William Groover i know this comment is 3 years old but i just downloaded it on xbox because it’s free on game pass and holy shit i’ve clocked like 20 hours already in 3 days. i just can’t stop playing. i have like 400 troops garrisoned at my one castle while i’m raising an army of 100 knights so i can start taking everything over quickly. first time ever playing and i think i’m doing okay. i’m a vassal of the Nords, only 10 right to rule, high honor and relations with multiple factions. one thing i messed up with was pillaging every town within a faction we are at war with early on. got me 50K gold in a few weeks ingame time but now have like 6-7 villages at -40 and absolutely Hate me. luckily i have 2 fiefs in Swadia and the Nords lands with +40 relations so i can get 10-15 troops every time i stop by and those are my main troops i use
50 swadian knights can take armies of 500-1000 depending on tactics skill having your soldiers archer positioned on top of a steep hill using command lists is a very good tactic put 20-25 rhodok sharpshooters their it will be almost impossible for the enemy to attack head on, even horses are slow going up steep hills. Btw rhodoks are the best I like to exclusively use rhodok sharpshooters, rhodok veteran cbm etc then split them into 3 archer lines so I am attacking the enemy from 3 different angles Create a new unit type called decoys and use this for all farmers, recruits these can be used as cannon fodder to split the enemy lines open, open their shield walls and makes archer attacks more powerful. This game rewards intelligence and inititive I hope this helps I have been playing this game since mount and blade beta it never loses its magic it is a godess among games only 10% of people appreciate it like
Just started playing warband. I was fighting for the nords and took a castle from the enemy and the king gave it to somebody else. I then denounced my allegiance and formed my own kingdom and every faction attacked me. Thousands of troops against my 60 or so. Eventually lost the castle and my army and went in to exile with the sarranids, raised an army of Mamlukes and am now plotting my revenge to get my castle back. I love this game though I still don’t understand how I’ll ever get right to rule high enough to survive on my own.
In my play through (first ever) I sided with the Nords who beat Swadia down till they only had 3 castles left. I had around 37 right to rule, and like 40 something honor. I went out and took over the three castles Swadia had left, then manned the walls with 100+ toops on each castle. Then every single kingdom went to war with me. All of them... had around 15 lords in my pocket, but I was going up with like 150 huscals and 50 or so archers vs over 2k enemies. I kept defeating them all but I ran out of troops very, very fast (like a week in game time). I was wondering why everyone was attacking me because the Nords liked me 100%, and they still attacked.
Well, if you make your own kingdom... not saying you are, then the faction you left will hate you for leaving which will result with them attacking you.

Solid plan. I will need to do a little work on the character before I get to that phase but ya I dig it. I have another in the bag, and we'll be transitioning the army from only cavalry into a mix of archers and cavalry.

quick way to get rolled on in a MB mod download prophesy of pendor fuck with the noldor in the woods of laria to relation -50 or more start a kingdom by taking on sarleon after the empire beats up their army or vice via watch as the game rolls on by spawning the dread legion 4 snake cult armies and wolfbode and they seem to be anal toward you, your whole kingdom and your only 3 towns or castles, you also forget to have spotting and path finding and get rolled on by an army of snake goddess priestesses with medieval gothic armor clad knights on horses that one shot you in normal damage mode. Afterwards you hide in the jatu steppes hoping to kite warlord zul'kar to a other faction's town but you are too slow and he catches up to you and now you have one of the most annoying jato armies in the game about to give you the vaseline achievement
Honestly, I wish there was a more dynamic and diverse system for getting "right to rule". In my case, I only own one city/one castle and I'm only interested in this criterion to marry a claimant (I helped the two women to regain their factions). I have honor, renown, money, an excellent group and I prefer to play without any vassal... and I would like to obtain this advantage without needing to "advance" in the game (conquering cities/castles) as my intention is just to become an "option" of valuable marriage to a noblewoman. In my view, my best alternative is to conquer most of the territories of a monarch and show him that "peace" is the best alternative in the face of this glitch. The current basic problem is that even winning battles in a row, no king "respects" me and prefers to be at war with me forever. If i could, I would pay with renown, honor and money to "buy" or "facilitate the acquisition" of "right to rule". There could be the possibility of offering a dowry to the bride's family, receiving a complicated mission to be entitled to marry a noblewoman, "buying" a better opinion of the nobles through expensive gifts and/or military support, and so on. I have remained neutral and honorable between factions for hundreds of days in order to calmly accumulate experience, money and good equipment, but the system for achieving this criterion is too limited.

Is that "Normal" ? Since every gameplay I watch or read or whatever everyone says " *Nords* allways take *Rivacheg* first and *Swadians* roll over *Nords* "
Nah, different tactics and 1st turn base. Some say swadia rapes nords, in my playthrough it was the rhodoks. Depending pn your tactic, it can be either pretty difficult or horribly easy. Nords do get slaughtered by swadian cav if you dont use any tactic. Swadian knights are countered by thicklines. Depending on the cav type, you may need 2 or 3 lines. If the cav unit gets stuck inside a mass of enemies, he's quickly taken down.

+Berke Tınas You can ride it out with 25 RTR, but you'll have a lot of trouble with lords that don't like you. Make DAMN sure you make friends with every lord you can, that will greatly reduce the number of lords that will attack you.
Can anyone help me I got 106 renown but it won’t rise no matter what I do I’ve killed bandits done bounties helped lords and even sacked some towns and it just won’t go up which which currently has any real progress softlocked I don’t know if I’m bugged or what’s wrong
I reccomend to be friends whit all the kings so they will recognice you as king, you know there are 6 kings, be friend whit 5 and you will get 50 points

Misunderstood, my bad. You usually get an option to talk to them before a battle engages. That way when you meet their forces you can request a meeting with their leader.
Try to have a bigger army maybe? Kings run from me because I gather all of my lords when I travel into enemy territory, making my 400ish army big enough for a king with 200ish to run

Hmm, I had right to rule of 99 (maxed), I had 35 honor rating, I was a noble, I had alot of friends/allies + over 900 renown and when I took Wercheg from the Nords, every faction declared war against me, what the fuck? I had my right to rule maxed!!

this is a necropost on my part,, but you can only send out each companion to increase your RtR once.
I wouldn't say 50 RTR is needed. I've been successful with about 30 RTR, but no kingdoms wanted to be friends and that was it.

What I don't understand is if your asking a king for piece you will be at war with them so won't they attack you? Please help ;(
Peace is the opposite of war.
Misunderstood, my bad. You usually get an option to talk to them before a battle engages. That way when you meet their forces you can request a meeting with their leader.

Try to have a bigger army maybe? Kings run from me because I gather all of my lords when I travel into enemy territory, making my 400ish army big enough for a king with 200ish to run

Hmm, I had right to rule of 99 (maxed), I had 35 honor rating, I was a noble, I had alot of friends/allies + over 900 renown and when I took Wercheg from the Nords, every faction declared war against me, what the fuck? I had my right to rule maxed!!
