  • Tig ROOT Technique For 6G Welding Test!
This comprehensive guide is designed to help you ace the 6G welding test, a critical certification for professional welders. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced welder looking to refine your skills, this video will provide you with the essential knowledge and techniques needed to succeed.
The 6G welding position is one of the most challenging and sought-after welding certifications. It involves welding a pipe fixed at a 45-degree angle, requiring the welder to navigate and weld in multiple positions. Mastering this technique is crucial for career advancement in the welding industry.
None of these videos are recorded in a fancy shop surrounded by sponsorship banners!
My videos are recorded at working sites in various locations and welding positions.
90% of my welding projects in videos are x-rayed, and if you like to see hands-on projects, welcome!
If you liked this video please give it a thumbs up, share it, subscribe, and click the bell.
It doesn’t cost you anything but massively helps my TH-cam channel. Thank you.

I see some separation part between weld root at 5:18 . I don't know maybe i didn't see as well as i could the root.
I think when you make a video for us you can't focus as much as you need. So i think this video was good enough. Thank you again bro ❤

@@Hamid-az Nah, he's fine. You can see while he's backfeeding/laywiring it, he's breaking down the bevelled edge.
It's impossible to have an edge, because the edge physically broke away, and got replaced with the filler metal, that is what the Keyhole is, it's just the bevel breaking down.
Could he be under and have suckback? Sure, but there will never be lack of penetration with a keyhole cause you can't have that with one.

I see you had a little under cut. I was welding in a coffin, down in the double bottom of a ship. I had to put the filler rod around the pipe, just the get a tack. Once I got it, i was good to go. It's better to let it cool down, I found. You do very nice work. Try standing on your head and weld this up, areal life application. Thanks

Hey bud, thanks for your comment. First of, there is no undercut, second, I don’t have to stand on my head to weld like that, because I did that a lot in my career, now I pick and choose what to weld or simply pass on welders like you! Remember, there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance, stay humble!
