I enjoyed WW2 with my friend's, it was a pretty memorable experience for me. Especially the 1v1 area. The Story was absolutely amazing. I go back to it every once in awhile to relive it.
Issue with the story was that it was more like an interactive movie than a game. I got a glitch at replaying the mission where you save the girl from the wine cellar. When you pick her up, her eyes disappear, and all you get to look at are empty, red eye sockets while you try to get around the German soldiers trying to kill you.
I started to play this game for the first time yesterday.. That opening scene as they're making their way to Omaha Beach, the incredible orchestral music playing... It filled me with such emotion... All of the lives lost in the process, the hearts broken, the lives shattered, the families destroyed... 15 million dying in battle to help save the world that had already lost over 45 million civilians...

At the end credits of that game, you can find a message that says "This game is dedicated to the men and women who served and sacrificed in service of their countries during World War II." It shows respect to WW2, while Vanguard isn't.
This is hands down the best COD series. The beat gore, the best screaming and hollering, close up murders. You can kill in various ways. Me and the homie still playing this jawn.
I got lucky and got this about 6 months after release and fell in love! Loved the divisions, loved the gunplay, loved the progression and art style. Oh and the sand box level was awesome! And the best weapons of any cod I’ve ever played! Didn’t have to spend a dime and could unlock just about anything with a little hard work
Same I got it later in the cycle and it was a solid game! I never understood why it was hated. Now Infinite warfare or advanced warfare are in my opinion the absolute worst COD's ever made.
Funny how supply drops were hated at the time, but now they're missed since the only way to get cool skins and weapon variants is through spending like $20 per. I've earned so many nice weapon variants and skins through the supply drops in WWII and BO3 just by playing the game.
WW2 was one of my fav cod Games. It felt like a breath of fresh air. The guns were so much fun, there wasn’t an overwhelming amount of things to do. It felt actually rewarding to play.
No matter what people say, this will always be my favorite cod game and my personal best COD game. The HQ, zombies scariness, Supply drops, Contracts, and the campaign were all AMAZING for me
WaW is 100000000000 better than this "telenovela" campaign WWII had. We are talking about the deadliest conflict in human history, and WWII only focused on Zussman LOL, no dark vibes, no bloodshed, nothing.
Call of Duty WW2 contains a well thought out campaign with a good story, theater mode, emblem creator, paint jobs, map voting, red dots on mini map, an innovate lobby creation with the HQ, multiple party game modes, well designed maps, and a round based zombie mode with a full fledge story and easter egg, enough said. I miss when the biggest things we had to complain about was emotes, supply drops, and the incendiary shotgun lmao

