If you havent played the original contra game back in the days you wont appreciate this remake. Its a retro game and its been true with this. Play something else then at 4K 60fps
Gameplay looks cool, graphics are nice, animation is smooth, but one thing I’m just not feeling is the background music. One of the aspects of the original Contra that stood out was the music, which was top notch at the time and still holds up. The music in this reboot, however, sounds like an afterthought.
this was back in the 90s, I was 7 years old playing this favorite game! The classic Contra game, now made more modern and not forgetting the original theme and background.. very cool!!!

This is like the first and third stage of the original Contra in the Family Computer Combined as a first level of this new Contra for the Playstation 5.
I like how whn this person acquired the spreader, nothing or no other weapon mattered...just like back in the day. We would debate on who would be able to get it first depending on who it was yesterday after school...ah dem were the days...(I do see they put more variety into weapons now...spreader gonna always be the best though...js)
I have a feeling that the game mechanics of the games from the 80's up to the early 2000's and the game art and style will comeback in this much more modern era of gaming! REWIND TO THE PAST THEN FASTFORWARD TO THE FUTURE!

The last time I played Contra game was back in the 1990s in my Family Computer back home in the Philippines lol. The graphics now is much better than before. I don’t have PS4 or PS5, but if I have, I would definitely play this game. I still play Super Mario in my Nintendo 3DS 😊. And I also play my Nintendo Switch games such as Super Smash Bros, Super Bomberman R, Gear Club Unlimited etc.

I remember in the years of 80, years of nintendo era. There were many game competitions to finish this game as fast as possible. Can you finish this game in 20 minutes or less?. Use spread and rapid rapid rapid rapid, keep running and don't stop even when you fight the boss.
Look at this stupidity of Konami's "designers" from 4:05 , out of 8 blue turrets, only one fired a bullet at Bill, and Bill destroyed the others as a joke.... Bullets should be flying everywhere, it should be difficult for the player, there should be a challengе but here I can only see a lemonade
All I can say is that this better be free to download, I understand nostalgia but no way should anyone with a PS5 be expected to actually pay money for this mobile game. They literally just replaced the assets with HD ones.

In the final version there are better songs and you can play with Contra 4's songs
