Yes, a complete set of The 🐧 Penguin, 🐱 Catwoman, and the Joker would be a epic set. As for the Riddler, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, and Mr.Freeze um.....nope. Same with Robin and Batgirl. Just not the best characters to make figures for, but a Joker and Penguin YES! Plus Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman, that's always worthwhile.

NECA is by far the better company for figures. Mattel has decent likenesses but weak articulation. Hasbro is hit and miss with everything. Plus their web site SUCKS.

NECA for me is one of the best toy manufacturers I got Dante(DMC), Kratos(God of War), Arthas, Stitches(Warcraft), 2 Eddie (Iron Maiden) figures. TOP quality Great Details truly collector pieces
When I saw the NES version I was almost thrilled to finally see an 89 Batman at 7 inch scale. I was put off by the color, but I begrudgingly bought the figure, so that I can at least get a Keaton sculpt in scale with my coable llection. I even asked the guys at the comic shop if they knew any reliable cutomizer to render the movie colors. In short I was bummed. A couple of weeks later, I founnd out about the blue ray combo. I panicked and called my comic shop to hold one for me. Unfortunately, it was only avaalable thru WB's ebay. It was out of stock, so I felt frustrated. Later I heard otr the TRU release. I jmped to the hunt. 2 weeks in three differet TRUs later I managed to score 2 w/c were the last ones on the pegs. It made my day. I got it at 6s:30 PM. It was sheer luck! Now I got one for display & one MOC as a back-up, since I also heard the horror stories of limbs snapping- off. Fortunately, mine stayed intact. Wohoo! & yes, this is my action figure for the year.

Weird that there are no Neca stamps unnder his feet? I usually use the Neca stamp check to determine if a figure is real or a knock-off but I guess that doesn't apply here and I wonder if there are other Neca figures that also don't have a Neca stamp?
I'm not worried about size but witch one should I get the hot toys or neca. Which one is more realistic..it seems like hot toys is more movie accurate but I'm not sure. Neca head sculpt seems a little off to me idk

Remember, NECA only has the rights to produce 1/4 scale Batman figures. The only reason we got this figure was because NECA exploited a loophole. They repainted the 7 inch NES Batman (which was itself scaled down from the 1/4 figure) and then offered it as a "bonus item" along with the Blu-ray.

DC then immediately announced they were starting DC Collectibles, which is essentially the same thing as DC Direct, except they'll have an online store of all their merchandise for people who can't/won't go to comic book stores.

To be fair his neck had no articulation in the film so it's actually quite accurate haha.