The reason I liked COD WW2 was because it had levels like Normandy Invasion, Liberation Of France, Battle of Aachen(first German city to fall), Ardennes Offensive, Bridge at Remagen captured, and the Epilogue of the labor and death camps. Dear God, may all those Jewish people Rest In Peace. No other WW2 game does that. This game had some problems. But if you ignore them, it gives you a hell of a history lesson. Sad how some people forget these men saved the world from the mind of a madman.
Me and my mate played co-op and we had two AI legends. I had london and my mate had X-Ray. We loved playing multiplayer and the campaign is very realistic with the missions that actually happened in WW2. This game is one of the most underrated cod games of all time.
So, COD WWII is a great game, I’ve heard that it’s multiplayer wasn’t that good when it first came out, but really, the COD games are about the campaigns. COD WWII’s campaign was one of the most fun campaign I’ve played. Although, the M1919 and MG42 in the single-player mode is a bit odd.
Great video bro ❤ For me and everyone speaking, after BLACK OPS 2 everything went down hill. COD was NEVER the same. They tried to bring it back but they've lost the touch.
Bo3 was a great game too. But you're right: Ghost meh, AW meh, IW meh, Bo4 Meh, WW2 (kinda fun), MW meh, Cold War (had its moments but meh), MW2 meh, Vangaurd meh.
After quitting call of duty in 2013 this is the game that brought me back it was during the plandemic i started to play this game and i loved it .loved everything about it and this video makes sense to why i liked it everything was already fixed when i started playing.
I enjoyed this game. It brought me back to COD after a 4 year hiatus from all video games. I wasn’t expecting anything I just saw it at the store one night and decided to buy it and play. I also had no idea how big video gaming got within that time. I still thought it was a casual thing.
Honestly COD: WWII was one of my favourites COD games, I still have it on my Xbox and PS today and I really enjoy returning to it and playing the campaign (which I think is really good) and playing some multiplayer, it's crazy how many people still play that game btw.
Growing up I was never allowed to play M-rated games, but when I turned 17 my dad bought me this COD and I never understood why it had so much hate? Fun Multiplayer modes, good campaign. Now that I played pretty much all the cod campaigns including WAW more realistic bloody gameplay compared too this games campaign which was like playing "saving private ryan simulator".
awesome video bro.. i loved this cod even when it was shitty and hadn’t gotten all the major revisions yet. i had been on a long break from cod because i hadn’t enjoyed the jet pack stuff so i had last played mw3. something else about this game just hits different though, the year 2017, the winter weather and my age at the time i was about 24 years old and it really is a nostalgic time when the friend group kicked it a lot and we had a lot of fun playing ww2 in my garage on my first ever 55 inch tv just knocking down brews and rolling doobies all day and night. all that is attached to this game for me and why it holds a special place in my heart.
WW2 was more like an interactive movie than a game (too long cutscenes, and very short gameplay). I had no interest in the multiplayer gameplay. I got a nightmare fuel glitch when I replayed the mission where you save the little girl from the wine cellar, where her eyes were gone, and all you looked at the entire time were her empty, red eye sockets.
ngl cod ww2's campaign is honestly one of my favorites and i think its underrated. i may just be a history nerd, but i legit got attached to those characters lol. there was great surprises, like when turner died. it shows the brutal reality of war; there one moment, gone the next. i also like the aspect of the sneaking stuff. like when you had to sneak inside the nazi building at paris to switch out a briefcase to explode the gates. i will be honest, i think the rhine battle could have been a little better, but it was still good. again, thats just my opinion 👍
One of the things i wasnt happy with about this game was that those extra war maps didnt last very long, they dont come on very often at all. I do think the campaign is very good though.
A lot of people give this game crap for the loot boxes, but WWII had a lot of variants for each of their guns to inflate the chances of getting a new weapon. And there was a lot of opportunities to get rare lootboxes, let alone just boxes in general. You complete dailies, contracts and you have 7 boxes a day. It's less common to *not* get a new gun each day. BO IV had to revamp their boxes because the chances to get a new gun there was ridiculously low. I think around 0.03% with how much shit was flooding their boxes.
This COD is probably one of the best in the modern era of COD, behind BO3 of course but once the Devs really nailed this game, boy did they nail it. It’s still the only modern COD I go back and replay apart from BO3. Plus, the guns are absolutely awesome to use, especially if you’re a fan of WW2 history.
COD MW2019 is the best modern era of cod game. There was nothing bad about it. No loot boxes, barely any bugs, og fun. Good graphics. Good FPS. Good weapons. Nothing recycled. MW 2019 is by far the best post 2015 cod.
as i’ve commented on a community post, i have nostalgia of playing ww2 during 2017-2018 with my brother and we had a ton of fun, so i really liked ww2, zombies was definitely lacking, but god the campaign was good
I definitely agree that this game was underrated. Although it still has some issues that can't be fixed such as forced diversity, censing history, boring zombies mode, loot boxes, and a short campaign, COD WW2 was a really good game. The campaign was great when it came to the squad of soldier you would fight alongside. Pierson is perhaps the most deep, since he was a veteran of the disaster of Kasserine Pass, with Turner being an amazing leader. Although the campaign was far from accurate, and not as authentic as I would have liked, the story was good enough that I looked past all that, for the most part. If the campaign was a bit longer, and had some DLC/Expansion pack alongside MP and Zombies, then I think the campaign would have been the goat. Multiplayer was fun, but as you said, restrictive. the HQ was my favorite part about the game, as I could interact with other players, mess around with the killstreaks, test out my accuracy, and more. one of my favorite modes was Dogfights, and War was a decent mode. However, Dogfights only had two maps and two planes. And War, while fun, just couldn't hook me. the maps themselves weren't too bad, but we just needed more. perhaps my biggest issue of the game was the loot boxes. As Act Man showed and stated in his review, you got the same nonsense, only a different name to it. Zombies was definitely the worst part about this game. The zombies themselves looked amazing. they looked broken, bloody, and dead. the giant Frankenstein monster on the launch map also looked amazing, with so many dead bodies molded together. However, it had the same issues the multiplayer. And the story was balls. All in all, if the game had more time and support, better leadership, and balls, then I think it could have been the goat. It is a decent game, but needed more.
