How do you yell the difference between a clovis point and a folsome point???? I thought the first find was a folsome?

Thanks. Great question. One of the main characteristics of a Folsom point is a large wide flute that runs the whole length of the point on both sides. Clovis flutes aren't as long or wide and in some cases there aren't any flutes at all.
