Can you please do a video on the indigenous people of Northern Terroritory, the families of the afghan camelers who lived and settled there? I am super interested in it but most of the videos about them are outdated.
I'm proud to call Mareeba home. Thank you for this profound insight into our humble Muslim community. It is so beautifully captured and presented. Thank you, One Path network.
@@moholah3745 Explanation in Brief The verses cited above take up three important subjects which are the basic principles of unity among Muslims as a collectively organized community. 1. Muslims can deal with non-Muslims in the spirit of tolerance, sympathy, goodwill, equity, justice, favour and kindness, almost every-thing within that line of conduct. In fact, they should do that for they have been taught to do that. But, what is not permitted is the kind of fast friendship and indiscriminating intimacy which may garble the distinctive hallmarks of Islam. This is the issue known as the ` Tack al-Muwalat' to refrain from deep (friendship) in Islamic terminology. 2. The second principle stressed upon is that should the Muslims of any time and place shift away from the first principle stated above and develop an intimacy of this nature with non-Muslims, then, let them not be under the impression that their conduct could harm Islam in any manner whatsoever - because Allah Almighty has Himself taken the responsibility of seeing that Islam remains duly protected. It cannot be eliminated by anyone. However, if a set of people still go out of their minds, break the limits of Islamic modality of doing things and, let us presume, decide to leave the very pale of Islam, then, Allah Ta` ala will bring in another set of people who will uphold and establish the principles and laws of Islam. 3. Once we know the positive and negative aspects in perspective, it becomes evident that the real friendship of a Muslim - deep, intense, profound and reliance-worthy - can only be with Allah, the Highest of the high, His Messenger, and with those who believe in them. After this brief introduction of the subject, we can now move to the detailed explanation of the verses.
My second great grandfather was Richard Alfred Tills an very early pioneer in the Atherton tablelands and three times mayor of cairns my father and his brother (Alfreds great grand children) converted to Islam in the 80s and now there are some 50 plus of us and three generations of practicing Australian Muslims in the family. Alhamdulillah.
O you who have believed, do not take your fathers or your brothers as friends if they have preferred disbelief over belief. And whoever does so among you - then it is those who are the wrongdoers. Quran 9:23
@@moholah3745Not all of them are alike: Among the people of the Book there are those who are steadfast; they recite the verses of Allah in the night hours, and they prostrate themselves; they believe in Allah and the Hereafter, and bid the Fair and forbid the Unfair, and hasten towards good deeds. They are among the righteous. 3:113-114
I’m a Muslim from Thailand. A minority, of course, and this video put happy tears in my eyes. May Allah protect and guide all Muslims in the world. Thank you for this episode ❤
It seems that the southern part of your country has some problems with the indigenous Buddhist farmers being regularly slaughtered by some people from northern Malaysia. I'm sure you can explain to all readers here why Buddhist farmers are killed?
@@edus9636no one slaughtered Buddhists. The Malay separatists are fighting the Thai government in the areas of Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. All of that territories are majority Malay-Muslims land. They're being conquered by the Siam and the Siam are trying to change the culture and language of the Malays into Siamese back in the early 1900s. The Buddhist Siamese are not the indigenous people there, the Malays are the indigenous. Malay Territories historically were actually from Chaiya (Cahaya or light) to the end of the Malay Peninsular. We can say, actually from Kra Isthmus to the southern tip of Asia continent. Kra Isthmus comes from Malay language, 'kera', the Macaques monkey. People from Northern Malaysians doesn't go to Southern Thai to kill Buddhists, they also have Buddhists there, mainly Chinese and Siamese. I don't know where do you get the story and information from, may be you're some Northern Thais who knew nothing about history of your southern parts. The idea of assimilating the Malays into Thais that made them rebels. Now, the Thai government are more lenient to the Malays, they're allowed to use the language and perform their traditions. Many of the civil servants at the south now are Malays Muslims. The separatists are also sit in a meeting with Thai government, a few months back. The peace meeting were chaired by a Malaysian representative.
@@yojan9238 A short search at Google will show you how often Buddhist farmers in southern Thailand have been slaughtered in the last decades, just because bearded (but heavily funded) radicals can't accept defeat (similar in Mindanao, Kashmir, Israel, northern Myanmar, etc). Assimilation? Buddhists and Hindus lived in South East Asia for millenia before being attacked and/or assimilated into a new religion, that almost exterminated the others (Bali being the case as the only Hindu remains in Indonesia!). Buddhists in Northern Malaysia? How many are still alive compared to, say, 50 years ago? 1%? Funny how muslim rebels are admired for refusing assimilation while, when viceversa, the others are discriminated or exterminated (Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan, Egypt, northern Nigeria, etc). Thailand will heavily regret being lenient.
In the Quran and The Bible it's clear that Jesus is in heaven. But when it comes to Mohammed it's unknown what happened to him after death. So if he is in hell whoever believes him and his religion are going to hell...right. Think Muslims...
The elderly couple are such a gem, they’re like Adam and Eve of Mareeba and the foundation for the next generation. The twin brother that teared up was so deep and you can tell how much he feels connected to Allah and wants that goodness for his brother, subhanAllah.
Can’t imagine the bond twins must share in this life. The heartbreak of his twin brother leaving Islam was clearly painful. May Allah guide him back before it’s too late 🤲
Wrong forum to mention your nationality. No Pakistani or Arab or Turk cares whether you are Albanian. Wake up and smell the coffee. Albania is empty only 600,000 people living there now. Now they importing black africans and bengalis to fill in the population void. We are done! No one cares don't worry. All they care is about Palestine. I would be crying about the situation in Albania today! They are destroying the albanian identity.
