One correction.. the big black box behind the rear suspension that the muffler connects to is not a CAT converter. It's just a Resonator which is mainly to alter and control the sound as per regulation norms and it has very little pollution control and back pressure control. In ADV 390/250 BS6/EU5 models the 2 stage cat converter that is required is in the front of the exhaust pipe (front botton of the engine) that's the 1st stage and 2nd stage is actually inside the exhaust pipe itself after the 1st cat stage upto the resonator module. so removing the resonator doesn't affect the emmissions and back pressure that much and only bypases the sound control :). so there won't be any noticable performance increase RR system is just a resonator bypas pipe and the muffler. If you want performance you have to buy the full system link pipe or exhaust bundle :) and if anyone who are worried about getting caught for altering exhaust(looks), there is resonator delete pipe available so that they can keep the stock muffler because most cops just looks at the muffler setup when checking, if it looks stock it's 80%safe and you still saves around 4Kg of weight
@@travmoto46 Oh .. I see.. that's cool :).. make sure to add a fuelX fuel optimizer as well, just in case if the ratio becomes lean. also a friend said the low end torque issue and the low rpm knocking is improved as well :)
@Harikrishnan - I thought of added but I have received many updates from many Adv riders that it not good and it doesn’t help, so I’m little sceptical and confused.
Yes it does as per all dealers. No I have not experienced such situation, but if u install branded and original exhaust it will not affect the bike and the engine.
Hi.. How is the top end performance with RR exhaust. I was told that, it'll be good at low and mid-range and there will be power drop at top end. Please share your experience. TIA
@Srekkanth- it’s really good and I have been using from last 1.5 yrs and it has great output.. Top end is good depend how u ride. I have clocked 165 kmph
@ Anuj Agarwal - it’s a ktm power part replica design by Yana world.. it cheap and it made of aluminium and it strong n can take a hit… Telling you with my own experience..
Sir, can you please make a review video of Yana Bashplate that you're using. It looks so cool, almost similar to KTM powerparts. Kind request. Thank you.
Great review Richard. Has removing the resonator affected your shims or are there any long-term impacts you have noticed? Also, with regards to the custom header pipes...how is the heat management while navigating through traffic?
@frewinfrancis - Thank you for appreciating, and thank you for reaching out as well. No impact all working good till date and also in regards to heat it's minimal and i believe you can manage.
Awesome information sir. Waiting for this kind of review regarding red rooster performance exhaust👍. Can I get the information regarding the custom bend pipe manufacturer that you have got on your bike ☺. Thanks in advance 👍
@STRIKER - thank you for your kind words🤘🤘.. I got the bend pipe done from my friend at his workshop which in Pune… It is hand made.. He runs his business as @Grounddesign. Please do share with your friends and subscribe..
@Trechaveller - time to time service, run yr bike on constant speed.. change air filler, spark plug , fuel x injector, and performance exhaust only. Good engine oil

Hi sir
I've a question
Does installing a slip on voids our warranty ?
Have u dealt with such in ur experience?
Yes it does as per all dealers. No I have not experienced such situation, but if u install branded and original exhaust it will not affect the bike and the engine.
That looks great
@timothybrockbank7474 - thank you 🤩
The link is for the low position one, where did you get the rised exhaust system, it looks awesome bro.
I have custom made the link piper from @grounddesign

@STRIKER - THANK YOU FOR REACHING OUT🤘
hey does it have any effect on mileage??
@ajinkyakarande5048 - no the mileage that I get is 35 to 40 without any problem
perfect review!....does it affect fuel efficiency?
@DLPSR - Thank you 🙏. No it doesn’t beat if u kept revving at high speed then you will find yourself low in fuel efficiency
any changes in mileage you noticed?
@Trechaveller - honestly i get 35 with city and on highway way 38, 39 or 40.. All depends on speed.
any suggestions to bring out good mileage?
