Great Review Spot, I believe a couple of 1/4 figures on display in the same room as the standard 6" figures really adds to overall visual effect of a collection... if space permits that is.
I haven't heard anything about NECA doing more 7 inch DC movie figures yet. It makes me wonder if it's gonna happen at all now because I would have expected us to have heard something by now. I even e-mailed NECA asking them about it nearly two weeks ago but I haven't heard anything. I don't mind if they don't do anymore but it would be good if they did and I would prefer to know if it is or isn't going to continue and I'm sure many others would want to know this too.
Hi. Love all your reviews. I have an odd question. I am totally blind, I have no eye sight, therefore can't see the pictures/video or instructions on the box. How does the clip connect to the grapple gun and then to the belt exactly? can you describe? also, is there any way for him to store any of the equipment other than the gun on his belt? Finally, how do you get him to stand? I find if i have his arms rased and bent at the elbows,i have to move the knees 1 click back or he just simply topples over forward. Thanks for any help you can provide.
I love these figures but they're just too big for my collection, I wish they could do a 5 inch or 8 inch to get around the licensing end of production and release figures like this that way, the upcoming Turtles movie figures are gorgeous but they're just too big
I think there is a chance of us seeing this in 7 inch scale pretty soon. It would look good next to the 7 inch Joker that we got last year. I hope we see Danny DeVito Penguin and Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman get the 7 inch treatment too. Burt Ward Robin will probably get a 7 inch release to go with the Adam West Batman. I'm not sure what the situation is with Jack Nicholson's Joker. I would have loved a 7 inch version of him but Neca hasn't made a figure of him at all and neither did Mattel so I'm wondering if perhaps neither of them are licensed to make him. I'm guessing that they would have done if they were. I hope that Neca can produce a Tom Hardy Bane figure at some point.
A 'Batman Returns' version of Batman would be cool but I can't help but feel like it's going to be almost the same as the 'Batman 89' figure that we got. It will probably be the same body mould. I hope that if Neca do make it, they will find a way to make it feel like a different figure overall. Having said that, I will probably end up buying it either way. There are two versions of Penguin now. I don't know which one to go for. I like the face sculpt better on the first one but I prefer the outfit on the newer one. What do you think? I'm guessing that the first one will be the first version to get a 7 inch release and that's the only scale that I'm interested in from Neca so that's probably going to be a factor when deciding because we don't know how long Neca will continue to bring us 7 inch DC figures for.
hi someone made me a deal about this figure i can buy it with 55 dollars but it has one broken leg, is not moving only the knee on that leg does is it worth it??

I just got him on my birthday at Toys R Us 3 days ago and he looks amazing right next to my Michael Keaton Batman figure and I got the last one.

7" you mean? Mattel has a fantastic 6" Batman Begins already sculpted by the 4horsemen from the Movie Masters line
I hope NECA will do a 7-inch versions of Batman Begins, Arkham City Harley Quinn, Batman Returns Catwoman, and Batman Returns Penguin :)
