Thank you! So many things you said totally resonated with me, recognizing what the mind is telling me, staying in the present moment and more! Extremely helpful! Thanks again!💗
Oh my goodness! This video is spot on! 10 years ago I lost 30 lbs. Fast forward and now post menopausal it’s back. I give myself daily goals like exercise, water intake, protein, etc. while the weight is very slowly coming off I feel like the uphill climb is getting easier snd setbacks aren’t disabling. The journey is far from over but I have the momentum to keep going. I’m going to save this video for when I need a pep talk!❤
Man this video for me was just the kick I needed to get going. I’ve just been unable to get started. I’m a 69-year-old woman with 20 lbs to lose. I go from overwhelmed to I will get started but the negative chatter kicks in. I’m going to take your advice and let the end goal stop being the focus. I’m sure I can make good decisions moment by moment, meal by meal and ultimately day by day. This has super encouraged me. I’m starting today to have a good day and not wait until the end to be happy, feel good, and be the best version of me. I have been focusing on the end and it just slams me to the floor. Again, thanks for such a thought provoking video. God bless you Dani.
1) Take focus away from end goal, focus on daily goals!! Control our daily process! Refining your daily processes! Change is a decision…in the present moment! How u feel here, u r going to feel there! Be compassion with ourselves now !! Relationships with ourself , our external environment, ability to forgive yourself! Have self belief!! 2) Be clear on daily action!! If u have obstacles, tackle it, don’t give up. Make realistic commitment. Eg, eat 3 meals a day, no snacking, 10k steps, drink 2-3 litres, go to bed by 10-10.30 pm. Do weights 3 times a week. Thanks for the tips Danni!! I can do it! I must not comfort eat! If I do I ask myself why and be kind to myself and start again tomorrow!! Don’t give up !!! 10 lbs to lose!!! But make sure I am happy.. slow steady process. ❤🎉
This video is on point!! It reminds me of a chapter in "The Calm Within: Cultivating Clarity" by mind-bloomery that focus on mastering mental clarity to overcome stress and stay consistent. Once I applied that mindset, sticking to my workouts and meal plans became so much easier.
Such a awesome video! Your children are so lucky to have such an awesome Mom! You are giving all of us the power to chose the right direction for our health goals. Thank you Dani!
I love the concept of always asking myself how to take the best care of me at this very moment instead of focusing on the end goal. I have been removing myself from the outside world more and more every day for several years, to the point that I don't even want to leave the house or interact with family. This feels doable. I will absolutely watch the 3-part video training next and I will save this video to watch over and over.
You are so wise and real with your words about the subject of weight loss it’s really about creating healthy eating habits everyday wherever we are and being conscious and caring about the choices we choose every day! Thank you! ❤❤❤
Thank you, really motivated me to take my mind off the scale and focus on my daily goals and hitting those short term goals and in turn the long term goals will come.
Really GREAT, Dani!! "We don't control the outcome, we only control what we do right now" definitely resonated with me. I'm going to listen to this nice little talk daily:) Thanks so much for this video!
It also helped me to say to myself to stay consistent and not perfect, and it will take at least a year to see any results. I've always wanted weight to fall off faster, but it never did.
I have had to watch my weight for the last 52 years. I’ve always been able to cut back and eat carefully and lose weight. I’m 58 years old now and it’s a whole different ballgame. It’s very sad. I’m being so very careful with my carbs and I’ll walk a lot and it’s just crazy different at this age. Even being positive and wanting it so desperately!! Also there so few people that i see that truly have struggled with weight so desperately their entire life and especially at this menopausal age, that are working so hard to loose it, that make successful videos. Most of the time it’s people that have been thin their entire lives trying to teach someone else that’s heavy and always had to fight it, how to lose it.
Oh, wow!!!! This is EXACTLY what I needed today! I'm definitely going to work on switching my mindset to this way of approaching my health goals. You're amazing!
I cant even stay with - I'll do just today! I fail!! I definitely need to take the present moment at a time!! Yes, perfectionist is a killer!! Sometimes tho the negative thoughts arent just our owns but how we grew up and what we were told. Dieting also includes working on self-esteem!! Thank you for your help and the kick in the pants. I will play this again!! ...and again!
Thank you Dani.💕 This was such great advice. It gave me perspectives I so needed. Focus on the day to day , not the end goal really hit home. Funny, two days ago I refocused my mindset in this manner. Hearing this you gave me confidence I’m on the right track. Plus it has made me feel better and do better things for myself. This video will be on my replay list.Lol..🌱🌱🌱TY.❤️
Dani, I love your common sense. I realize that I have a bad relationship with food. The noise in my head categorizes food as good or bad. I can’t even eat out with friends or family because I’m so hyper focused on the points, the carbs, ..... How can I get passed this toxic thinking?
I just started a podcast on intentional manifesting and will give a shout-out to you for this video. I've been watching you for years. I love your content. ❤
If only we could mute those food thoughts like a TV remote! It always helps me to fill my mind with books, quotes, podcasts, etc that help me to strengthen and direct my thought processes. XO
2025 is hopefully the year for big changes and health improvements. This video is motivational and just what I needed. Great timing! Great video!! Thank you ❤
Hi Dani I am a 24 year old female. I have been trying to lose the last 20 pounds for years with diets, diet drops fasting all kinds of crazy stuff and I always end up binging on sugar because it’s so restrictive. I started now eating overnight oats and working out everyday - even just 20 mins just everyday. I haven’t been able to get to my goal weight for years. Any tips?? I feel like weight loss should be faster for me since I’m younger but I did undereat a lot so I think my metabolism is shot. Please any tips would be helpful. Thanks!
**unpopular opinion coming through here** sorry in advance At some point though one has to determine how important this change is to one’s self. Speaking from experience, on the flip side the danger of too much forgiveness is a complete lack of accountability. There has to be a balance there somewhere.
I hope this mindset hack is helpful! Let me know. XO
You’re the best, Dani! Always appreciate your suggestions and perspectives! ❤

For me - I deal with chronic pain & I guess food helps me feel better in the moment 😢
Yes. Chronic pain can take my days over if I let up and give in. Food is often my distraction.
Thanks for this. Good vibes.... ;)
My pleasure! Thanks for watching.

Can I lose weight and get a better body at 49? I feel so discouraged!
Great insight quick question did you attend the Psychology Of Eating Program?
Yes! Many years ago... LOVED the program.
OMG I've put on 4kg in the time it's taken u to get there
... i just love to eat- and apparently its too much, too often.
Maybe with the end of tik Tok people will get off their butts and start moving and losing weight.
I've seen many people that just love to eat and could care less about losing weight.
