I knew as soon as I heard him say he got a new radio for his truck the chainsaw was coming out
I love his radio installs, lol. The "make it work, screw everything else" attitude is just great.
Truth be told, I thought you were joking, for about 35 minutes. Biggest laugh this week I predict.

@@MaximusMerideus Single din and double din refer to the size of the radio. Single din radios are 2 inches high, and double dins are 4 inches high. Single din is a typical radio, the size that will typically be in older vehicles. Double din is basically just a double tall radio, which is a common size for touch screen radios.

I think that is called a Stilson wrench. My dad had several, most of them he found on the highway because people kept forgetting to take them off the bumper after use. But the one Andrew had there is ginormous.

You don't know much about tools or wrenches huh.
I used TWO of those 48" long wrenches when I was a Pipefitter-one to loosen/tighten, the other to as a "hold back" to keep everything else from moving.
These repairs make me APPRECIATE living in FLORIDA without ROAD SALT in my life.

Man having a lift really makes doing maintenance on your trucks so much easier. Even simple greasing is 100 times easier.
The wife said if I don't stop watching Andrew Camarata digging holes and welding stuff and spend that time with her, she's leaving me. I'm gonna miss her. When he brought the chain saw in to the cab to customize the dash, I re-stated my vows of support.....FOREVER.

Ive welded a lot of stuff that needed to not leak,
my 3 main tips for it:
1: Clean it gooood, oil, dirt, water, paint will make porous welds
2: weld it hot!,
3: Dont do short welds, keep on welding
It's a beautiful thing to live like you haven't any worries at all, and can accomplish so much. Andrew camartara is number one in the world of video.

That radio install was comedy gold, that would be the funniest sketch on SNL in a decade if they just aired it as is. Between chainsawing the dash and complaining about the previous owner's hack job to the "truck got full of plastic somehow" to "faceplate doesn't fall off of it that's what its got". I sensed the chainsaw coming and still couldn't stop laughing for a solid ten minutes.

Oh yes I just happen to have a hydraulic press table handy. truck lift, air, grease, he just seems to have all the needed equipment and tools to get the job done. thats called years of doing with out before. and a need to get them. well done Andrew! another lesson in "Fine Tuning" a truck. dash radio and all.
