If he got checked every time for no reason, it probably has to do with a name identical to someone being wanted. It happens a lot with Chinese names because those names are easily mixed up when spelled in English, but also happens with other names.
I suspect it was because of his disproportionate response the first time that led to a note on his passport. I suspect he's been making worse each time.
Dont compare your chinese names to African names. If I was an immigration officer I'd be more wary of the chinese coming in than the West Africans, given the recent records of the chinese in the West of late
Oh yeah, a lot of things can raise a flag of something. The best you can do is smile and answer their questions. You have to plan with enough time to know things like that.

Exactly. As far as West Africans go he's a lucky guy (British citizenship, Australian wife) yet he still views himself as a victim. He should go and live back in Nigeria for a while and grow up.
I would suggest he goes back to WestAfrica whichever country he is from, using his current privileged status, work there to raise & develop it's standard/standing in the world & be some one special as you apparently aspire to be treated. He can live with UK passport rest of his life in any European country he will always be treated the same way like any normal citizen with special scrutiny based on your origin so get back buddy & raise your nation & be the special person you want to be. Someday you will get a red carpet welcome😂 Note Being an Indian 71 having lived in a dozen countries, Chilean passport & family, am very proud & face these situations due to my physical appearance/origin..I take it easy & talk to them only for a few minutes & in all occasions the air changes imdtly Deserve respect Don't desire Have a good day everyone❤
because it's always your race victimizing everybody. They hardly do that to white people, when your race visit foreign countries right? It's only when foreigners visit your countries. Hypocrite much?
What the Black dude does not know is that he probably acted up on his first or second stops and got him self blacklisted for all future visits. If he had acted normally on his past stops, it would have been unlikely for him to get that many repeated stops at customs! Besides, unfortunately, he has no choice but to live under the bad image that his fellow Nigerians have cultivated! Having a British or Australia passport, still has you identified therein as originally from Nigeria!
Roberto acts the same as accused criminals on internet police shows that holler racist very frequently. No one has singled him or them out particularly, they simply seem to have no self-control, and think that they are being victimized. I don't see it.
Dude can’t even afford decent hotel w/ $200.. Get a job and stock up in saving before trying to get some play. She should stay away from this strange guy.
The Teddy bear guy, Brian's, main purpose of visit to Austrailia is to meet his online gf and see if it can turn into a meaningful and real relationship. I hope it did. The girl was crying because someone had coming so far to meet her and got in trouble with border security. Hope the two are still together.
No she doesn't. He made a powerplay and she reluctantly said yes after debating it a long time. That's a terrible basis for a relationship. How is he going to get home with 200 dollars? once he's there for a month the airlines won't give him a ticket and now she's stuck.
I love how after that outburst, the customs officer then DID drop some racial profiling about how people from West Africa or African Americans are likely to accuse of racism 😂. What a dinosaur.
The airport workers trying to catch a bird reminded me of a similar situation. I worked at a hospital and there was a bat flying past the nurses station one night. A coworker and I managed to get it trapped between doors at either end of a corridor that didn’t have patient rooms. We called security for assistance as housekeeping wouldn’t help. The security guard was ridiculing us because we were afraid of a bird but I repeatedly told him it was a bat. He didn’t believe me. He swaggered into the area with a bucket that he planned on catching it and we were able to watch him through the small window. He got close to the bat, but when he raised the bucket to try and trap it, the bat flew straight at him. The man tossed the bucket and literally ran straight at the door we were at, but it had taken us a bit to get the bat away from the patient areas and the bat was right behind him so we held the door shut. He was begging for us to open the door and we told him to wait until it moves away or go to the opposite end where another nurse was at as we didn’t want it loose again. Another employee went in the opposite door, brought a broom and a bucket to try and capture it but the guard wouldn’t help. The other employee finally had it contained so we opened the door and as the guard came out, I facetiously asked him why he was so afraid of a harmless bird. He stalked off with a red face everyone laughing at him. We occasionally see loose birds at large grocery stores or hardware stores, but the employees generally ignore them.
Tbh bats are pretty dangerous to handle because they carry a lot of diseases, including the one that shall not be named. But him ridiculing others who were just simply asking for help is a bit too far. When I was in high school, we had a bat that entered into our assembly hall and we ended up calling animal control just in case.
That black guy claimed his was treated like that every time, does all the other blacks treated the same? It is does, that is already in mainstream news.I doubted his honestly. Furthermore, he was rude.
Customs officers have to target profiles that have proven to be problematic. Its unfortunate for him, but if west Africans have consistently proven to often be smugglers, scammers or fraudsters then this is the result.

