I suggest you use a higher gear, 1st gear with a large sprocket will be super twitchy making it much harder (Check my video where i learn 1st gear wheelies, it took me a while and thats when i already had no problems doing wheelies in 2nd and up). So go for at least 2nd gear which will make the bike way easier to controll. But other than that, you would just need to give it more throttle after clutching it up during that 1 second period you are describing, there is no other secret than to push it up higher into balance point. But there you need to have the routine worked in to use the brake, because you will need it at balance point

Yeah hahah 1st gear is something completely different, cant even imagine it on a 1290

Yeah I know 😅 I was hoping the microphone could do 2 channels, both internal and external mic sound, but sadly not. Could probably make it work, I'll give it a shot when it's time for next vlog

If you have a gopro media mod you could record the voice in camera and the exhaust sound with the external recorder.

I use the GoPro 11, which is okay in low light. With the correct settings you should get a slightly better result than in my video even. But there are other action cameras that are supposed to perform better in low light, the Osmo camera for example

I use an external microphone, the zoom H1, tucked into the hood of my hoodie

@@braxen690 tryed the H1n in a little bag on the seat. the results are awfull. Still working on a better solution...

@@PeterLucassen Ahh, picked up wind noise? I've seen people having success with putting it under the seat if you have space there. Otherwise its in some bag tight behind your body thats needed, otherwise itll be close to impossible to escape the wind

@@braxen690 no, wind noise was no problem. The sound is way to muffled, all highs are cut away because of the bag. Next time I'll tape the H1 with a deadcat to the seat of my 701. Do you Use auto level or fixed level?

@@PeterLucassen Ah, yeah ive noticed that one may only use soft fabric around the microphone or the sound will be muffled. I use fixed level

Det är nog mer gas du behöver! Alternativt justera din kroppsposition mera bakåt. Men i början (känns det som) att man behöver gasa extremt mycket mer än man är bekväm med. Har precis spelat in en wheelie tutorial som kanske hade hjälpt dig, men den kommer ut om några veckor :)

Yeah sure! Single cylinder bikes like supermotos have a not so smooth power delivery, but you get used to that pretty fast. Otherwise they are forgiving since they are light, nimble and not too fast. But ~600cc naked bikes are popular beginner bikes, but not as fun once you get past that first season
