I’m pretty new to Megabass tackle and just started fishing them this year. These type of reviews really help. I’m very glad you started this channel. Please keep doing more.
Wow. Thanks man. That’s great to have all that explained. I’m really starting to geek out on 110’s. I never knew why stained reaction had that name but it gets me so man bites it’s wild.
Thanks bro... I managed to use your tutorial on the color codes to purchase the French Pearl OB, Wakin Reaction and Sunshine Gill color patterns of the Ito Vision 110. 3 totally different presentations for Southern African waters...I'm sure this will cover a large portion of the spectrum... Thanks again
Thank you Ben for the color code meanings. Now I have a better understanding on why I can trigger large and small jaws to bite, when other presentations I threw in the the exact same spot where not working like a Chatterbait T-Rigs spinnerbait etc...That Ito Shiner Kohoku Reaction for me ,is the ultimate tool to trigger and get them bass to react when no other search lures are working
So I just made a purchase of some x80 trick darters and the colors are Wagin Komorin Oikawa F.. what does the F mean at the end? floating?..Also, I got one that is GG Oikawa M..I have no clue what the M could stand for..any ideas? Thank you
Just came across this. Great info. Made me really think more about the colors and when to use them, and now inventorying and sorting my jerkbaits. Since watching this, I have one that I cannot identify. It is a 110 Plus 1, it has a purple back, a hint of chartreuse on the back bottom, the rest of the very bottom has a light pearle lavender, and the sides are completely transparent so I can see the bearings up to the top. I have searched your color charts as well as Megabass. Any idea?
I just spent 300$ on alot of megabass jerkbaits 😂 My friend gave me one and it absolutely SLAYYYYED. Unreal bait. They cast a mile too. I will have a hard time putting this bait down. It gets that kind of results in the river I fish
Maybe one day I’ll have atleast one of each type. As of now I have GG deadly black shad, mat stain shad, and ito wakasagi(which yo me looks like an GT, but apparently there’s an GT Ito wakasagi too?!)
Hey man! Thanks for watching! If it’s a little dirty, I like ito Natural, Kohoku Reaction, Mat Stain Shad, wakin Ayu. If it’s really dirty then Mat Tiger, M RB Shad, Megabass Kinkuro.
I've been perusing the Japanese market for Vision 110s. I was curious about the SP, R, and FA. I deduced SP is probably 'Special', since they're special Japanese colors. I saw somewhere the 'R' means 'Racing'? Something to do with thinner paint, affecting the speed and action; who knows? Still, I can't figure the FA out. Now you just reckon what that means???
I’m in St. Louis and fish Lake of the Ozarks and Table Rock Lake. Off the top of your head what would you suggest, which type of Megabass jerk bait and color would be your go to?
Everyone one us is gonna end up watching this a dozen times. Would not be surprised if this doesnt end being your most viewed video for a long time. Does the SP after Table Rock mean anything?
Nick Akers in the P5 there’s the OneTen Stick, which is the same action as the OneTen special, only much shorter. Other non Megabass options would be Conquest 843-844 MBR, Jackall Poison Adrena.
I am so glad that I found this video! Thanks so much for explaining this coding on the Megabass jerkbait lineup.

Awesome! We’ll keep it coming! Thank you for watching!
Awesome video, my megabass lure selection makes more sense now. Props to big bass dreams. Keep up the good work.
thank you for watching!

