What Tadej did on the 3 stages he won is unbelievable. And on the TT only seconds behind Remco. He can climb, sprint, do TT, what a versatile rider he is - chapeau!
I really wonder how good of a sprinter he could be if he actually trained for it. He said one day he would train for Roubaix and put on some weight so we should get a glimpse of that. I for one would love to see a 70+ kg Pogacar ripping through a classics season.

Many of the former doping “consultants” and “management” involved with Rabobank, who were arguably some of the very biggest dopers in the Tour including Michael Rasmussen and pals are now involved with Jumbo. Then you have doper Bjarne Riis, who has also served as a “consultant” for Jumbo. 😀
I agree, I have huge respect for both of them. Jonas has really worn his heart on his sleeve this year and I feel like a lot of people have warmed up to him because of it, I know I have.
Visma is too weak to crack Pogačar this year. Plus Pogačar has definitely increased his ability to maintain high power output over a longer period of time than previous races, Strade Bianche proved it. Vingegaard is an amazing athlete. To be even on the podium after his Basque accident is super incredible.
Jonas showing the heart of a champion to not just suit up for this race but like you said be second best. Tadej is on another level, incredible to watch the limits of human ability here...
One thing is clear: Remco is learning fast with Tadej and Jonas how to behave like a champ; we can see a real diference on and off the road. What an amazing cycling era! ✨
I started watching cycling 20/25 years ago... and for the first time I feel so involved, in every stage especially mountain stages I "suffer together" with Tadej. I enjoy when he wins and I struggle when he losts... but I can only thanks this guy for all these emotions. Dont stop Tadej, push towards the end, let show them who is the best 💥💪🤙

Coming into the tour I was pulling for Jonas, and still am. However, I have come to really like, and admire Pog! I honestly will not be upset if (when) he wins. He is such an amazing rider, top notch sportsmanship, and seems like a genuinely good guy. Watching the rivalry with Jonas, and the mutual respect they share is really special. We are getting to see the best rivals I have ever seen!
They are actually overall almost exactly equal in total abilities. P is heavier but has some more power V is lighter and has equal vo2 max as P. Remember v almost died two months ago folks. He is not fully recovered either vo2 max nor muscle mass.

I don’t even want to say it, but at this point I think personally I’m probably gonna stop watching the tour this year.

The guy was coming back from a serious injury where he spent 12 days in the freaking ICU. To say he had no balls in the early stages of the TDF is just dumb. But considering the source (Remco) I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. Just wish Tadej wasn’t perpetuating this nonsense. He’s better than that….cant say the same for Remco.
Nobody asked what happened the day he lost the sprint with Jonas? It seems obvious that something went wrong with Taddei, especially when compared with his performance in the weekend
Pogi was too greedy. Attacked way too early and in the end payed for it. The last two stages, he changed his strategy, not necessarily more defensive, but more careful managing his efforts, and the results were much better.
I really would like to hear Taddei's or someone from his team's reply to that question. He kinda said that he got scared from when he lost a bit of control in the descent, but I guess there was something wrong with him. I would like to know what. He felt good as he attached, so something went wrong on the way

Pogi looks so much more joyful and relaxed now, as opposed to the previous rest day. I think he doubted himself a little but that's all gone away now.

Yes fueling. The fatigue built up over the day & a slight lack of fueling caused his 30seconds loss to Jonas.
