I'm in need of the wiring harness adapter to change it over to a aftermarket radio where did you find yours at ? So that way it's nothing but plug-and-play I have never seen this type of wiring harness connector my 85 S10 doesn't have the same setup
Hey @jptheinstallguy i have a hyundai sonata 2006 and i saw the radio video and i cant find the wiring guide or the one with the steering wheel controls
JP, can you install multiple steros to the same speakers. My S10 Blazer is a 92. It came with the cassette, am/fm radio. I am old school and would like to add an 8 track player. I would upgrade the radio, but I love my cassette tapes. My daughter gave me a walmart radio, with bluetooth for your phone, and I am debating adding it.
You wont find a double din dash kit for one of those years. I don't think anybody makes one. If you do decide to go with a double din radio in one of the first generation S10's, it'll have to be a custom job. At the very least you have to cut the bezel at the top and bottom and glue some panels on the sides of the opening to cover the hole. And if you want the new radio to fit a little flush, you have to modify the hvac vents that run behind the radio in order to have it sit further in the opening. I was contemplating doing all that and just figured fuket, I'll just install a single din in there and be done with it.
Great video. Plus your commentary is mildly entertaining
In the cut 😂😂
