@X3M TIG please help sir. how to Tig welding in 6G test with carbon pipe 3” sch 40? how to handle, what is no gap or with gaps. I’m few weeks experiencing this test and fail with gaps 3,2mm and filler rod 2,4. please help.
@@saifulhatf1151 hey sorry I just seen your message. Try with 5/32 gap and 1/8 filler rod, do as I shown in this video, freehand harder side first, keep in mind that you are allowed to use grinders so go slowly and if you think it’s not good fixed and continue on.
@@X3MTIG Yes sir, I will try tips and tricks is suggested from you for next test. I got difficulty when was tested with small diameter and thin pipes (sch 40). Thank you sir, for suggestions.
U have help me learn more to prepare myself to retake my pipe next week I messed up in my cap but only difference is I’m using an roller button torch and I gotta run on 116 Amps on an 45 degree angle putting a root pass and cap on a 1/16 gap and either capping it with a 3/32 or 1/16 and but that cup I’m using it’s wayyyy bigger than the one in the video plus my torch im has a curve I don’t have nothing to sit my arm on to keep it steady so I’m thinkingg would it be better than to try to walk to cup it’s like size 8 or 9 I’m normally using an 6 but any suggestions
@@X3MTIG oh did you not use 2.4mm filler wire hmm 3mm filler might work better for myself i shall see if we have any and give it a go with that 👌🏻 always some way to make it easier 💪🏼
Looks like 1/8 tungsten and 7/16 filler wire lol i was thinking the whole time why the huge filler rod. But its probably both 1/8 3/32 would probably be a better choice but if you learn on 1/8 you will like 1/8
I do that, and every other professional welder. The tacks are usually specified in the welding procedure (aka WPS ...stands for welding procedure specification) and you should be provided with a copy of the WPS so read it and adhere to it. There you go, you learned something new today!
Great one! Appreciate the effort you put into making these videos 🙏🏻! Thanks for the subtitles! 👍🏻
My pleasure!
👏🏻Thank you for uploading man, awesome video!
Incredible performance!!!💪🏽
Nice work man💪🏻!
Appreciate it!
Thank you! Great video 😊
Nice job man !!!!!!
Hell yeah, well done 😎
Thanks bud 👍
Greta job 👍👌😁.
Thanks bud 👍
What's the purpose of large filler material with the tacks? I've never seen that done.
Nice techniques, thanks ❤️

is turning your amps up helping keep that puddle up? i always get the puddle falling on my tungsten
Yeah little bit, inclination of your tungsten and travel speed is important.
COK GUZELI REALLY LEARNED SOMETHUNG FROM YOU TANKS

Try with cup #8 and 3/32 rod, and walking the cup would be ideal.
Thanks so much

👏👏👏👏
Good explanation
Thanks 🙏
Nice!!
nice
how do you stop the suck back at the very bottom 6 o’clock just keep heat down?
Yes, or just make heavier root, or go with 3/32 with lower heat.

Nice but I bet that gap was 1/4? Not 1/8 as specified. Did I mention "bon job?
what size tungsten and size of filler rod?

2.4mm both plus gap but all welders have different techniques so maybe 1.6mm filler wire
❤
I did the stick bridge test didn’t pass the root was bad and I didn’t grind it out I didn’t guitar understand the procedure
Sorry to hear that brother, but that's how we learn, "you gotta burn to learn"!
Muito bom
El paso caliente por el espesor del material podría ir mejor a 180 amps
Como faço pra colocar em português
No se
👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤝🤝🤝🤝
Imagine how easy it would be with a consistent feathered edge.
Unimaginable!

I tried this today on 4 sch 40 and I tried walking and I kept on sticking. Is the amperage the same ? Should I freehand instead?
It’s always good to freehand, especially bottom part…
@@X3MTIG ok I’ll try
Who tf puts a bridge tack on a monster ? You’re not purging it do it the right way