I’m proud to say my great grandfather was an Albanian Muslim who worked in the tobacco farms of Mareeba. Alhamdulilah I am still an Albanian Muslim living in Melbourne today
Masha'Allah. I'm interested to know all of your stories guys. Alot of people in comments they are Albanian Muslim in Mareeba and I want to know everyone's side of the story.
Right and you have a Christian name. If you can't speak Albanian and no nothing about the culture your not Albanian. Second, this video is about a Muslim community, not about an ethnic community. Please keep your nationality out of it. The Mareeba community is a mixed Muslim community, it has nothing to do with anyone's nationality.
Selam brother, I'm just curious to know more about your nationality, do you speak Albanian, did you kept your Albanian tradition? Have you been to Albania? From which city from Albania are your grand grandparents? Good to know that you are practicing Muslims 😊
@@zrak22 the first Albanians that went to Mareeba were from the Korçe area are like my family. My great grandfather however left Mareeba and came back to Albania to get married but because of the communist system he was not allowed to come back. After the 90s and fall of communism my family got papers to become Australian citizens because of him and we moved to Melbourne.
Mareeba was a Christian town till muslim group came n deceive people to converted to islam. Those mosques was built on top of the churches, the oldest church was built in mareeba was built by muslim into a mosque
I am from Indonesia. The story of the Muslims in Mareeba made me cry and proud of my Muslim brothers and sisters there. Thank you for sharing. Barakallahu fiikum!
I'm an Arab living in France, originally from Morocco. I went to Indonesia two years ago, and this country made me realize many things, such as how a single man from the desert (peace and blessings be upon him) succeeded in spreading Islam to both the far west (Morocco) and the far east (Indonesia) without physically going there. I always tell Indonesians that the only thing we have in common is Islam. im going again in 2 weeks
*what a mistake in the Qur'an!* Allah himself testifies that he has a son and he is the son as Christians understand it! Only the Koran writer was too ignorant to know what Son of God means! Allah's word which created everything is Allah himself too! *The Word Allahs which created everything is the Son of God according to Christianity!*
Son of God does not mean that God has a child in Christianity! *what a mistake in the Qur'an!* Son of God are 2 titles one referring to the Word of God = God himself and one referring to creation (humans, angels, demons)
Alhamdulillah my brother, let the video be a reminder that unless we hold fast and dedicate our time and effort to this way of life, we will always lose some of our selves.
Beautiful community we go there every year for the last 8 years for Dawah They host us amazingly and show us around may ٱللَّٰه bless them and protect there community
I was born and raised in Melbourne Australia. I am 32 years of age and I am extremely proud to be a Muslim and I am also so very proud to be an Australian.
Pauline Hanson supports Israel. So does the majority of the establishment. I spent some time in Bendigo during the mosque proposal. Made me really proud to be an Australian!!
As a muslim albanian, born in Kosovo and fled to Austria in the 90tes where I still live. I know the challenges of migration and difficulties of practicing islam. This video really touched my heart and made me proud of my cultural heritage.
I remember that. As a child I lived in Hampstead South Australia. Some of the Kosovo refugees got placed at the Hampstead Barracks. I wanted to play football with the children
I'm watching from Ghana, West Africa. Who ever taught Islam would one day even reach my land which used to be a shirk infested land before the colonizers came. Alhamdulil laah to be a Muslim. This is so comforting to watch. May Allah grant us all Jannah and accept our deeds in this blessed month
Wow, this is really powerful. SubhanAllah. We're trying to develop our Slovak Muslim community as well, and the Muslims of Mareeba are an interesting case study for us to follow. Amazing production!
Follow the Quran only. In Islam there is no central authority, so you don't have to look to Turks or Arabs informing you about your religion. They did that in the Balkans and only brought in there authority and traditions. Islam is more about having justice than worrying about details on prayers. Instead look into the quran. You will be fine.
Assalamu alaykum, I'm an Albanian living in London for the past 5 years, I've always considered myself muslim but it wasn't until Covid time when I started to establish the 5 daily prayers and got much more closer to Allah. I've watched other videos from your TH-cam channel which I really like them and came across this one so randomly, but as an Albanian I must thank you particularly because I did not know there is such a big and beautiful Muslim Albanian community in Australia. Thank you so much for your amazing job that you're doing and may Allah bless you! 🤲
As a Muslim American immigrant this made me cry so much (I am crying right now as I am writing this) because I am so worried about my children who are all born here, I pray everyday they would never stray away from our beautiful religion, but I know the possibility is there, if not them may be their children 😢😢😢😢😢. Anyone who is reading this and who comes from a majority Muslim country and want to immigrate to a non Muslim country please think very hard before your embark on your journey. May the almighty Allah bless the community in Mareeba, Gaza and everywhere. Amine🙏🏻🙏🏻
May Allah keep you and your family steadfast inshaAllah. You might want to start thinking about hijra my brother if it's possible for you and your family in the near future inshaAllah.
I used to live in Australia as a non muslim. I heard about Mareeba but didnt know much about it.. But maa syaa Allah now i know and i wished i knew about it back then. Im now in Indonesia, living as a muslim . Alhamdulillah
You wrote maa syaa Allah instead of Maa shaa Allah... That means you're from The Archipelagos of Nusantara. Because only there people use 'sya' instead of 'sha' in spelling.😅 Alhamdulillah, you're a Muslim now sister.
I watched the video with my son and we were so touched and excited to watch our Muslims and their lives in Mareeba, thank you for showing us this beautiful place, Ramadan Mubarak 🌙
Watching this as an Albanin Muslim living in Germany it really warmed my heart. Hope one day we will have such a beautiful and connected community as this one in Mareeba 🤲🏻☝🏼🇦🇱