Where was there forced diversity? The only person I can think of in the game that was diverse was Howard and that was reasonable as Black Americans did fight in WW2. If anything I remember ign saying that the game wasn't diverse enough and people were roasting them for that.
I absolutely loved ww2 from the hq to the dog fights. From the feel of quick scoping to the movement. I absolutely loved this game and don't get me started on the zombies. Definitely underrated 100%
I'd honestly settle with this than Vanguard. The campaign of this game is just an outstanding story telling. I know it's not your typical COD campaign, the dark tone and all. But I can't help but love the fact it shows the value of brotherhood in the heat of war. All I can say is, the campaign of CODWWII really did all the carrying in this one.
There's no suppression, campaign is good and no 10 attachments. No game should reward missing shots, have a regurgitated avengers-like/quirky team of ss+ ultra top tier soldiers with no character in a fanfiction of the tragedy of WW2, no swastikas nor flag imagery allowed in a ww2 game and the grindiest progression sytem in the entire franchise. WW2 was flawed and misunderstood. Vanguard has no redeeming qualities, only the mw2019 movement and even that isn't worth it because 90% of the maps aren't designed for it. Hell, even MWII slow ass movement isn't hindered by the maps unlike Vanguard.
I always loved cod ww2. Makes me sad seeing how much people hated ww2. I loved it the story and guns. Sure it was questionable in some tech like old looking red dots and smokes but it fit the quick arcade game style for cod.
Recently replayed this, I don't care what people say, this is still one of my favorite games of all time. As someone who didn't care with multiplayer, the campaign, the casts and acting, story, everything is beautiful... I hate that it was killed by microtransaction, F Activision as always
0:01 Cold War all the way, followed by infinite, ww2, maybe AW, but mw22 could’ve been god tier if they just removed slide cancelling, b hopping, made better maps, and not change the perk system,Erik packages weren’t all bad just the timed activation sucked.
Idk why cod ww2 was so hated when i first watched act man's video about it, the campaign was too solid to hate (i only played the campaign and to play the multiplayer i have to buy the online subscription since i play on ps4 so i have no idea about the multiplayer). The reason why i played ww2 in the first place is because my seniors in my school recommeneded me to play it because it feels like a movie they said, even my little cousin always replayed the game when everytime he came to my house and he played it so often that he increased the difficulty to hardened then played it again till the end, it was insane. But then i understand why the game got the hate, when i bought the subscription, multiplayer is literally unplayable and it's not noob friendly at all. Some of the maps are terrible and the war mode lack of maps, this game had the most unplayable multiplayer i had ever played. But despite the flaws, the campaign what makes me love this game and they were not lying, the campaign it's indeed like a movie even the gameplay. It is truly one of the most underrated and one of the most underappreciated cods of all time.
The most hated Call of Duty for me was the first Call of Duty that I actually owned and played and is my favourite Call of Duty. Got it in 2017 with the PS4 Slim Limited Edition. Still play it to this day.
This was my favorite CoD ever, definitely deserved much more attention. In my opinion, The multiplayer was alright, I liked the classes and customizations and stuff, and it was simple, but there was something that just made it ok and not good, but the story was really good and the zombies was one of the best zombies I had ever played. I have so much memories, hopping on with my friend and killing a bunch of zombies and running around and coordinating. Truly the peak of my childhood, besides Fortnite (I know) and red dead redemption 2.
Bro cod ww2 came out when I was in 4th grade and I've played mostly all of the cod series and it is still my fav cod thank you for making a video about it
This was my first CoD i'd preordered. So glad I did. I remember getting home as quick as I could to play on release. Still one of my favorite CoDs to date.
Definitely one that gets far too much flak. Found WW2 such a refreshing return to boots on the ground and had a lot of fun with it. Single player campaign was also fantastic!
Definitely worth mentioning the supply drop system too. Coming off of an awful system in BO3, an okay one in IW...if the game had to have supply drops, WWII did it in the best possible way IMO. You could still unlock all the new weapons through challenges and variants were solely cosmetic
As years keep passing, their multiplayer actually age good, zombies was underrated asf, And people who enjoyed competitive 4v4 comp on rank, had probably one the best experiences in rank. WW2 was underrated in the aspect of people wanting a more og and boots on the ground game
Cod ww2 was one of the last games that I was able to make some good cod moments with the boys. I was somewhat disappointed with its zombies because they promised a classic feel and then like after the 3rd dlc they just took a turn and it wasn’t it. However while alot of people say the multiplayer was bad I actually really liked it. Especially that one like war mode or whatever it’s called where it was kinda like breakthrough but I’ve spent countless hours on that game mode alone just slowly grinding for all the new guns they always added. Their campaign was also like one of the best story based cod games that we’ve had in years. Like black ops 3, 4 and vanguard’s campaign didn’t really make any sense to me

