Worked awesomely for me. For anone else wondering its the same process for basically any game running the Frostbite engine (Battlefield 4, Hardline, Battlefield 1, Battlefront, Plants VS Zombies GW2, just about any DICE game really) Although ive only had this problem with the Battlefield games, even Battlefield 3 sometimes. I had this issue in Titanfall 2 and BF1, I've done as the video instructed and so far so good. I'm running a Asus 780ti

There isnt directx folder in BF1, what did you do?

On my laptop I was having this issue, I found that my cpu was overclocking (which I didn't know was possible without trying). A solution that helped me: go to control pannel/power options/advanced power settings/processor power and turn it down from 100% to 99. This prevents the processor from overclocking. Might help some people.

I had this error while playing BF4 for the first time in my life, very weird.
I have this error with Mirror's edge catalyst, and i don't have the DirectX folder, I have installed DirectX, still nothing. plz help!!!!

Developers still have not FIXED this issue or even mentioned it since this post was created I would suggest everyone effected to create a new Reddit post AND official battlefield forums and link this original so it can be visible to developers so they can adress the issue to everyone effected.

I am having this exact issue with BF3 only, but it keeps happening, some times ill get a good bit of playing in then BAM some times its within a few minutes and BAM! I have tried SO many things to fix this and nothing works. Uninstalled EVERYTHING other than windows and nothing works, change from DX11 to 10, nope

Iv tried everything now, only thing i got working was to clock down my gpu...check also your monitor during the fail, my memory was at 99.99.
It fails the 1 game play but are fine after that...
Trust me tried all down to new win install!!

Same here. I tried this. Played through about 5 or 6 matches. Thought it might have worked. Then the next day the error popped up again within about 3 seconds of starting a match.
This REALLY fuckin' sucks. Why can't I find ANYTHING online that fixes this error?

I think if this does not fix it, next time it crashes I'll throw my PC from the 2nd floor. It's really getting annoying. Plus 70% off crash is the fucking sleep mode :(