Teaching Albanian to who? Why would you be teaching Albanian to foreigners? Second no one cares that youa re Albanian, a dying race of only 600,000 living in Albania. You don't go teaching your language, it is for Albanians only. You want to the world to love your nationalism. Albanians always serving foreingers as translators. Like they do for NATO. This video is about Islam, not about Albanians. Or albanian communities. Watch the movie over.
@@mohamedalahmadani5174 Thanks brother the UAE has been home to me and my family for the last twenty plus years. It's a lovely nation with hospitable people and a great leadership.
Being an Albanian Muslim from Kosova, watching this and seeing my Albanian Muslim brothers in Australia is amazing. I never knew this community existed. Thank you, OnePath Network, for making this video.
We have communities like this in almost every country. Go to America and Brazil and you will see even more muslims communites. This community is not albanian, first the town is majority Christian, they are a small percentage of the town. The muslim community jan perzi me maxhupet. They have become sunni and intermixed, they are not of our people and do not speak the language.
Milan, i will tell you the truth. Kosova otherwise known as Unmikistan was created as an artificial state by the Western powers for various reasons. Is Kosova independent? No it has no attributes of an independent country no more than Palestine does. Foreigners come and go with there military with the Kosova government having no control over them. There economy, fake flag and currency was completely installed by foreigners without asking anyone that lives there. They even made it an official athiest state as is stated in its fake constitution. I think the best thing that could have happened for Kosova was to be a Republic under Serbia as the Albanian government is too poor to manage its own people it can't join it at this point and even if it did want to the puppet fake leaders there will listen to London and Washington. They had it good there, unfortunately when foreigners come in, they destroy a great country like Yugoslavia. Keep in mind Macedonia was also part of Serbia so was Montenegro. I don't see you sayhing it is Serbia? Also 1/3 of Kosova is already under Serbian control, the rest under NATO/Eulex control. @@milankengur7216

