Wheel Bearings & Seals | 2nd Gen 4Runner

We noticed a grinding sound coming from the driver side wheel when moving at slow speeds in our 4Runner. I decided to take apart the hub to clean, inspect, and grease the components. In this video, I show you how to take apart your 4Runner's wheel hub and how to grease and re-assemble it according to the factory service manual.

I'd recommend getting a proper socket to torque that wheel bear nut.
Also, manual locking hubs are a super cheap upgrade that will save a ton of wear and tear on your front diff and CVs.

Thanks! We actually had stock cross bears and rails that came with the vehicle. I just attached it to those.

The wheel bearings never worked? There must be something bent or damaged on the spindle then. Sorry to hear that.
