Thank you Sooooo Much for filming this. INCREDIBLE! Now you are a proper Highlander. I knew Scotland was rugged, rainy, and windswept...but I never knew it was this beautiful. That music at 2:15 was an emotional expression of the beauty captured by the drone. This was right out of the Lord of the Rings. Talk about bucket list! I was just salivating over those roads you were traveling. And of course, you were on the perfect motorcycle for those roads.
Am so glad you enjoyed it, I do try and capture how it makes me feel while riding it with the music and the footage so I'm glad it came across. 😊

Scotland has always been a special place in my Heart from passing my driving test in 1981 and wanted to go in a Land Rover it's always been a dream but I'm 60 now, got a Himalayan and planning this trip for 2024, having been to Nairn and no further it's the last day of the year. Happy New Year
As a Yank in the Mid West USA I found this journey to be absolutely stunning. I had no idea Scotland was so beautiful. The RE Himalayan seems well suited to the wiggly roads as well. I see why you bought this motors. Your tale is a true travelogue. Indeed this is on my bucket list for sure. Keep up your sensational work. I’m hooked.

What's great is that nothing has changed from when we used to holiday up there in the 60s, with Dad driving us on these epic adventures. However, what you provide is the epic landscape's magnificence with your wonderful drone footage accompanied by some excellent ambient music - thank you.

Perfect bikes for the job
Was at Clashnessie beach in June. Glorious hot weather and we were the only two on there. The sea was warm and turquoise and so clear you could’ve mistaken it for the Greek islands. Scotland never fails to amaze me

I did some of these roads on a Yamaha XTZ 660 a while back then a little later on a BMW R100RS. I stumbled across your channel as I am about to change bikes and have been watching loads of stuff about the Himalayan. I have been on a BMW R1200RT for ten years now. I love the bike, and in a way will be sorry to see it go, but I want something more suitable for small, steep, nadgery (is that a word!) roads. I know the little RE will not be able to blast up the motorway, but a steady 60 is fine by me. Great videos by the way, really enjoying them and they brought back some great memories. I'll be back up there soon while I'm still able, despite the dreaded midges!

I see you stopped at Flossie's. That's next to Clachtoll beach campsite. Great site with good facilities. Neverending views on that stretch. 👍

I’m planning my bucket list trip to do a complete lap of Britain’s coastline and have been trying to decide which bike to use. Your adventures have shown me it would be a big mistake to do it on a heavy, big capacity tourer - you just don’t need one! So a ‘Roger’ is now high on my shortlist - thank you 👍

I have seen some other riders on the NC500 and I must say it seems like you are more "into the country" if you know what I mean. You are not taking the easy roads. Hey Charlie, what a great leg of the journey. There's a beauty that is unique to places that some might call desolate, i think it's good for your soul to be away ( mostly) from the hustle and bustle of every day life and just enjoy a rugged landscape that has remained largely untouched. Every turn in the road brings new wonders and views to remember for ever.

Lazy, Leisurely route... Stunning and awesome, not 50 yards, a twist, turn, over a brow. Glad you'd filmed it all. I've not kept my eyes on the road... ..
Watching at 12:00 before you turned round and just in drone footage, whitewashed Croft & grey slate roof, where you'd not expect a property.
Location for anyone, it's not a quick trip to a supermarket. It's likely Fish or Mutton.!
It would be a shame about the plans for the church. Good if it was something to benefit the locals.