You'd be wise to look into your own genetic history as no doubt you may have the same genealogy as the maxhup you speak of.

@@bigchongusHHShe was young. And there were reasons for that. Woman were largely married at this time for security especially if member’s of the woman’s family were old or sick and couldn’t necessarily take proper care of their daughter then marriage was a way to bring a husband into her life to protect her from atrocious things that were happening to women at the time. Not only this, but all woman mature at different ages. A female may sexually mature when she’s 11, 12, 13. However, it could take longer until she’s 18 or 19. It all depends on the physical traits of the female. Also, it’s important to note that life expectancy rates have greatly improved. And so, a 30 year old marrying a 20 year old although it’s seen as okay since people regard both as adults, it would be similar in the time of the Prophet pbuh if a man was in his mid twenties marrying a mid teen or late teen female who was matured. It was the same kind of concept because as I said life expectancy was much lower. So early marriage was a very common thing for people who wanted to live a morally decent life with a life-long partner. Many people didn’t make it past 40. And so, when you factor in all of these points and more you’ll understand that you can not take this fact that you point out and relate it to today’s context since it simply just doesn’t work it’s a different time full of different norms and different problems.

For me as an Albanian patriot its actually pretty sad... I am Albanian, it makes me sad to see fellow Albanians like in this video throw their Albanian/European identity in the trash in favor of Isl4m. Instead of emracing Islam (a religion that was brought by the Ottoman invad ers in Albania through taxes amd discrimination) they should have done their best to integrate in to the Wider Australian Society, this pe0ple are indoctrinated brainwashed at best and trai tors at worst which if true i as an Albanian want nothing to do with them!
So instead of doing your best to integrate into the wider German Society you choose to embrace Islam a religion and a lifestyle which is very foreign to the German people, you are simply ungratefull!

@@moholah3745 Explanation in Brief
The verses cited above take up three important subjects which are the basic principles of unity among Muslims as a collectively organized community.
Asalamoulaikum from Mauritius İsland. Ramadan Kareem to u and everyone at your place.

Kosovo is serbia. Not even with all the west are you an independent nation. You are not from kosovo, you are from serbia
How old was Aisha
How old for what? @@bigchongusHH
@@saabsk5955Don’t be rude, brother. If you want to explain your opinion to a single Islam with no nationalism then do so nicely. Don’t attack the brother for saying he’s from a particular land. In the Quran and The Bible it's clear that Jesus is in heaven. But when it comes to Mohammed it's unknown what happened to him after death. So if he is in hell whoever believes him and his religion are going to hell...right. Think Muslims...
@@Jesus_SOG_no no we k kw where Muhamed is,we know he'll be the first to enter paradise and we know that he'll make the largest intercession to Allah for his followers so He may forgive as more people as possible.but anyway you still got time and read the Quran with open mind and try to find the truth...or you can continue the same way and enjoy the hellfire.it's you the one who choose
Great advice

I like it very much. How an Albanian Muslim community maintain Islam in a remote area of Australia known as Mareeba. I like their unique farming for Halal rizik. May Allah subhanutala bless the community and Australian accept Islam for their eternal emancipation
Albanians are such good people. With Sheikh Albani as one of their best representatives, that alone should make them feel honoured. May Allah keep us all guided
Absolutely
Sheikh Albani left Albania instead of fighting. He did nothing for Albania and never mentioned the partition. He went to become an Arab. He was involved in his hadith rejection analysis and made changes to prayer and how people interpret hadith and madhabs. He was a pioneer, but had nothing to do with his roots.
@@saabsk5955well my friend, to us Arabs he is a dear and great man who was meticulous in the complicated science of Hadith

Beautiful.
Islam in Mareeba reminds me of how it all started in a small town of Makkah and then in Medina. It would have been a small countryside community.
We often talk about Islam in big metropolis like Sydney and Melbourne but this story of Islam in Mareeba is indeed touching, for anyone who knows about pledge of aqaba and how some Muslims started a community in Medina.
May Allah bless the Muslims of Mareeba. Ameen

As an Albanian, born and raised in Germany, I got so emotional watching this video. I wanna come to Mareeba only to visit you guys, as your story is so inspirational.
May Allah teala protect you ✨
For me as an Albanian patriot its actually pretty sad...
I am Albanian, it makes me sad to see fellow Albanians like in this video throw their Albanian/European identity in the trash in favor of Isl4m.
Instead of emracing Islam (a religion that was brought by the Ottoman invad ers in Albania through taxes amd discrimination)
they should have done their best to integrate in to the Wider Australian Society, this pe0ple are indoctrinated brainwashed at best and trai tors at worst which if true i as an Albanian want nothing to do with them!
So instead of doing your best to integrate into the wider German Society you choose to embrace Islam a religion and a lifestyle which is very foreign to the German people, you are simply ungratefull!
I'm not crying you are. SubhanAllah that was an amazing touching story of this community. May Allah increase them in everything, from eemaan, health, wealth, family, community numbers and quality of their actions and give them long life. Ameen.

I am an Indian Muslim. This story of Albanian immigrants to Australia in Mariba is extremely inspiring. It opens the eyes of those who are Muslims by generation but forget their true way of life. It strengthens the faith in Allah, Final Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and in Australia. May Allah bless the Mariba community.
As an Aussie born Albanian I totally understand the struggles the community encountered during the 1980s. Cause the same had happened to the Albanian Illawarra community in nsw ..unfortunately now most of the Albanian community have moved to Melbourne and a small amount of families remain here and are far away from deen. Inshallah they turn back Islam. But seeing Mareeba having a very united community is a beautiful feeling to see such unity. Bashkim rroft shqiptaret e islame
Can you elaborate more on why they left Islam? Was Islam already repressed in Albania?
It's the sects that drive albanians away from Islam, not Islam. It's the Arabism and wahabis that have hijackked islam and with it bring new laws and cultures and attach it to Islam. Let me ask you as a Muslim, according to the Arab sects of Islam, would you stone and kill someone for leaving Islam?
