a portion of the British government was on the fence about continuing the war or opening peace negotiations with Germany -in the worst-case-scenario of France falling and the British/Allied Army getting crushed.
Yet what if an additional point of divergence also played out in this timeline; Hitler goes with Goering's advice and continues the push into northern France and either ends up outflanking and capturing (or killing) the entire trapped British/Allied Army before they could reach Dunkirk and the northern coast? That worst-case-scenario for Britain would've had a demoralizing effect on it's people; many of the best and most experienced officers of the BA, along with a third of that army and other Allied forces -would be gone, and while Britain would still have her Navy; that's still a large chunk of her army and it's most experienced officers, commanders, along with their equipment and intelligence -all gone. In addition, the French resistance would too be demoralized and formation/organization of the Free French government either would have taken longer or would not have been able to effectively function. That scenario for Britain and France, and coupled with America staying neutral and not sending over supplies -would've GREATLY weakened Britain's overall military position on land; especially in the middle east and the Mediterranean. Even if Churchill still gave a defiant 'Never Surrender' speech and got his government to press on with the war -without a strong, large army in the field; she wouldn't be able to stop Rommel in North Africa nor wouldn't have been able to easily overthrow the Iraqi Pro-Axis government and also keep Iran in line and Syria and the middle east in Allied hands; instead.
With this combined with a Japan that delays Pearl Harbor and invading the Philippines for another year and focuses solely on invading British/French colonies, hammering their shipping, and intimidating Australia and New Zealand -the bulk of the BA and her colonial forces would be tied up in defending home soil and preparing for invasion; in fact the British Navy would be the only factor stopping Germany from attempting Operation Sea Lion, and focusing the might of the Luftwaffe in Operation Barbarossa instead.
With those factors combined, they influence the other factors of particular neutral nations and powers that were sitting on the sidelines and watching events to see which way the political and military winds were going to shift in the aftermath of the fall of France; Germany crushing the Allied armies in France would likely lead to Turkey joining the Axis during or perhaps shortly before Operation Barbarossa was launched (it would depend on whether Germany diplomatically negotiated with Turkey and was patient; or instigated a Pro-Axis coup and turned Turkey into a puppet state instead), nevertheless getting Turkey into the war on the side of the Axis would've served as a springboard for Germany to seize the entire Caucuses (including the Baku oil fields) during Barbarossa AND also to invade the middle east from the north and prop up Iraq and pressure Iran to join the Axis... unless Iran had it's own Pro-Axis coup by that point as well? So indeed; in terms of tactics & strategy for WW2 overall; Dunkirk was a serious bellwether, and an Axis victory at such an event would make the scenario in this vid very, very plausible.
Still, not to tear down this author; some of the events and timeline is realistic and I agree that it would've likely happened if things turned out differently, and I give kudos to the author on that. The author is more then welcome to adapt some of what I'm saying into any new vids on these subjects as well.

Hawaii is too small to hold a large invading force that will be needed to invade the west coast and same can be said for Bermuda when trying to invade the east coast.

As a Brazilian I say that the invasion of Brazil is distorted, Getúlio Vargas, President of Brazil only sided with the allies because he was pressured by D. Roosevelt, but as he was assassinated there was never what became known as the "good neighbor policy" . Furthermore, Vargas had good relations with the Nazis, who in the course of events would probably join them. If this did not happen, in the south of Brazil there is a large number of German and Italian immigrants, who could try to wage a second war of independence in the states of Santa Catarina, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul, in addition, the south of the country was the headquarters of the Nazi party in Brazil and also the Brazilian integralist party (our fascist party) which was banned, but a coup could easily occur in the capital Rio de Janeiro with German support, as there were several followers. I don't know if Brazil's invasion of the universe is talked about much, but what I'm saying could be more likely to happen by historical facts.
