@Thomas Morningstar not so, I have several friends who are hikers/ backpackers, and they do it all, filming editing and uploading themselves. Many also use drones,
They will put the camera in a place, walk past it, out of sight, then return for the camera, this is edited out, so you can see just how much work it is for them to bring us these amazing videos to watch from the comforts of home,

Featherville really ought to be called a settlement. I've been there several times, passing through on my way to nearby places where I wanted to hunt deer. Easy to see how something like the fabled Sasquatch could hang out in that area. Hunting alone in that general neck of the woods, not all that far from Featherville as the crow flies, I've twice had a very strong feeling of being watched, but I never could locate who or what was watching me. Cool story. Thanks for sharing.

I think if that was my property, a lot of trees would get cut back to encourage certain things to go away. I watch Outdoor Gear Review and the guy that does it just goes on little trips to Review different camping gear. He is very much just the facts and doesn't get into anything paranormal. On his Thanksgiving video he heard something following him and thought it was a bear. On the way back he heard it again but it was real clear and obviously bipedal. It was pretty fun to watch, but you could tell it spooked him. Keep up with the good stories.👍👍👍

It’s interesting how people react differently to danger; it’s very sad that Logan learned that he is not a competent person in a crisis..and needed his friend to make decisions to save him…
. But David also learned a lot about himself that night; he’s IS a survivor and can make critical decisions in a crisis and act upon them, AND he did NOT abandon his friend and do the “ every man for himself “ thing. David is the guy you want in your foxhole…it has probably made him a more confident and successful person.

You know Chris, in the winter if places are inaccessible, you could maybe have a corner of a room in your home that you turn into a winter grotto and sit in there for the video, or if you have a log fire, do it there in the dark with your lantern and your beer. I think the stories are the main thing and the woods is extra. There's a lot of lonely isolated people out there and reading the comments it seems that some of those people have found you and they really look forward to their sunday night because of you and your stories. So it would be a shame to have to stop it when there's a blizzard. But no point getting hypothermia or risking your neck just to tell a story. You may have your own ideas, so it's just a thought. Best wishes to you

Back in the early 90's I was camping up in the Forlorn Lakes in the Cascade Mts in Washington state. It was about 2 am and I got up to go to the bathroom outside. It was a moonlit night so I could see pretty good. There were only 2 camp sights there and the other was empty. You could see all the way across the lake in this pretty remote area. I then heard a scream but it wasn't a scream from across the lake. It really scared me so I hurriedly finished and jumped back in the trailer. I have camped all my life and never heard a sound like that. About 12 years or so later I was watching a show about Bigfoot on the Discovery Channel and they had a recording of a Bigfoot yell. It was the exact same sound I heard at the lake that night.
Another time after that my dad and brother were elk hunting in the Blue Mts Washington. There was 4-5 feet of snow that had fallen while they were up there and they decided to leave. Be fore they left they were looking out across a ravine to the opposite side and saw what they said was a "hunter" all dressed in black😆 and walking swiftly through this deep snow until it disappeared into the trees. There was no road or trail where this "hunter" was walking. They got the binoculars on it right as it entered the trees so didn't get a clear look. As they were walking back to the truck my brother walking behind my dad slid the bolt on his rifle and my dad jumped. My brother's only comment was, "So you do believe" To this day neither will say it was Bigfoot.

Great one. I experienced something similar up in the northern woods of Washington with my grandfather as a kid. Him being a retired Bush pilot who couldn't explain what we saw has stuck with me to this day.

Hi Chris...I love listening to you tell your stories on this channel...They are always very interesting and scary and you tell them so well...I know you are a seasoned hiker and camper but I often wonder how you can be out in the woods by yourself...I'm afraid to go out to my car after dark!!!

This was a great story Chris! The scary part for me was when you described how the glowing eyes launched over to the tree trunk and began climbing upwards! Just the visual of that gave me chills and then let’s add some howling from the creatures...omg I can’t imagine the adrenaline rush that one would feel knowing you’re in danger! I too, would have made a run for it as fast as I could go pulling my friend along probably screaming my head off! Wow, this was a scary story and I might have to leave the lamp on again! Thanks for sharing and stay safe out there!! 😬

Dad seen something and let his kid go stay out there?? Father of the year LoL
That would have been intense, choosing to flee is a sketchy decision to, that entices a predator to chase.. Thank you for the great story, stay blessed

Another good one! Honestly, at that age, i don't think i would have been able to keep my composure like that one young man did! Looking forward to another hot-tent video, also would enjoy another ghost-town or old mining town/stealth camping adventure. I really appreciate the work you put into these videos!

Good one Chris! Enjoyed the spookiness, but felt sorry those boys went thru such a terrifying experience. Poor Logan! I often take a drive thru a wooded area a few miles from my house. There's a guy who has a property there which I really like. He's got all sorts of stuff; bee hives, sunflowers for the bees, a unique shed that he built, an above ground swimming pool, and lately he added...A SASQUATCH! Yes! It's in a clump of trees at the edge of his property. I laughed when I saw it and immediately thought of your scary stories. You mentioned your canvas tent with the woodstove. I've been wondering if you still had it. Stories by the fire will be nice during the cold winter nights. Take care. Love your channel.

Really love your stories, Chris. Thank you ! One thing that sits with me is that no one is ever attacked. If these creatures exist, they could very easily kill people but I haven't heard of this. Seems to me they just use the means to scare you out of their area.

What a great story!!! Always look forward to Sunday evenings to watch and listen to your stories and the flavor of beer you chose for the night. How creepy that you heard something behind you and you kept the story going. Glad you don’t have a long hike out afterwards. I know it would be hard for me to hike out after the story and in the dark. Keep them coming as long as you can love them always.

Hi Chris... not sure if you came across a recent comment of mine relating to the 'ghost-like' dark figure of a very large creature in heavy fog, which came out of dense forest and slowly walked across a gravel road approximately 10 to 15 feet in front of us, at Great Otways National Park, Victoria, Australia... back in the early 90's.
Have just found a couple of stories where both a US National Parks Ranger, plus a couple driving together through Yosemite NP, witnessed very similar creatures (by their independent accounts), under similar conditions... one on a clear night and the other in heavy night fog. Yet each said the creature appeared dark in colour but ghostly.
Nice to have collaborating details from both sides of the Pacific. I'm the "when l see it l will believe it" guy. My friend and l certainly know what we saw, so it's even more interesting now, knowing we are not alone in viewing this creature or apparition.