Don’t worry mate, I get the same poor treatment and I’m an Australian citizen. I must say the rudest airport in Australia I have been to is Melbourne (the city I was born and live in), for context my ancestral background is middle eastern.
I completely understand the West African man. The number of times I've wanted to go off like this when I am singled out simply for the color of my skin. I agree with him 100%, if you're black and travel often, 90% of the time it will take you longer to leave the airport. I travel a lot and this happens to me all the time. The man has guts, and if you see their other videos, they always will check people from africa.
@londiwenombuso3229 Yep, not just black people thou also happen to my friends. If they wear burkah or have citizenship like from countries like Iran. They also get stopped
Immigration have the right to inspect question everyone regardless of times. From the US where jobs abound and have only $200 doesn't make sense. Having enough money while travelling is a form of security. Also should carry travel insurance just in case of medical emergency.

Australia is packed with racism, people don't understand Roberto's frustration. As an Asian student I was asked to do a random drug swipe/explosive swipe, all the swipe test there is, almost everything I cross the boarder (even travelling out). One time I jokingly asked the officer, is that the way I look? I get asked to do this "random" test consistently (of courses he said no), while my partner who always travelled with me never got asked. In my case, it's just a swipe test which I was sure it will always return negative, as a criminology student I really didn't mind, but to have the treatment that Roberto was experiencing every time, it infuriates.
Roberto demanding those 2 customers officers explain for the 27million people of Australia making him feel a certain way was pretty insane.
@@The_Joy_Finder he probably has a record of being rude and being a male karen

My thoughts exactly I’m Sri Lankan and am Australian citizen but I get pulled over to get searched and the way I figure it is if I got nothing to hide then it go smoothly furthermore I like to be organised with my travel plan with all my travel documents in a folder so I can answer all security offers questions about why I’m coming to their country for what I be doing for how long make sure I have accommodation and flights booked and have enough money for my holiday that’s all they want to make sure your here for genuine reasons
Someday you will get a red carpet welcome😂

Wow I can say that this episode is the most intensely emotional I’ve watched.
Good job with the bird. It was touch and go for a bit there. Well done.
Black people complaining about stereotypes by reinforcing said stereotypes.
Roberto acts the same as accused criminals on internet police shows that holler racist very frequently. No one has singled him or them out particularly, they simply seem to have no self-control, and think that they are being victimized. I don't see it.
Now I'm sad, knowing we'll never get an update on Brian and his love interest & Mr. Red.
Next case here we go...
Love the Program and very informative thank you.
Dude can’t even afford decent hotel w/ $200.. Get a job and stock up in saving before trying to get some play. She should stay away from this strange guy.

There is no way it ended well for her.
The Teddy bear guy, Brian's, main purpose of visit to Austrailia is to meet his online gf and see if it can turn into a meaningful and real relationship. I hope it did. No she doesn't. He made a powerplay and she reluctantly said yes after debating it a long time. That's a terrible basis for a relationship. How is he going to get home with 200 dollars? once he's there for a month the airlines won't give him a ticket and now she's stuck.

Lock the door! Yeah, the bird will surely open the door if it’s not locked

Of course. This was filmed about 20 years ago.
Lol. He obviously watched too many vampire movies as a kid.
Tbh bats are pretty dangerous to handle because they carry a lot of diseases, including the one that shall not be named. But him ridiculing others who were just simply asking for help is a bit too far. When I was in high school, we had a bat that entered into our assembly hall and we ended up calling animal control just in case.
That black card gotta stop and im a native. Shame
Most times it's a reality . Duh!
You should of canceled the bird 🐦 visa too ,, 😂😂😂.
Well Brian seemed like a nice fella.
Washington Airport has dozens of birds . It's funny watching them fly around and the passengers just shrug like it's normal 😅
If you get stopped every time at custom because of your skin colour. No doubt anyone would have reacted the same way
easy to talk when you're not the victim.

