Enjoyed the comparisons, sometimes i cant believe how different generations can be so different.

Wait until we "Don't "Blink" and get Suno V4

I used Suno v. 4 today and it is great! A big improvement in the vocals, in my opinion.

The mix output from udio seems off, sounds to me like suno does a better job at compressing things. The udio vocals are super forward, where as with suno, it seems to be closer to the music. (in terms of volume)

I'm literally at the planning stages of another video and took a screenshot of your page as an example. Took a break and saw that you posted. But on the subject, Have you used both for your TH-cam channel? I'd be curious because your music is pretty consistent.

@@AiDIYTECH Just Suno, with some basic post editing, like EQ levels etc, nothing too technical. I've never tried Udio, maybe at some point.

I'm a former Suno user, but now i'm an Udio guy. Udio is good for experimenting, and i like to experiment things.

Would love to know where I'm going wrong.
I've never generated a good song on Udio. But I know it happens.

@AiDIYTECH This is just my opinion based on my experience, others may have different opinions and different experiences.
Generating songs in Suno is quite simple, fast, and straightforward. Just like the songs they generate, they are similar, simple and straightforward. And I got bored in just a few weeks.
In Udio, I need more effort, more process, more time and more patience. But the final results can satisfy my ears. Sometimes it takes less than 20 credits to make a decent song, but often it takes 50-100 credits to get a song I like.
I don't know what you did to get those tracks on Udio, but here's what I do to get songs on Udio; Write the prompt (ex. a song about a guy who is bored and angry because he keeps making bad songs using ai, angry, rock, rap rock, male vocalist.). Write one section of the lyrics (chorus/verse/intro). The prompt strength and the lyrics strength are 30%-50%, lyric timing is auto, clarity is 18%-25%. I usually use the 32s to start a clip from the chorus, expand it to the verse, then the intro. If I like the first half of the song, I'll keep extending it. If not, i'll restart the process.
      (Sorry for my bad english.)

I've yet to get a good gen with Udio. Just my experience thus far.

I haven't made a single good song. But I know you must be able to because some songs I've heard in Udio are fantastic.

I like the tools and interface in Udio, and it's a lot cleaner when it comes to distortion, but I've yet to get a gen in Udio that doesn't sound like lifeless crap compared to Suno.

I was so hopeful. All the ones I reviewed last week were fantastic. I thought it would be easy

@@AiDIYTECH Everything that I've heard out of Udio that sounded "decent" has been things like country music, light pop or jazz etc. I'm doing Nu Metal/hard rock tunes and it sounds like robotic garbage compared to what Suno comes up with. However it is very clean. And I much prefer their inpainting solution to the one Suno just added. Obviously some people somehow are getting decent sounding takes out of it, but from what I can see I would need to invest a lot more time into figuring that out than I want to.
Suno's Achille's heel for me is it bakes distortion into most all of the tunes I generate with it, and not the good kind of distortion. Some songs are so distorted by the end of them it sounds like they are being piped through a kazoo. I have wasted so many credits trying to get clean generations it's not even funny. Version 4 is supposed to be dropping soon, I am praying that part of the update is a reduction in distortion.
