- We have been blessed with another great year! It could have been a lot different with all the rain keeping our creeks high and muddy and our Louisiana sites becoming almost hunted out. But our friends kept us going with invitations to hunt their sites and we are eternally grateful. The year is behind us now and it’s time for another great “highlight” video. The format we used last year was so successful we decided to go with it again only this time we stepped up our game a little and introduced some great new music. Spike, I've had a recurring dream that started in childhood. I'm walking along a dirt road and I spot a quartz point shining in the sun in red Georgia clay. As I pull it out, I see more. 5 points total in the cache. To this day I'm searching for this spot to appear.

Super video ! Got some great laughs a long with y’all this Friday Eve . Some of those early archaic “ Gary’s” were fine. 😂. Hey y’all. Love the videos. When I can’t be out looking I just go through and watch you guys lol. Since it’s kinda winter time and the waters cold and fields are hard, I had a couple video ideas that I think would be informational and helpful. Maybe you’ve done them before, I’m not sure but the first idea is to show us your collection! Spike, randy, whoever! Just very cool to see your whole collection and maybe a few stories on them. The second video is how you guys properly dig your holes. AND what tools you guys use as well. I think it’d be very informative. Keep up the awesome work you guys are awesome

Been looking for 30 years and have found some nice stuff over the years. I live in south eastern Ky. Still searching for a Clovis. I have only found a middle of one

wow , stunning finds ! i wish i could find something , even just a flake would make my day !
that yellow unfluted oblique flaked "clovis" to me , looks like a younger paleo piece like a redstone , st marys hall or similar .i read far to many papers on american lithics as i cant seem to find enough to read on the UK stuff .
. . classic clovis bases i believe are much shallower and the flaking patterns bolder with wide percussion flaking and minor pressure retouch .according to some paper i read and no doubt cant remember properly haha ! congratulations on these finds

I grew up in Washington parish la and lived by pearl river which would flood n found arrowheads allllll the time as kids digging in a mound n when daddy plowed garden etc near bogalusa
I live in western n.c. In smoky mtns n wonder where to look cause it’s so rocky here

The size of the base must have been a log attached
Do you guys fill the holes back in or save for another day?
That depends on the site. Sites where we have control of the property we do fill in the holes and mark it off so we know what's been dug. If we are guests, in which many cases we are, we go by the rules of the folks that invites us.
