Shame about the generic 3d polygonal graphics. Why just why put that kind of graphics in a 2d game, just imagine how the game would look like with amazing 2d art style with the new tech, muramasa for Wii for example, wasted potential.
I hope we another Contra Anniversary Collection II with Contra 4, Contra ReBirth, Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX, Contra: Shattered Soldier, Neo Contra and Hard Corps: Uprising.

Not really, because this was on the Nintendo DS, which had two screens. And the reason the stuff in the middle sorta disappears is because the two screens had a gap between them where the hinges were, and some developers took that into consideration when designing games for it.

Why is the split between the upper and lower screens so obvious?
(15/16) years later, Konami & WayForward once again create a new sequel of Contra game, "Contra: Operation Galuga", will coming soon in early 2024.

It's not a sequel. It's more like an re-imagining of the original Contra.

I've never been able to get very far in this one. It's a pretty unforgiving game.
Not ashamed to admit I had to action replay with a friend to eventually get through this, mad difficult

You can play ALL the levels too in normal mode. In Easy mode the Last one Is the 7. But in normal oir hard mode you can play ALL levels
