NewYork Mayer allowed to use loudspeakers in Mosque & he was said to have respected humanity. Now my question is -
1) will his name be removed from the list of Kafirs ?
2) Is the faith so weak that it needs loudspeaker to project it ?
3) Now, if other faiths ask for the same privilege, will they be given the same ?
Kafir means a disbelievers, until He believes in the one true God He is a Kafir.
It has nothing to do with strength of faith, the purpose of Adhaan is reminder for Muslims to come pray, so Adhaan must be heard as far and wide as possible, so Loudspeaker does a great job.
You are asking this question to the wrong people, ask the mayor of New York for this.

@@secularreactions4692 KSA doesn't represent the entire Muslim community. KSA has also started to celebrate Eid-ul-Shaytan or as you call it Halloween. It is against Islam.

Hindus don’t have a call to prayer. Maybe if people attended churches the church bells would ring ? In Hindu countries you don’t pray over loudspeaker so why would you do it elsewhere ?

It's good that there is a show of human respect for different communities. I'm trying to see the positive in this. It is a shame the same level of respect is not given from Muslim communities for other religions or atheists. I am an ex Muslim Turk... I bothered to read about Islam Hadith and the Quran and I could approach Imams and ask questions. If such places of information and centers were not available then I suppose like the majority of passive Muslims I would have assumed that I'm a Muslim without knowing what it means. My choice to reject Islam should also be respected.

What are you talking about? Other than allowing other religious calls like church bells (which the US also just allows on special occasions), Islamic countries were and are much more tolerant of other religions. Historically they were even allowed to practice their own legal system in our countries and had a high degree of autonomy.

@@flykiller The Ottomans were tolerant but The jizyah is described in the Qurʾān as a tax that is imposed on a certain erring faction from among the People of the Book (Ahl al-Kitāb; non-Muslim groups such as Christians and Jews (thats if they weren't butchered during military moves). When my parents moved to the UK in the 60's they were welcomed and the Christians here didn't tax them for their Islamic beliefs Christians don't tax for belief how absurd. I think my great great grand parents were Macedonian/Greek (dna results) and likely forced assimilated during Ottoman days. I do respect our Turkish secular culture it is tolerant these days.