Awesome dude! Thanks for watching!
Great info never knew any of that Thanks!! Cheers!! :))
I would buy a bridge from Ben, great knowledge and presentation 👍💪👊
I got to find some bridges! ;)

Learnt a ton on this one! Will need to watch it again for sure
Sweet! Thank you for watching!
Hell yeah!! Great and useful info!!!
Thanks for watching man!
I bought the Vision 110 Jr., it comes with number 8 hook and I need replacement. I didn't see #8 on the website, is that a special order
Another GREAT video. Would be great if you could make a color key code list and post it on your website.
Good idea!
What colors do you recommend for trout fishing
@thehookuptackle Did Megabass announce a new version of the Ito Vision 110 jr.? I thought they did but can't find info about it anywhere.
Awesome! As usual! Keep them coming :)
You got it! Thank you for watching!
I forgot my notebook... Hope there isn't a test at the end!
Nice job Teach!
Haha! What’s GP stand for?! :)
Even if I had a notebook I couldn't spell it! Fish scale coating is the translation though
Throw me a softball next time, like MB. Haha

Metallic
Is there are specific reason why some lures come with red eyes?
Very informative. Thanks.
Great info. I’ve wanted to dial in my jerkbait better and this will definitely help. Now I’ll go broke! 🤣😝😜😂
Loving the MB videos.
Cool! Thanks for watching!
Great job

Hi. May I ask what kind of background you had before starting your shop? What did you study in? You are a very good public speaker.
Great information. Thanks.
What does the sp stand for
Special. It’s usually a color they rarely or maybe only one time make
Is there a money color
I just spent 300$ on alot of megabass jerkbaits 😂 My friend gave me one and it absolutely SLAYYYYED. Unreal bait. They cast a mile too. I will have a hard time putting this bait down. It gets that kind of results in the river I fish
Can you make a "Cheat Sheet" 🤙👌? Good one to repost on social media
Thanks for all the info
You got it!
This is great! Thx!
Pradco did guanine in the 90’s .
There’s was very fragile, how does megabass guanine hold up??
Megabass paint has amazing durability!
Maybe one day I’ll have atleast one of each type. As of now I have GG deadly black shad, mat stain shad, and ito wakasagi(which yo me looks like an GT, but apparently there’s an GT Ito wakasagi too?!)
Very Comprehensive. Now I know.
What does SP mean
That was my question; SP, FA, and R?
What’s a good color for dirty water jerk bait fishing? These are wonderful and informative videos Thanks I appreciate it
Hey man! Thanks for watching! If it’s a little dirty, I like ito Natural, Kohoku Reaction, Mat Stain Shad, wakin Ayu. If it’s really dirty then Mat Tiger, M RB Shad, Megabass Kinkuro.

Fine Art
I’m in St. Louis and fish Lake of the Ozarks and Table Rock Lake. Off the top of your head what would you suggest, which type of Megabass jerk bait and color would be your go to?
The Tennessee shad colors are very good for sunny days and any white or Matte color for dark days
What about sp
That was my question: SP, FA, and R?
What's the W/O?
All the knowledge
Thanks for watching my friend!
Everyone one us is gonna end up watching this a dozen times. Would not be surprised if this doesnt end being your most viewed video for a long time. Does the SP after Table Rock mean anything?
special
What’s a good jerk bait rod that isn’t the oneten special?
Orochi XX jerkbait special
For what jerkbaits? What do you want it do to that the OneTen Special isn't delivering for you?
The Hook Up Tackle I like the P5 rods. And I don’t like foam handles on a $400+ rod.
Nick Akers in the P5 there’s the OneTen Stick, which is the same action as the OneTen special, only much shorter. Other non Megabass options would be Conquest 843-844 MBR, Jackall Poison Adrena.
I love Megabass rods but the Expride 6'10" medium is my go to jerkbait rod.
Can you throw them in the surf
Absolutely. They make saltwater versions that sink so they handle the surf better
I didn't think about the name much.
Just went off of color and if it was more of a matter finish or ghost or metallic. Know I see it all.
Thank you for watching!
Yup
Matte finish
Now I know
One can spend a fortune just on Megabass jerkbaits alone!!
Ahhhhhh!
I need I cheat card to remember all of this
Why cant they just spell it out in English lol, you figured they would considering the US is where they make there most money
Fish don't care
Maybe at your skill level they don’t, but at my skill level I need every bit of fine tuning help I can get!
