    Thank you Ellen. I just found you a couple weeks ago and now I look so forward to your videos. I’ve learned things from you in the short times that I never knew existed on my iPad or iPhone. I used to be a real computer nerd and was up on everything all the time but now as I’m a bit older,.. quite a bit. 😂 I find it takes me longer to learn some things. That breaks my heart but I guess the learning is helping to keep me up on my toes. You have a way of explaining things that make it so much easier to understand.

      Thanks so much for the kind words Pat! I appreciate you joining the Live Q&A. The computer skills definitely keep you sharp. I love the iPhone and iPad.

    Ellen-so glad to get this information and your example was perfect. Before your video, when I found a product on Amazon, I took a picture and then added it to photos. Once purchased or no longer wanted, I deleted the photo. But that method added even more photos to my roll and then I had it on the ipad another 30 days or so before it was fully deleted. This method is wonderful-even lets me add a link and description as well as the photo. Thank you so much for this video!!

    Another great video. I made a note and added Safari material to it, worked the first time. Very clear and concise instructions.

    This is great, before quick notes I would write things down in notes and have loads of disorganised chaos, it drove me mad. This is a much better way of doing things and keeping your organised notes untouched. Thank you, it’s tutorials like these that help you want to use your I pad more.

    Thanks so much! I’ve been using iPad for years and I’m just learning this. I’m not a Senior person, but greatly appreciate your step by step guidance. I’m now a subscriber so I can learn more of what features I’m missing out.

    Great video on how to use Apple Quick Notes. The improvements Apple made to Notes following iOS 15 has been amazing. In fact Notes has now become my go to app for holding and storing many forms of information!

    My screen only brings up a screen capture. How do I get it to bring up quick notes instead?

    • @EllensTipsForiOS
      @EllensTipsForiOS  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are you swiping from the bottom right corner?? Check the Quick Note settings to be sure you haven’t changed anything. Go to Settings>Notes > Corner Gestures.

    Wonderful video, but I can’t bring up the quick note box by swiping. I went to notes app in settings and found the quick note buttons, but the one for “corner gesture” will not turn green no matter how hard or long I tap. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks, Chris.

      Hi Chris! Thanks, sorry you’re having issues. Could you try turning your iPad off and then back on. Then try turning on the toggle switch. If it doesn’t work let me know.

      @@EllensTipsForiOS Hi Ellen, thanks for responding to my comment and for doing so quickly. I rebooted the iPad, but there was no change in the corner gesture button. It’s effectively dead since it’s dim in shade and won’t respond to my touch. I guess I’ll try Apple. Thanks for your suggestion and please keep the videos coming !

      @@EllensTipsForiOS Hi Ellen, Good news ! I found a solution in Apple communities support. Someone had a related but different problem. They couldn’t turn off the corner gestures button. Someone suggested going to settings/home screen/multitasking/stage manager and swiping off the green button. I did that and then found the corner gesture button in notes was no longer greyed out and enabled. I swiped it on, turning it green and now can get quick notes with a corner gesture. I guess this means quick notes and stage manager are incompatible. But since I don’t use stage manager nor understand it, that’s okay. Thanks again, Chris

      Thanks for sharing the solution Chris! Greatly appreciated! I hope it’s will help others. I tried it on my iPad and it definitely doesn’t work with Stage Manager enabled. Great tip!!

    Can you alphabetize a list in a note?

      @EllensTipsForiOS  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You would have to do it manually.
