Thanks for the question. Each creek is different. We generally prefer creeks with hard bottoms and minimal gravel but we have found points in creeks with a lot of sand and gravel with a firm but not hard bottom. The main thing that has been productive for us is creeks with high banks and flat ridges that could support someone living on the ridges. The ridges need to be out of the flood plain. My dream is to creek hunt alot!!!
Yu guys make a very nicely produced utube videos!!!
Under them banks hide some fine EATING cats..
I'm sure there are but I don't want to grab one! I reached under a small ledge a couple years ago and pinned something against the back wall. I don't know who it scared more, me or it! Yes I do! Me.
Nothing like some noodling for cats and arrowhead hunting!!!
Imo if you find it, you was meant to find. Nothing lucky about it. But y'all doing good. Nice points
Thanks!
What are you blurring out?, i'm gonna guess human bones.
If it had been human remains we would have called the proper authorities.
Do you fellas ever come across native bones while searching? Run across a few myself here in Ontario Canada.
Thanks for the question. The answer is no. The soil down here is too acidic.
❤
Thanks!
22:42 red whit and blue point i have a similar attributed to www.projectilepoints.net/Points/Pogo.html its the one that has central La. its more north central but ....is that what you think that may be?
Thanks for watching and for the question. It looks like the same point but would be called something different in this area. Maybe a late archaic barbed but not sure.
Not the kind of artifacts we hold