The West African of British citizenship plays the race card just as many Black Americans play the race card. It gets to be rather tiring.
They're all the same; Get mad. Get loud.
It can of course be for various reasons, like acting weird, but 7 out of 7 times when something like 1/100 gets searched does indicate something... It's not very far fetched to think it has to do with race.
If he thinks Australia needs to get its act together, then maybe he needs to look for a better place to live !! I'll bet Nigeria wouldn't be on his list. As for his "wife" who's ashamed to call herself Australian, same goes for her. Can anyone imagine what Nigerian customs would do if an Australian arrived there and behaved like he did? !!
As with many Americans, they don't travel much and have no idea about how far we are from the USA .. so I don't blame him for being underprepared.
Their race card is invalid and so are their insane accusations. We are sick of them!
Chill out agressive guy
Going to another country with $200??!! That is very sad, he must be a fool.

Yeah... He was the nice guy. She was a worry. If it had been the other way around, and a female arriving to be looked after for a holiday, it'd be a different kettle of fish .. the Aussie male would look after the American. Maybe it gets down to males look after females, but females don't look after males (?)!
Think the British Passport holder of West African descent was just a drama king wanting attention. So sad that his partner said that she was ashamed of being Australian as Australia is perhaps the fairest country in the world
What about the two-legged birds ? 😂😂

Then don’t go there if you don’t want to be checked? Stay in your own country.
How many times have I wanted to scream in stores "I'm not stealing anything!!! Stop following me!!!" But if I do, I'm labeled the crazy aggressive one. Whatever. Also, people who don't have similar experiences need not respond. This comment isn't for you :)
I'm not black and get checked frequently. By cashiers, by security and by police. I don't understand the west african man or anyone who plays the race card. But I do find them amusing.
To any country i travel, i always get informed about what i can bring in, the way of life, then there's no problème.
There's a reason why I have ZERO desire to travel to Australia, ever...never seen such hostility!
that race card again. hilarious.
The officers mentioned that they often get trouble from W Africans. So obviously they have a legit reason to be checking him.
I resent being told we get a lot of hassle from people from West Africa. -Continues causing a hassle.

Omg that PC is vintage.. this is not current time line right?
The man from Nigeria who was targeted 7 times in 8 years upon entry had a valid point which the customs official seemed to pooh-pooh as unimportant.
I guarantee that he hasn’t been told west Africans are trouble makers. He seems pretty angry at someone that didnt say that to him, so maybe he needs to chill out. I’ve had my bags searched and been frisked and x-rayed, is it because I’m white? I’m sure customs know that drug traffickers are any age and any nationality. If you give too much attention to a particular group then all the rest will get through. Doesn’t ring true to me.
How do you know, they only had his word for it. Wouldn't trust him one little bit,

Double standards, you didn't even interview the bird to ensure it is domestic 😅.

You have to go by statistics and more often than not certain countries I’m afraid, are known for trafficking
Now I'm curious. Do they have any ep/ instance where they catch a (alive) exotic animal like those big spiders or a python maybe?
I was put into a room in Dover because I handed in a French passport but I speak fluent english without an accent. Turned out to be a funny story but that's for another time.
You may speak English without an accent, but you wrote "but" twice. By the way, everyone has an accent. You probably have an accent from the region of France you come from.
8:06 he ain’t wrong.
I agree with him 100%, if you're black and travel often, 90% of the time it will take you longer to leave the airport. I travel a lot and this happens to me all the time. The man has guts, and if you see their other videos, they always will check people from africa.
After 911, it was people of middle eastern appearance that got the sharp end of the stick when it comes to travel checks
Undiluted truth right there.
I don't think scared birds get tired.

12:30 People like him disgust me. The purpose of custom is not discrimination but to ensure safe traffic to Australia. Guy is like a psychic vampire who sucks the energy out of others. Sorry for his wife.
That poor little sparrow.
Roberto demanding those 2 customers officers explain for the 27million people of Australia making him feel a certain way was pretty insane. Don't know why his wife feels embarrassed to be Australian and not for her husband acting like a toss. If he behaved normally he might not have issues... I get the feeling he was walking through customs staring down all the officers probably expecting to get searched and got searched only to act like they fell for his trapcard.. like nah you were acting like a toss and you deserve to have your time wasted the next 7 times you come to Australia.
They need to impose more than 3 years exclusion. These ID stealers need like ten years exclusion
