In gesprek met Urska Zigart: "Voor mij hoeft Tadej niks te doen om speciaal te zijn"

Tadej Pogacar was heer en meester in de Tour de France, dat zag ook zijn metgezel Urska Zigart, zelf een profrenster. Sammy Neyrinck sprak met Zigart net voor de slotrit van de Ronde van Frankrijk.
"Voor mij is hij gewoon Tadej, maar hij is ook een van de beste wielrenners ter wereld. Thuis is hij gewoon een normale kerel die zelf de was doet en het avondeten klaarmaakt", zegt Zigart. "Maar op een fiets is hij gewoon een machine. Ik zie genoeg af als we samen gaan trainen."

Great interview and we know a little bit more about Tadej. I am a Dutchman, living in Hungary and like watching sport, all kind of sport. I can enjoy from Tadej as well. In my opinion he is a great cycler but also a great man. Watch the Giro d'Italia when he drives in the front, he gets a drinkbottle and gives it to the boy who is running next to him, great attitude. Urska is Slovenian champion on the road and time trial but they decided not to send her to the Olympics. Tadej decided also not to go because he is tired. Of course after Italy and France but I think he is pissed off that his partner couldn't go to the Olympics. With that in mind he doesn;t go and then he is a great man.