Didn’t have to spend a dime and could unlock just about anything with a little hard work
Definitely got lucky you missed all the bs
Same my favorite too❤🪖
No matter what people say, this will always be my favorite cod game and my personal best COD game. The HQ, zombies scariness, Supply drops, Contracts, and the campaign were all AMAZING for me
As a person who played all pc cods until 2017, I loved WW2 and it's one of my faves amongst cods.
Just finished the campaign on this amazing game, and the creators did so good to really depict what WWII was really like.
WaW is 100000000000 better than this "telenovela" campaign WWII had. We are talking about the deadliest conflict in human history, and WWII only focused on Zussman LOL, no dark vibes, no bloodshed, nothing.
No British, No Russian, Black Nazis. They did not.
This game is the furthest thing from what actually happened in WW2. If you think this did a good job at portraying it I’m concerned dog
No they did not haha
@@connieellerbe-maycock7115where you see Black Nazis at? Multiplayer?

EVERYTHING changed when the studio heads left

For me and everyone speaking, after BLACK OPS 2 everything went down hill. COD was NEVER the same. They tried to bring it back but they've lost the touch.

Black Ops 2 was a curse for the franchise, maybe the greatest COD game ever, but a curse at the end.

Bo3 was a great game too. But you're right: Ghost meh, AW meh, IW meh, Bo4 Meh, WW2 (kinda fun), MW meh, Cold War (had its moments but meh), MW2 meh, Vangaurd meh.
Ww2 has a crazy amount of people online still I find lobby’s at 3 in the morning on week days it’s amazing lol
After quitting call of duty in 2013 this is the game that brought me back it was during the plandemic i started to play this game and i loved it .loved everything about it and this video makes sense to why i liked it everything was already fixed when i started playing.
This was my first COD and I played the campaign in every difficulty. I honestly really enjoyed it :)
Same
My first cod was mw2 2009 Xbox 360
I enjoyed this game. It brought me back to COD after a 4 year hiatus from all video games. I wasn’t expecting anything I just saw it at the store one night and decided to buy it and play. I also had no idea how big video gaming got within that time. I still thought it was a casual thing.
“The most hated call of duty”
Vanguard: “Hold my rewrites of history”
Honestly COD: WWII was one of my favourites COD games, I still have it on my Xbox and PS today and I really enjoy returning to it and playing the campaign (which I think is really good) and playing some multiplayer, it's crazy how many people still play that game btw.
The only thing I hated about this game was the lack of War maps!
Ww2 is so underrated I loved playing ranked on this game best maps love this game
Do you want to play with me some zombies?
Do you think the second half of WWII, with the new studio lead and the continually more goofy content added lead to what we got with Vanguard?
1000% lol
Yes
I personally enjoyed everything in the game, it was almost like a good war movie
I love WW2's story mode. It's clear to see what they're trying to do and show to players.
Camaraderie/Brotherhood during the war.
War mode was one of my favourite things to ever play
Same. The most fun I ever had with cod
awesome video bro.. i loved this cod even when it was shitty and hadn’t gotten all the major revisions yet. i had been on a long break from cod because i hadn’t enjoyed the jet pack stuff so i had last played mw3. something else about this game just hits different though, the year 2017, the winter weather and my age at the time i was about 24 years old and it really is a nostalgic time when the friend group kicked it a lot and we had a lot of fun playing ww2 in my garage on my first ever 55 inch tv just knocking down brews and rolling doobies all day and night. all that is attached to this game for me and why it holds a special place in my heart.
Love your videos of this nature...its your thing..Emrace it. Miss your streams..
