    As a roll off dumpster business operator, I appreciate the decision and care you took to make sure the loads were level with the top edge of the dumpsters. It's important so the drivers can work efficiently and properly tarp and secure the load, making it safe to travel on the roads. Thank you, I hope others follow your example!

      Some of them are built just like modular homes, and will stand the ultimate test of time...but most are poorly built. I bought a lot and had had a modular dropped on it- but I saw how it was built so I know it’s quality. You wouldn’t know it’s a modular if you didn’t see the cranes setting it on the foundation. I saved a bunch of money having it built in a warehouse and put together in sections....and it came with a guarantee.

    • @tomschmidt381

      Funny you mentioned that. After we bought our property moved a used 1969 mobile home to it in 1980. At the time my wife worked at a mobile home park and we got a good deal on an abandoned mobile home. Lived in it for a couple of years while be built our house. Then we sold it for what we had into it to another couple. I've often wondered it it still exists or if not how long it lasted.
      Andrew is right about the flimsily construction. Ours had no insulation in the walls so ice would build up on the inside during cold days here in NH. When we were building our house several of the subs wondered why we wanted a mortgage when we had a perfectly good mobile home. :)

    • @joshuamcpeek4708
      @joshuamcpeek4708 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When people mention an exception to mobile home poor quality they unknowingly mention modular homes which are different than mobile homes. Most homes made today and even in the past use prefabricated roof A frames and sometimes skeletal wall sections too. A modular home is made up of multiple prefabricated components whereas a mobile home is assembled and hauled to its destination and isnt meant to be moved very often (preferably not at all)

I laughed when you said you were getting a new truck. in one of your videos. I pictured a new something. You turned an older Dodge into a functional, money making vehicle.
