    At the local wheelie school the first thing they make you learn is slow wheelies from 0 km/h.

    I think the low speed wheelies are the hardest! I wheelie my sdr 1290 in 3rd gear. 2nd is scary and 1st is forbidden

      @braxen690  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah hahah 1st gear is something completely different, cant even imagine it on a 1290

    i couldt imagine trying a first gear clutch up on mine , i swear id flip it! 2nd and 3rd tho but cant get to balance like you ..fair play bro

      1st gear sure is twitchy when youre used to 2nd and up, but you learn it pretty quickly!

    A bit of a late comment, but are you clutching up or just power wheeling? I can’t seem to hear a clutch up, but my SMC R doesn’t seem to have the power to just power wheelie at that low of an RPM.

      Im using the clutch! But im barely just nudging it in when doing these 1st gear pop ups, so its hard to tell :)

    Is Sweden (I assume) just filled with perfect wheelie practice spots without traffic, cops or neighbours that will complain about the noise? Super jelly about that!

      We wish! They do get shut down after a while sadly, but we have been lucky and found some nice spots the last seasons and this particular spot is perfect!

    what year is this ktm? how is it so far, looking to get one myself to practice wheelies on

    • @braxen690

      Its 2016, and I wouldnt change it for anything! Perfect bike for both hooning around and also actually do highway speeds comfortably. Holds up super well to all the abuse, havent had any issues with it at all, they are great machines with only so much maintanance too! Compared to a 450, this is the comfortable choice ill never regret

    hey man do u reccomand this bike for having fun and doing lots of wheelies ? do you plan on changing it for something else

    • @braxen690
      @braxen690  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, for sure, but it also depends on what other things you might want to do. If its only wheelies and hooning around and you don't mind more maintenance, then id go for a 450. However for me I also want to be able to do some comfortable highway riding. But I wouldn't go for a bigger bike like a 600 sportbike or mt07/09 because they become more bulky, and the learning curve is much steeper then. They are great bikes, and I've considered going for both a bigger and smaller bike, but for hooning in both the city, on narrow backroads and the highway, the 690 is just superior in every way, cant beat it!

    My SMCR stalls on me every time when I try to pop the clutch at 0 speed. Unlike small CC bikes.

    • @braxen690
      @braxen690  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Smaller cc bikes tend to have lower gearing, so either lower the gearing or more gas :)

    • @wuzixuzhibian
      @wuzixuzhibian 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@braxen690 Thank you. I can do 0 speed wheelie on small cc but cannot do it on SMCR. I don’t know what the problem is. It stalls every time when I pop the clutch at 3000 or 4000 rpm.

    First gear wheelies were always my favorite. You run out of room too quick with 2nd gear or higher