Thank you north. Miss you
Literally ww2 in my opinion is the best campaign ever
You must be an idiot the campaign was abosulutely terrible
Valid
WW2 was more like an interactive movie than a game (too long cutscenes, and very short gameplay). I had no interest in the multiplayer gameplay. I got a nightmare fuel glitch when I replayed the mission where you save the little girl from the wine cellar, where her eyes were gone, and all you looked at the entire time were her empty, red eye sockets.
WW2 such a good game the sniping was so clean war mode was fun the armory system was fun to grind for stuff, headquarters was a good addition
ngl cod ww2's campaign is honestly one of my favorites and i think its underrated. i may just be a history nerd, but i legit got attached to those characters lol. there was great surprises, like when turner died. it shows the brutal reality of war; there one moment, gone the next. i also like the aspect of the sneaking stuff. like when you had to sneak inside the nazi building at paris to switch out a briefcase to explode the gates. i will be honest, i think the rhine battle could have been a little better, but it was still good. again, thats just my opinion 👍
One of the things i wasnt happy with about this game was that those extra war maps didnt last very long, they dont come on very often at all. I do think the campaign is very good though.
WWII was a blessing in disguise the last cod that truly felt like a cod
Plus, the guns are absolutely awesome to use, especially if you’re a fan of WW2 history.
lmao BO3 sucks a fat turd. I loved the first 2 games but man BO3 is so laughably bad i had no idea anyone liked it.
COD MW2019 is the best modern era of cod game. There was nothing bad about it.
No loot boxes, barely any bugs, og fun. Good graphics. Good FPS. Good weapons. Nothing recycled.
MW 2019 is by far the best post 2015 cod.
@@octav7438 i actually agree with this, i really liked the campaign. i just got done beating it and MW2's campaign on realistic lol
as i’ve commented on a community post, i have nostalgia of playing ww2 during 2017-2018 with my brother and we had a ton of fun, so i really liked ww2, zombies was definitely lacking, but god the campaign was good
love that so much
Same
I definitely agree that this game was underrated.
I wish it would have released in like 2020. It would have banged
Best campaign since OG MW2. In this campaign I felt their pain like if I was there fighting along side with them.
And the game mode war is pretty fun
@@Shadow_Wolf_190 Im actually interested in MWIII bringing that mode back of all things.
this was way better than vanguard in my opinion

Call of Duty WW2 was actually a great game! It felt immersive and even emotional.
Gustav cannon is good imo it was the only one outside the USS Texas that wasn’t a small 3 lane map

The most hated Call of Duty for me was the first Call of Duty that I actually owned and played and is my favourite Call of Duty. Got it in 2017 with the PS4 Slim Limited Edition. Still play it to this day.
This game was a masterpiece, and always will be THE BEST COD game EVER created
This was my favorite CoD ever, definitely deserved much more attention. In my opinion, The multiplayer was alright, I liked the classes and customizations and stuff, and it was simple, but there was something that just made it ok and not good, but the story was really good and the zombies was one of the best zombies I had ever played. I have so much memories, hopping on with my friend and killing a bunch of zombies and running around and coordinating. Truly the peak of my childhood, besides Fortnite (I know) and red dead redemption 2.

I got this for Christmas and I played it for years and I can say it didn't fucking disappoint
COD WW2 was my first cod that I bought myself, and it will always have a place in my heart
This game will forever be in my top 5.

This campaign was a masterpiece. The Vanguard campaign was so messy and ridiculous.
