It was a brilliant show and I enjoyed it more than NEC, this year. I was there the same day as you but only saw Dana and her husband, from `Biker Stuff` channel. Pity the weather was so crap for your ride home.

Absolutely Classic..🤣 .. To been down to the Show would be as far as your trip up to the Staffordshire Bike Show 20-21 April.. the venue is the same, a Show ground, parking is just a stoney track and fields, hope not muddy for the weather so far this year..! Himalaya eats it up.. it's not to have himi fall over parked or someone elsewise fall on himi..!.
You've got it wet there too, judging Sandy's ride outs and garden of the Meet up place.
The man behind the Gent after the Bonnie was bidding him up..of the bikes sold, he paid dearly, more than would have elsewise.. watch back the video..

@@restdayrider Yep.. I wonder on the thinking, as a Bike event the parking is bad, it's down to a Showground location, unlike the NEC.. which for trade, don't want people getting muddy..!

Very nice video, thanks for posting. The muddy road for bikes and no 'bike only' parking area, is a good indication of the mindset of the organisers.

Thanks for posting Charlie, just love your style of video 😁 We went on the Sunday, boy it was cold and wet! Felt a bit guilty driving (we did come from Suffolk for the weekend though😅) but was amazed at how many had also driven. Plenty were stuck in the mud at hometime too. Enjoyed the show, my first bike show since the early 90's 🤓
And what a great effort all the exhibitors went to to put on a great show 👋👋

Great presentation and content, any thanks for “taking us with you”. I never get tired of watching such bike oriented videos. Those were two brilliant venues. So sorry you got wet though.

Well, that auction room was, as they say, Stone Cold.
The Bonneville sold smoothly enough, but there was little competition among bidders.
Some were on line, but I suspect the lots were very individual taste.

Great video really good to see the show again , I used to go every year when I lived in chepstow, I see that the Pembrokeshire vintage classic motorcycle club were showing there which I'm with now in wet windy west wales lol 😂

Brilliant video Charlie plus the big bonus of Henry Cole 👏👏👏👏👏 I was just thinking that Henry would love that auction then you move to the show and there he is. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 hope you didn’t get too wet on the way home. I only rode 10 miles home from my girlfriend’s and got soaked. But at least Wales was dry🤣😂🤣😂🤣.

Thanks Charlie for the video. I’m a big fan of auctions which can be a lot of fun, provided that you exercise some discipline . You could go home with a serious hole in your bank account.. Hi Peter, did you happen to catch my review vlog of the lone rider? Basically, I love it!
The build quality is excellent, really well thought out for a solo person putting up and taking down. I travelled with it moving every day for 2 weeks in France and 10 days in Scotland, with no problems at all. ( BTW if you do decide to go for it, if you use the link on my vlog I get a small nod from LR, but rest assured I wouldn't enforce something I didn't 100% have faith in!)

Hate to be comparing cultures but that was unlike any auction I have ever attended. Over here they are a hive of activity and sound and move quickly, operating both indoors and out. That "auction" seemed more like a group of morticians discussing casket prices! Very nice riding content though, as always.
More genteel and for enthusiasts rather than brash bread heads and all the better for it.

I think it was 12%, but then there is VAT on top.
